Better Choice changed my life!! I hit rock bottom with alcoholism, and they lifted me back up. They helped me to understand that I have a chronic disease and gave me the tools I need to stay sober. The facility is very nice and made me feel like I was at home which made me comfortable and relaxed. The people that work there became my family, and I could not have done it without their compassion and empathy! They truly care about their clients! Wakanda is awesome!! Her group sessions are incredible and what I needed. She is energetic and funny! She took something hard to face into something I looked forward to learning about every day!! All of the nurses are amazing!! Armena, Amera, Devon, Nancy, Tracey, and Karen are angels!! They always talked to me as an equal and never judged. I enjoyed sharing my story with them, laughing and crying!! Best nurses ever!! The techs are awesome!! Tiffany, Christian, Darcee, Stephanie, Sherry, and Mia, thank you so very much for everything!! They understand substance use disorder and can relate their personal experiences to what I was going through. Tiffany, you are truly the best!! You are so strong and your strength gave me hope!! Christian, thank you for listening and caring!! I enjoyed watching TV, football, and attending my first AA meeting with you. You are an inspiration!! Darcee and Stephanie, the dynamic duo! Thank you for all you do!! Sherry, thank you for greeting me in the morning with warmth and your beautiful smile!! I only got to spend a couple days with Mia, but she is such an incredible young woman!! So smart and intuitive!! Chef Z, thank you for the amazing meals!! She is an incredible chef! I will definitely miss her laugh and singing, well, maybe not the singing, haha!! Lastly, Dr. Kazuba and Angelica!! Thank you! Your compassion to help people is so much appreciated!!
