This addiction recovery program doesn’t just change lives — it restores them. From the very beginning, I felt this place is built on hope, compassion, and genuine understanding. Their 12-step approach provides more than structure; it gives people a path forward when they feel lost, broken, or unsure if healing is even possible. What truly sets this program apart is the staff. They are knowledgeable and professional, but more importantly, they lead with empathy and heart. Many of them have walked this road themselves, and that lived experience creates a level of compassion and connection that can’t be taught. They don’t judge. They don’t lecture. They understand. And that kind of support makes all the difference when you’re rebuilding your life. I’m especially grateful for how they involve loved ones in the process. Addiction impacts families, not just individuals, and this program recognizes that. They educate, support, and empower families so healing can happen together. The aftercare program is another reflection of their commitment. Recovery doesn’t end after treatment, and they make sure no one has to navigate sobriety alone. The continued guidance, accountability, and sense of community give clients the strength and confidence to maintain long-term success.

My experiences at Aloha have always been life changing in so many positive ways. Truth be told, I’ve been working with Aloha for the last few years and they have quite literally saved my life on numerous occasions.. The depth of my healing journey at Aloha is hard to put into words, I find myself wanting to cry as I write this because this place just means so much to me. The staff are ON TOP of whatever you may need with the most love in their hearts, the decor is beautiful, the plants are stunning and refreshing; Everything is just so peaceful and truly meant to assist in your healing journey. I never thought I’d find a therapist, psychiatrist, and staff that truly care, understand me, and want to help like those that work here. They are so much fun and full of love for everyone. All of them. I’m just a girl that didn’t know where to go and thankfully I found Aloha. With their help, and some elbow grease, life ahead does look brighter and feels less heavy in general. Mahalo for your support. THERAPY IS COOL 💟

This facility is amazing and life changing. I will note it took me going to the Brighton inpatient facility in south Ogden first and following up here to make a difference. My life has completely changed for the better. I had been seeking help for 3 years prior and nothing seemed to work. I was truly at a loss and this was a last ditch effort. I am thankful for Donny Wheat who was so quick to meet me same day I showed interest and had questions about the facility. He has been there every step of the way. I had not had to make any decisions alone nor was I left with any questions. You can tell how much he cares not just about his job but about each individual he comes into contact with. My therapist Becca has been the best therapist I have ever had. It took a few weeks to build a connection but now I feel like she SEES me. She understands me like no other therapist has. I have never felt emotional during a session and lately my sessions are healing parts of me I didn’t know were still unhealed. Amy is super wonderful and knowledgeable and she even runs the alumni group on thursdays. She will make a great SUDC one day! Thankful for this facility. I finally have hope for my future. Highly recommend.

Best program I’ve ever been a part of! They truly care about your recovery and mental health and help you to understand how they are interconnected and how to treat both. They’re not perfect but are always listening to feedback and making improvements. I can’t recommend their PHP and IOP programs enough! Shout out to Keenan who helped me tremendously and has inspired me to go into this field to help others.

I've been a patient for years and it was quite the rollercoaster ride for the first few years while I was fighting my addiction but NO MATTER WHAT the staff was ALWAYS there for me in whatever area of my addiction and recovery I was in every single staff member that I worked with was there to help me from my darkest and worst days to my brightest and best days nobody ever made me feel like they turned their back on me or had given up me as long as I kept showing up and just kept putting in the work to be successful they all have had my back through it all so here I am 8 months into my recovery and going strong but it's not only me but my man as well we did it together and have BAART to thank for a HUGE part of our success... So to the entire staff at the Ogden, UT BAART Program, Thank you from the bottom of my heart you have helped me accomplish something in my life I NEVER thought was possible!!! Here's to our continued success in our on going recovery, one day at a time... 🩷🩷🩷

I was very happy with the staff at Professional Services. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with my experience, and I also knew that I came to the right place, a place that offered classes/treatment that I had previously never been offered. There was an extremely helpful staff member. She helped me through the process and organized my schedule for me. Not only was she professional, but she was very relatable - I always felt comfortable with her efforts to help me on my journey to sobriety. I never felt judged in any way. I appreciated the instructor Prime For Life classes - she was very helpful, and again, relatable to work with. Another instructor had a great impact on me as well, instructing online classes each week. I learned so much about my addiction in a way I had never discovered before. The different phases of alcoholism were very understandable and easy for me to relate to. I was given hope that I now have the power to turn back, and to not lose the most important things in life!

I have received services here since 2019 - current. I was first introduced to the facility as part of my recovery program. I wanted change and worked the programs. They worked. I've continued using the mental health therapy. Changing therapists if I didn't think they were a good fit was never an issue. My daughter also uses their programs on the youth side for mental health. I see Joni who is a prescriber, she's great at what she does and cares about her patients. It's a great community resource for bettering your life and knowing you're not alone.

Not my choice to do the program, it was an inconvenience at first and I came in with a negative view about having to attend group. Cody was my assigned therapist and I absolutely love her, she helped me see things that I didn’t see before and helped me work through some of my struggles. She made our therapy sessions, supportive and it felt like I was speaking with a friend who actually cared. Cody is the type of person you want to hang out with because of the vibe she gives off, I learned so much from our therapy sessions and my view on the whole thing has changed and I feel like it was a good and needed experience after all. This review is for Britney Nilsen, my DV Therapist and Dawtae shaw my therapist! Britney is one of the kindest and most caring therapists I’ve ever met. She has an incredible ability to see things from a different perspective, which often helps me look at my own situations in a new and more positive light. Her approach to navigating and talking through difficult experiences is truly amazing. Britney’s personality is awesome - she’s completely down to earth, easy to talk to, and genuinely feels like someone you could call a friend. She’s soft and compassionate, yet still direct and to the point when it matters most. I always looked forward to my sessions with her each week. Dawntae Shaw is super nice down to earth and a very great listener. I felt she was kind but direct when needed and helped me open my eyes to see things from a different perspective. Dawntae knows my deepest hurts and truly was there for me through every tear shed during the most difficult time of my life. I owe her everything and then some! Thank you for helping me pick up the pieces of my brokenness and helping rebuild my strength through my darkest moments. This woman saw me find my faith use god as my strength and make the changes that I needed to be a better mother. Thank you Dawntae!

I am honored to write a review for Spirit Mountain Recovery. I truly cannot say enough about the quality of their programming, the professionalism of the staff, and the commitment to putting resources directly back into a program that genuinely cares. Our family has extensive experience with rehabilitation facilities. Two of our sons have been through many programs - we have done the research, tried them, and paid for them. Because of this, we know what works, what is real and what isn't. Do not waste your time hesitating - Spirit Mountain Recovery is truly exceptional. The leadership here is real and deeply committed. These are people that will move heaven and earth to help save lives. This program will build you back up, hold you accountable to do the work, fully integrate families ino the healing process and support you with genuine care and compassion. Every staff that works there is compassionate, present, and deeply invested in the success of the men in their care. Their dedication, integrity and heart are what make all the difference. There is no facility that compares to what Spirit Mountain offers. Our family is profoundly grateful. Eileen Ballard

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

Brighton Recovery Center in South Ogden, Utah, is an addiction treatment facility that provides residential care for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients can enjoy a view of mountain ranges as they focus on their recovery. The staff takes a multifaceted approach to healing by providing treatmen
My overall experience at Brighton was amazing, I'm so deeply grateful for everyone at the South Ogden location. The staff and residents have cultivated an environment that truly supports growth and I left feeling deeply fulfilled. I went in with the mindset "I have to get sober" and left with "I get to be sober." They showed me life can be enjoyed, just just endured. Not white knuckling my way every second of my life. For anyone considering this step, you truly get out what you put in. If you come in surrendered, open, and willing to accept the process, the reward is life changing, I promise with all my heart. Taking that step requires immense vulnerability, but at Brighton, that vulnerability is matched by a team that genuinely cares. The head nurse, Siobhan, was a true blessing, my therapist Shawn was amazing, and the technician staff were all fantastic. It is so important to be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work, and that is exactly what I felt every day. I really appreciated the balanced program they offer combining deep group therapy and individual one-on-one sessions with holistic activities like spirituality, exercise, art, and outdoor time. While there were a few days where communication felt a little disconnected, the team overall stayed completely on top of the program and delivered a remarkably strong experience. I’m sharing this because deciding to enter recovery can be terrifying. I hope my experience can be a beacon of hope for someone else standing on the edge of that choice... Take the leap. You will be supported here!!💛

I had a pretty tame experience here except for when my therapist Weston suggested that me being SAed was a propelling factor to me being transgender even though I already told him I was out of the closet before that happened. He was fine besides that, though. Love the techs and nurses and staff. I also thought it strange that they didn’t let people change therapists when they asked to. But yeah it was clean and there was a lot to do and I really liked having a radio.

The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling.

Diamond Recovery is owned and staffed by individuals who have personal experience with substance use recovery, which brings a level of passion, authenticity and understanding that is difficult to replicate. The team is genuinely committed to helping clients achieve and maintain sobriety by providing practical tools, structure, and consistent accountability. Their holistic approach is not passive—they actively challenge clients to examine and change behaviors and patterns that no longer serve them. This creates an environment focused on real growth rather than temporary compliance. That said, success in the program depends heavily on the client’s willingness to commit and engage in the work. For those who are ready to take responsibility for their recovery and make meaningful changes, Diamond Recovery offers strong support and guidance toward long-term sobriety and a happy, healthy life.

UPDATE: unfortunately it's been a couple years and still on the methadone but that's because of other issues and my body needing long relief from pain, with that being said i just wanted to thank Mary and Dr Stephen for treating me as a patient and working outside of the addiction side of treatment and willing to work with the recommendations from my personal Dr's, i seriously can't express how compassionate you all have been and treat me with the upmost respect, anyone truly looking for the right place for help look no further CTC of Layton and all there people really do care. I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

This is a safe place to go for help. The counselors, nurses, reception, the doctor and even the other patients are wonderful. I've been coming here for over 6 months. I've been treated with respect and the supportive environment has been vital to my recovery. Everybody working there is there because they want to be. Because they genuinely care and want to help you. There's accountability when I need it without feeling judged. My counselor Caitlin is one of the best people I've ever met. Her warmth makes her easy to talk to. She's so smart and she's great at helping with addiction issues. Whether it's a quick hello or she's checking in with me to see how I'm doing. I always look forward to seeing her when I come in to dose.

From the Nurses. THERAPISTS, Doctors and even to the other patients. This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back. There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I have developed an intense trust for all clinic employees, never did I think it possible but their techniques are working. Thank you all at Layton CTC

I like the place. The people are nice. My psychiatrist is Cassi Cluff and she's great. She listens well without criticism or judgement. She offers good ideas and support and she helped me find a grief clinic to help me with my grief after my mom passed away from Alzheimer's. I can actually vent without worrying that I'm talking her ear off. I feel like that a lot lately. I would recommend her to others

My son was just transferred to Benchmark from a facility here in Alaska. From the first contact, they were helpful, hopeful, and encouraging to my son and our family. Mindy is his therapist and she has kept in contact with my husband and I and made sure to ask deep questions about our son and his bio family. She takes time to show our son what trauma can do to your brain. Even with the time difference, the staff always makes sure our son gets to talk to us everyday. Without fail. They went over all his meds as well as making sure we as his parents understood what he’s on, why, and what side effects he could have. He hasn’t been there very long, but this is the first time in years that there is hope our son won’t just be another statistic in the system. Thank you Benchmark!

This is my experience visiting my nephew 2 weeks ago. I call often so Sophia has always been so pleasant. Visting was even better. I am from California so it isn't easy to make it out there as often as i would like but my experience with everyone was great. My nephew wasn't able to leave campus due to his actions the night before but they allowed us to spend as much time with him while we were at the facility. We were able to meet a few of the staff including his therapist JB who is great! I appreciate everyone there, bc this job isn't easy. They deal with many kids with different personalities and issues. I know the journey isn't over yet, but I feel like my nephew is in good hands here. Thank you all for doing what you do and hope he can come home soon.

Our daughter burned her hands on our fireplace and was in terrible pain. We chose to go to the ER at Lakeview. We had a great experience. Our PA was Kyle and he was super great with Bentley. Explaining what he was doing and was able to debride her blisters without a single tear. Vern, Tazia, and Kaitie were the nursing team and were all great with my kiddo. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience.
