I chose this program the same way I choose most things—by reading reviews—so I want to be clear this is a real review from someone who has been to multiple treatment programs in multiple states. Better Choice in Las Vegas is, by far, the best treatment program I have ever been in. The most important difference is advocacy and accountability. No one passes the buck or shifts responsibility. You never hear “sorry, that’s someone else’s job” or get bounced between staff members. If an issue comes up, someone takes ownership and follows it through until it’s resolved. That level of follow-through is rare in treatment and makes a huge difference. The staff genuinely cares—from the nurses to the counselors to the program director. They advocate for you, communicate with each other, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. I also want to mention that I came here with my husband. They do accept couples, and they have figured out how to make that work the right way. We are not treated as a single unit or lumped together. We each receive individual treatment tailored to our own needs, with separate counseling and support plans. The living environment is excellent. The house is beautiful and comfortable, with queen-size beds, a fenced yard, a pool, and a hot tub. It feels like a home, not an institution. There is an in-house chef who prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, and the food is consistently great. The program itself is well structured and thoughtfully designed. They take you from the science of addiction into personal and individual therapy at a pace that actually works. The counselors are patient, knowledgeable, and able to meet each client where they are. If you need more time or more support, they give it to you without pressure. They also understand that life doesn’t stop because you’re in treatment. They don’t push a rigid, fear-based mindset. Instead, they help you deal with real-world issues and do everything they can to support you while you’re there. This place genuinely feels like home. You’re treated like a human being, met exactly where you are, and supported in a way that feels real and respectful. I honestly couldn’t ask for more.

The program here at BetterChoice exceeded my expectations. The staff followed through with everything they said and then some. The two counselors Ms. Wyconda & Ms. Angelica made me feel welcome and we're open to a treatment plan that best fit my needs. The nursing staff were all so very friendly. Shout out to Armineh for all her words of wisdom. I got to know the Techs on a personal level which was huge for me, since we spent a lot of time together. Tiffany, Christian, Darcee & Stephanie you all made my experience feel like home. The facility itself was always clean & organized. Stocked with food/snacks. Plenty of entertainment for down times. 3 prepared meals a day from the inhouse chef, she goes by Z and is a rockstar. So anyone looking for help, I highly recommend BetterChoice. I feel so blessed to have turned my life around with all the help from the men & women here. Don't hesitate to make that first call they will help you and take care of you through your new beginning.
