So I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back. There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I have developed an intense trust for all clinic employees, never did I think it possible but their techniques are working. Thank you all at Layton CTC

This is an amazing place, from the doctors to the nurses to the counselors. I have never been treated with more respect at any health care facility much less anything addiction related. They never make you feel bad about yourself and treat you with respect. The decision I made to come here was the best decision I've ever made. If you need help, look no further!!

I had such a great experience with Dustin Jasmer. It was my first visit. I felt listened to and understood. Plus his therapy dog put the whole visit over the top.

Jasmer has been incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive, making each visit as stress-free as possible. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality care!

I've been going here for about a month now. It's been years since I've gone to a clinic. In the past I haven't had the greatest experiences at clinics due to many factors. Like having too many patients and/or lack of empathy. Their intake processes were always so ridiculous. They would make u jump through 100 hoops just to start dosing. And sometimes if you didn't meet their unrealistic qualifications they would turn u away and tell u to come back another day. But Tranquility Place has put those places to shame! The intake process is easy and painless and goes by quick! They get u to dose right away. They have dr's there each morning to help get u to a comfortable dose. The staff there is beyond helpful, professional, very sweet and personable. Very passionate about what they do there and it shows. Ive never felt judged and I've been met with a lot of compassion. I check in with my counselor maybe once a week for no more than 10-20 min at a time. Groups are available but not mandatory! Each time I dose im in and out in the blink of an eye. There is never a wait time when I come in to dose. I'm finally stable and my quality of life is already improving. I was against going back on methadone for a long time. But if u are anything like me and have had long term issues with opiates and u are considering a clinic, Tranquility Place is the clinic to go to! Trust me!

Please proofread your reviews!! Incoherent rants do not help anyone determine anything about this place, it only makes the reviewer look like an idiot who can’t even write a proper English sentence. You are doing a disservice to everyone who might really need help determining which clinic is right for them. This is a serious medical decision that people are making that could have life and death consequences so please take your reviews more seriously and re-read them for spelling and grammatical errors. Otherwise keep your incomprehensible diatribes to yourself. We will all thank you for your help keeping our Community well.

A loved one went here. One of the better places. They give weekend take-homes right away. One downside is you have to line up at 5:30 am to initially be admitted.

I graduated from Action in September of 2022 and I will be coming up on 4 years sober. Action literally helped save my life. There weren’t a lot of options for a good aftercare program in the Northern Utah area after I got out of rehab and luckily my rehab recommended Action. They are kind and patient yet most importantly they hold you accountable. If others don’t hold you accountable when it comes to your addiction, it is super hard to stay clean and sober. Action is a 12 step program and I know that might not be for some, but don’t let that scare you. You learn so much more than the steps and take things away from the program that you will continue to use as I have to help keep my sobriety. They also have wonderful classes to help family and friends that are affected by their love ones’ addictions. My parents loved going to family group night and it helped them understand more on why I had an addiction problem which made them more effective tools in my recovery. Remember one day at a time, never quit quitting, you are worth it so work it and you are loved and seen. Want your life back? I highly recommend going to Action.

The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.

I have been seeing Lewis Galway at ABC for 4 years now.He has been a real support system to me.The help I have received through my counseling with Lewis has helped me tremendously.He has helped me navigate through a very trying and painful time in my life.I am forever grateful for the help and guidance I am currently and have in the past received.Lewis is a very caring and insightful person.Lewis has a great deal of knowledge and insight with dealing with addictions.He can make you accountable and caring at the same time.Another thing I have really appreciated is how punctual and dependable Lewis has been .He has been awesome with working with me on the financial side also.I truly feel cared for as a client by Lewis.I would highly recommend Lewis Galway at ABC if your wanting to change for the better and move forward.

This facility is amazing and life changing. I will note it took me going to the Brighton inpatient facility in south Ogden first and following up here to make a difference. My life has completely changed for the better. I had been seeking help for 3 years prior and nothing seemed to work. I was truly at a loss and this was a last ditch effort. I am thankful for Donny Wheat who was so quick to meet me same day I showed interest and had questions about the facility. He has been there every step of the way. I had not had to make any decisions alone nor was I left with any questions. You can tell how much he cares not just about his job but about each individual he comes into contact with. My therapist Becca has been the best therapist I have ever had. It took a few weeks to build a connection but now I feel like she SEES me. She understands me like no other therapist has. I have never felt emotional during a session and lately my sessions are healing parts of me I didn’t know were still unhealed. Amy is super wonderful and knowledgeable and she even runs the alumni group on thursdays. She will make a great SUDC one day! Thankful for this facility. I finally have hope for my future. Highly recommend.

Best program I’ve ever been a part of! They truly care about your recovery and mental health and help you to understand how they are interconnected and how to treat both. They’re not perfect but are always listening to feedback and making improvements. I can’t recommend their PHP and IOP programs enough! Shout out to Keenan who helped me tremendously and has inspired me to go into this field to help others.

Excellent care, and a beautiful facility. Really took the time to include all of the patients in group therapy, and the one-on-one sessions were second to none.

My child suffered a lot of trauma and abuse from his biological family. There have always been a multitude of behaviors we have struggled to work with. We have used and consulted with many specialists and only saw minimal improvements if any over the years. Benchmark was the only facility out of at least 35 contacted nationwide that would accept our son. His therapist met him where he was, established a meaningful relationship, set high expectations and held him accountable for his actions. Communication with the parents from the facility was impeccable, as was the care he received. Our son now has an opportunity to be a self- supporting, happy adult, and family member. He now has the skills and tools he needs to manage his emotions. We will be forever grateful to the entire team at Benchmark, but especially to his therapist.

I cannot recommend Benchmark Behavioral Health enough! They genuinely care about the boys they treat and they made sure that as his parents we were aware of every single thing that was happening with him. I am forever in their debt for the amazing care they provided for him and the life skills they taught him! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Maken the decision to get clean was very scary & something new ! BAART & there staff made it to where I was comfortable and my withdrawals were very mild ! My Wife & I began our journey with the clinic a lil over 2 months ago & TBH I don't even know where to begin to tell people what an amazing program this is!! But hands down, the staff here are literally some of the most amazing people I've been blessed to have contact w/ almost on a daily. Very professional, non judgemental, and great vibes from the lady's that greet you with their smiles & knowledge. Alma, Kevin, & Becca for their amazing peer leadership & understanding, Dr.Le rock's & the 2 awesome nurse's that also leave me with a smile and too their Director that takes you in & guide's you with a big heart & the passion every staff member here has literally makes me wanna be a better me everyday!! I was very happy with the staff at Professional Services. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with my experience, and I also knew that I came to the right place, a place that offered classes/treatment that I had previously never been offered. There was an extremely helpful staff member. She helped me through the process and organized my schedule for me. Not only was she professional, but she was very relatable - I always felt comfortable with her efforts to help me on my journey to sobriety. I never felt judged in any way. I appreciated the instructor Prime For Life classes - she was very helpful, and again, relatable to work with. Another instructor had a great impact on me as well, instructing online classes each week. I learned so much about my addiction in a way I had never discovered before. The different phases of alcoholism were very understandable and easy for me to relate to. I was given hope that I now have the power to turn back, and to not lose the most important things in life!

We had a very nice experience at bear Lake Memorial Hospital when we had a scare with out 3 yr. Both the nurse and Dr were very kind and helped explain everything. 5 star experience all the way through!!

This place is excellent. Becky was wonderful and has extensive experience in dealing with children and really understanding them to help with trauma and coping. She knows great methods to help my child feel comfortable and to allow the space to speak and display what has happened to her. Would highly recommend. Hey and her staff really care for children.
