So I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

From the Nurses. THERAPISTS, Doctors and even to the other patients. This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back. There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I have developed an intense trust for all clinic employees, never did I think it possible but their techniques are working. Thank you all at Layton CTC

This is an amazing place, from the doctors to the nurses to the counselors. I have never been treated with more respect at any health care facility much less anything addiction related. They never make you feel bad about yourself and treat you with respect. The decision I made to come here was the best decision I've ever made. If you need help, look no further!!

I have been a client of DBH for over ten years, and their medical team, including Dr. Susan Mallory, Dr. Julana Schenk, and Dr. Michael Roundy, consistently provides exceptional, compassionate care. It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

We recently had the opportunity to work alongside Spirit Mountain Recovery | Men's Addiction Treatment, installing a wall charger at their facility. Although we haven't personally utilized their recovery services, our interactions with Matthew and the team left a significant impression. From the initial contact, it was clear that Spirit Mountain Recovery isn't just another treatment center—they're a dedicated team of good, honest, hard-working individuals genuinely invested in their clients' well-being. As a small business ourselves, we deeply appreciate partnering with other small businesses committed to making a meaningful impact. Working together to make their property more energy-efficient, ensuring they can maintain critical resources during power outages, reinforced our respect for their forward-thinking and caring approach. What truly stood out was speaking with their investors and owners, many of whom openly shared, "I've gone through the program myself." That speaks volumes about the authenticity, dedication, and effectiveness of the services offered here. We have immense respect for organizations like Spirit Mountain Recovery, whose team members actively work on personal growth while genuinely helping others. We highly recommend them—not just for their mission, but for their genuine character and integrity. We at Halo Hybrid Solutions are looking forward to working with you on your energy backup and storage.

Spirit Mountain Recovery was nothing short of a life saver for me. Before arriving, I was the kind of guy who thought he knew everything, no one could tell me anything new or how I needed to live my life. But this place gently but powerfully shifted that mindset. Through their guidance, I’ve moved from someone stuck in his ways to someone who is open, growing, and learning every single day. My experience at Spirit Mountain was fresh and a transformation. It wasn’t just another treatment program for me, it was a complete reset for my life. The environment, the staff, and the support system created a space where I could dig deep, challenge old beliefs, and start building a better version of myself. Most importantly, Spirit Mountain didn’t just give me the tools for sobriety, they gave me tools to grow as a man and to deepen my spiritual life. Today I’m working everyday to walk a path that’s grounded in purpose and faith, and I’m incredibly grateful for the role this recovery center played in that journey. Thank you, Spirit Mountain Recovery

I love this VA hospital and their staff. Sure, the facility is showing it's age and scheduling can be frustrating. Don't blame the hospital or it's staff. The current administration froze hiring and most areas are under staffed. The only thing wrong with the VA is funding. Be an advocate. Get involved. Write our congressional delegation.

I've been receiving care at the VA and also at the University of Utah medical center for the last 20 years. Both facilities provide excellent service, and with Dr training programs at the U that have rotations at the VA veterans get exposure to the world class research going on. There are two areas that the VA actually excels at and exceeds the U: Mental Health and Whole Health/ Mindfulness departments offer help for veterans that cannot be found across the street. Veterans are given the tools that promote wellness and prevention of illness. The notion from years past that the VA was a place to be avoided needs to be dispelled.

The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling.

I recently completed my 45-day residential stay at Brighton, and it was truly a great learning experience. During my time there, I was able to better understand the mental health challenges I’ve been facing and develop healthier coping skills that I’ll carry with me moving forward. I’m incredibly grateful to all the staff at Brighton for their support and guidance throughout this journey. Huge thanks to the Life Techs— ❤️ Kellie, Dillion, Danielle, Joe, Hillary, Jeff, Cameron, and Paula—for the meaningful conversations and for keeping me engaged in all the activities. You all made the experience feel real and relatable. Steve thank you for being such a good role model, you are truly an inspiration ❤️ Thank you, Donny, for understanding the military mindset and for introducing me to the Monastery before I took the big step—it made a difference. Big shoutout to my case manager, Lewis. I know how much effort you put into planning our outings, and I truly appreciated the thought and coordination you gave—especially with Fit to Recovery. Dr. Weston, thank you for helping me understand my diagnosis and for providing the tools and guidelines to approach conflict in a healthier way. To the Med Techs—Stephanie, Lettie, Jennifer, and Shavon—thank you for your kindness and care during my stay. And finally, thank you to Mika, Thomas, and Kevin for the delicious meals. Your cooking brought comfort and a sense of home to every day. Brighton gave me a safe place to heal and grow, and I’m thankful for everyone who was a part of that.

My time with Brighton has been life changing to say the least. This was my second time going through a treatment center and the difference was night and day. This time around I was able to get down to some root causes and truly get an understanding of what is going on in my head. The path ahead is much clearer after doing the 45 days at the monastery ( which is a beautiful and awesome place that really allows you to disconnect and allows you a safe place to process and heal.) I learned that connection was huge to my recovery thanks to my therapist Ashley and the connections I made there were crucial and meaningful. I still have a group of friends that I made there, that we get together and do sober activities. I can thank the program for exposing me to a community of like minded people, who understand, including staff and therapist. When I first got there I couldn’t stop to think how did I let myself end up at this point, but the day I walked out of the monastery my attitude was a complete 180, I was grateful to have experienced that and enjoyed finding myself again. They really do set you up for success. In addition, I had the blessing of working with Mr. Donny Wheat, who is the liaison for military clients. I can’t stress enough how beneficial it was having Mr. Wheat advocate for me, and provide a transparent communication with my unit of how treatment was going. It honestly gave my unit more of an understanding and allowed them to trust the process and program that Brighton has. At the end of the day our employers want us back to work and healthy right? But having Mr. Wheat allowed the process to go at the right pace. At my previous treatment center there was no such person. All in all Brighton has provided for me a fresh start in every aspect. We all have flaws, but they don’t have to define us, my 45+ days ( now that I am at their sober living facility, which is equally great) has made me realize that my flaws can be used to better myself. As I am writing this I am working on close to 90 days sober and I have every intention to just keeping looking forward one day at time, and I can thank the folks at Brighton for that.

I have been to three different rehabs over my 25+ year addiction and Diamond surpasses the other ones by a longshot! It's a sixty day program but I decided to stay ninety because my intuition and my gut told me I needed it. In those ninety days they helped guide me in every way spiritually, mentally, physically and socially to find my true self and who I was again because when I got to Diamond I honestly didn't know who I was any more! The sound bath and meditation that one of the therapists does is very helpful to break through the layers and walls I had put up. All of the peer support, therapists, director and owner genuinely care and want to see us succeed. They know what they are doing and most of them are in recovery so they are really easy to relate to. I didn't have one bad interaction with any of the staff they were all so helpful and I'm forever in their debt! I don't want to name anyone specifically because I would have to name all of them and I'm not joking. Each and everyone of them helped me in some way and they probably don't even realize it. Belonging to the softball team means the world to me because my whole life I never was on any team except my own and look where that got me. So thank you Diamond for giving me my life back and guiding me to find my True self again! I'm forever Grateful 💎❤️

Great food with chef on site that makes some amazing meals, courteous and professional staff, lots of support in recovery ,structure is appropriate to provide a suitable environment for developing self discipline and recovering, but not excessive, gym pass is included, meditation and sound bath once a week, horse therapy is off site every two weeks or so, sauna and massage chair on site for the men's household, we also did an ice bath plunge which is great for resetting dopamine receptors every 3 weeks or so, felt supported in my recovery and encouraged to make personal changes in my life, my therapist Ashley was amazing and I feel like being at diamond has made me a better person overall :) 10/10 stars

Wonderful folks who only want to help. Follow the rules and have a good experience. Thanks to these guys for helping so many. Be nice and they'll be nice back:) Update about a year later. I still can't say enough good about this location and the wonderful staff here. So much good can happen w the right attitude and accepting the help this place can offer. Money wasn't an issue, I paid out of pocket to start and they helped me get on benefits to ease the costs. But at no time did they turn me away for any reason. I am so grateful for these folks and the assistance they provide time and time again. They really do care so if you are living so hard and feel like no one cares give these places a chance and get help. Totally worth it.

This is the best clinic I've ever been to. The doctors are awesome! Update; I have now been going to Martindale Clinic for over 5 years now. I am happy to say that I'm happier than ever to be going to Martindale Clinic. I know some reviews make it seem like they are negligent answering phones and returning calls, but please remember they serve SO many people that they are constantly busy. But this is actually a testament of how Awesome they really are! To have so many people as patients! Here's some examples of my experiences in these last 5 years; During COVID (2020), I had recently lost my housing, and ended up drinking antifreeze after asking help from The U of U, only for the U to kick me off the property. When I was walking up to Martindale Clinic while drinking from the jug of antifreeze, someone is saw and went in and told the staff. My PCP (Jessica Arbogast) literally came outside with a couple of chairs and sat with me while they called the ambulance. Keep in mind this was at the hight of COVID and as it turned out, I had an active COVID infection. My PCP sat and talked with me the whole time until the ambulance arrived. Then she also directed them to bring me to LDS hospital, since I had just had such a negative experience at the U, and didn't feel safe there even though the U was a bit closer. Jessica also remembers my family members names that I've talked about. She even remembers the problems or encounters that I have talked about regarding not just family, but my day to day experiences. Going to Martindale Clinic to get help with my addiction was possibly the best choice I've ever made and I've been sober for over 4 years now! To the staff at Martindale Clinic, and especially Jessica Arbogast, I want to say this; Thank You SO Much! You have been key in my life getting so much better, and I will always remember your help and kindness! Please if anyone is looking to get away from their addiction, and improve their life... Please.give Martindale Clinic a chance to help you!

Amethyst Center for Healing, and Jana Fulmer changed my life. As a trans person recovering from trauma, this was a safe haven that is irreplaceable. I was given space and tools to start discovering more about myself and how to grow when in a place of pain. I also really respect what they do— not only working with victims of violence but those who have hurt others. This reparative justice ethos is inspiring and part of a future that focuses on rehabilitation not punitive systems. I’m so much happier with my life, and a lot of that has to do with the empowerment and trust I was given at Amethyst to start making decisions in my life that were more focused and less reactionary. Jana showed true care and empathy towards me, and helped me feel supported and valued. I can’t recommend enough!

I've been going here for about a month now. It's been years since I've gone to a clinic. In the past I haven't had the greatest experiences at clinics due to many factors. Like having too many patients and/or lack of empathy. Their intake processes were always so ridiculous. They would make u jump through 100 hoops just to start dosing. And sometimes if you didn't meet their unrealistic qualifications they would turn u away and tell u to come back another day. But Tranquility Place has put those places to shame! The intake process is easy and painless and goes by quick! They get u to dose right away. They have dr's there each morning to help get u to a comfortable dose. The staff there is beyond helpful, professional, very sweet and personable. Very passionate about what they do there and it shows. Ive never felt judged and I've been met with a lot of compassion. I check in with my counselor maybe once a week for no more than 10-20 min at a time. Groups are available but not mandatory! Each time I dose im in and out in the blink of an eye. There is never a wait time when I come in to dose. I'm finally stable and my quality of life is already improving. I was against going back on methadone for a long time. But if u are anything like me and have had long term issues with opiates and u are considering a clinic, Tranquility Place is the clinic to go to! Trust me!

Please proofread your reviews!! Incoherent rants do not help anyone determine anything about this place, it only makes the reviewer look like an idiot who can’t even write a proper English sentence. You are doing a disservice to everyone who might really need help determining which clinic is right for them. This is a serious medical decision that people are making that could have life and death consequences so please take your reviews more seriously and re-read them for spelling and grammatical errors. Otherwise keep your incomprehensible diatribes to yourself. We will all thank you for your help keeping our Community well.

A loved one went here. One of the better places. They give weekend take-homes right away. One downside is you have to line up at 5:30 am to initially be admitted.

Aloha is such a great clinic. The therapists, Medical Assistants , Front desk and Billing are all so awesome. They answer all my questions and make me feel safe/happy when going into the office. The staff truly cares about their jobs and it shows in how they interact with me and others. They are frequently busy, but I never feel rushed or neglected. The staff always takes care of me, and I am so thankful!

I can’t give this clinic enough stars. My family has been through a lot of trauma and we have been using them for all of our mental health needs and they are always kind, caring and extremely efficient. I don’t feel the need to OVERLY advocate for myself like I do with every other therapist/healthcare provider(s) because they will already be making sure to take that initiative to ask you if you need anything! We specifically love Hilary, Lura, Krista, Mariah, Michelle, EJ, Britney and Angie (essentially the entire team here). I will never go anywhere else!
