My present Therapist and also my Doctor here are great. I am very picky about my choices concerning my healthcare, and Brian is very good to listen to what's being said, whether by voice, tone, facial or body language, and assisting me in clarifying and working towards my goals. Dr Shank has throughout the years always been very respectful and truly listened to what I am sharing with her, and helping me find the right treatments for my needs and goals. Update..... I'm with a new therapist since my last review, Brent has been great! He's very detailed, patient, non judgemental, and listens very well. He puts in a lot of effort to help me work towards my personal goals which is great. I still am able to vent, which is actually necessary for me to work towards my goals as I have a lot of issues that I struggle to understand and I am hoping to make progress in order to understand where my faults lay.

Do I mind that my profile will appear in a review for mental healthcare? No, not at all—especially since DBH does such a great job taking care of our family, for both therapeutic and psychiatric interventions! Especially satisfied with their turn-around-time for medication refills!

I've had mixed experiences I absolutely value and respect every therapist I've been in contact with for family therapy. They have been a staple in my life to help keep it all together while I feel everything has been falling apart. There is only so much a therapist can do but when they help you really get your life back together through extremely hard times some people have gone above and beyond heling me navigate a system that gave me failure after failure and I think that is something to say about their Employment and Education counseling.

So I've been on methadone before and tried getting off it cold turkey and if I can give any advice don't! Be patient and do it slow by tappering and just trust the program, I went two months in complete hell withdrawing that was beyond fun, I tried going to my original clinic but they couldn't take new patients so I came here, Mary is my counselor and she made me feel very respected and she was extremely caring and listened and just made the whole process very easy, I highly recommend this clinic if you are struggling and need help, utah is extremely hard getting this kind of help and its hard finding people who actually care and listen, dr Stephen is also very compassionate and listen as well, thanks for all your help I feel my life already getting back on track.

From the Nurses. THERAPISTS, Doctors and even to the other patients. This place WILL help you ... while there is no silver bullet cure the facility in Layton has the knowledge and experience to treat each patient just as the individual benefits the most from. I include my name because these folks have given me the active life I want back. There is no one correct answer for a person who is struggling with substance abuse. The staff at Layton CTC do work together hourly I've noticed to make a real plan likely to work for each Patient. I have developed an intense trust for all clinic employees, never did I think it possible but their techniques are working. Thank you all at Layton CTC

This is an amazing place, from the doctors to the nurses to the counselors. I have never been treated with more respect at any health care facility much less anything addiction related. They never make you feel bad about yourself and treat you with respect. The decision I made to come here was the best decision I've ever made. If you need help, look no further!!

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

We recently had the opportunity to work alongside Spirit Mountain Recovery | Men's Addiction Treatment, installing a wall charger at their facility. Although we haven't personally utilized their recovery services, our interactions with Matthew and the team left a significant impression. From the initial contact, it was clear that Spirit Mountain Recovery isn't just another treatment center—they're a dedicated team of good, honest, hard-working individuals genuinely invested in their clients' well-being. As a small business ourselves, we deeply appreciate partnering with other small businesses committed to making a meaningful impact. Working together to make their property more energy-efficient, ensuring they can maintain critical resources during power outages, reinforced our respect for their forward-thinking and caring approach. What truly stood out was speaking with their investors and owners, many of whom openly shared, "I've gone through the program myself." That speaks volumes about the authenticity, dedication, and effectiveness of the services offered here. We have immense respect for organizations like Spirit Mountain Recovery, whose team members actively work on personal growth while genuinely helping others. We highly recommend them—not just for their mission, but for their genuine character and integrity. We at Halo Hybrid Solutions are looking forward to working with you on your energy backup and storage.

Spirit Mountain Recovery was nothing short of a life saver for me. Before arriving, I was the kind of guy who thought he knew everything, no one could tell me anything new or how I needed to live my life. But this place gently but powerfully shifted that mindset. Through their guidance, I’ve moved from someone stuck in his ways to someone who is open, growing, and learning every single day. My experience at Spirit Mountain was fresh and a transformation. It wasn’t just another treatment program for me, it was a complete reset for my life. The environment, the staff, and the support system created a space where I could dig deep, challenge old beliefs, and start building a better version of myself. Most importantly, Spirit Mountain didn’t just give me the tools for sobriety, they gave me tools to grow as a man and to deepen my spiritual life. Today I’m working everyday to walk a path that’s grounded in purpose and faith, and I’m incredibly grateful for the role this recovery center played in that journey. Thank you, Spirit Mountain Recovery

I've been going here for about a month now. It's been years since I've gone to a clinic. In the past I haven't had the greatest experiences at clinics due to many factors. Like having too many patients and/or lack of empathy. Their intake processes were always so ridiculous. They would make u jump through 100 hoops just to start dosing. And sometimes if you didn't meet their unrealistic qualifications they would turn u away and tell u to come back another day. But Tranquility Place has put those places to shame! The intake process is easy and painless and goes by quick! They get u to dose right away. They have dr's there each morning to help get u to a comfortable dose. The staff there is beyond helpful, professional, very sweet and personable. Very passionate about what they do there and it shows. Ive never felt judged and I've been met with a lot of compassion. I check in with my counselor maybe once a week for no more than 10-20 min at a time. Groups are available but not mandatory! Each time I dose im in and out in the blink of an eye. There is never a wait time when I come in to dose. I'm finally stable and my quality of life is already improving. I was against going back on methadone for a long time. But if u are anything like me and have had long term issues with opiates and u are considering a clinic, Tranquility Place is the clinic to go to! Trust me!

Please proofread your reviews!! Incoherent rants do not help anyone determine anything about this place, it only makes the reviewer look like an idiot who can’t even write a proper English sentence. You are doing a disservice to everyone who might really need help determining which clinic is right for them. This is a serious medical decision that people are making that could have life and death consequences so please take your reviews more seriously and re-read them for spelling and grammatical errors. Otherwise keep your incomprehensible diatribes to yourself. We will all thank you for your help keeping our Community well.

I recently had a teen come here in the summer, in May. I have also had a child come here before, three years ago. Both times were very positive and the staff did very well. They have an excellent Inpatient Program, with different levels of progression that works really well (prudently structured and effective). The meals and facilities are great. The staff that deals directly with Inpatients are very good at what they do. The counseling they offered is by professionals who are outstanding at what they do. A lot of the things learned during the time my teens have been there have stuck with them and they still use that knowledge today--One of our teens went through the YRT program-- I hope to never have to bring another family member again to Inpatient Care. However, if I did, it would be to The Hunstman Mental Institute. They are very good.

Action Recovery Group is a treatment center located in Ogden, Utah. They specialize in treating adults and veterans who are struggling with co-occurring conditions and substance use disorders. Their location north of Salt Lake City provides beautiful sunsets and mountain views. Between treatment sessions you can go camping at Fort Buenaventura Park
I graduated from Action in September of 2022 and I will be coming up on 4 years sober. Action literally helped save my life. There weren’t a lot of options for a good aftercare program in the Northern Utah area after I got out of rehab and luckily my rehab recommended Action. They are kind and patient yet most importantly they hold you accountable. If others don’t hold you accountable when it comes to your addiction, it is super hard to stay clean and sober. Action is a 12 step program and I know that might not be for some, but don’t let that scare you. You learn so much more than the steps and take things away from the program that you will continue to use as I have to help keep my sobriety. They also have wonderful classes to help family and friends that are affected by their love ones’ addictions. My parents loved going to family group night and it helped them understand more on why I had an addiction problem which made them more effective tools in my recovery. Remember one day at a time, never quit quitting, you are worth it so work it and you are loved and seen. Want your life back? I highly recommend going to Action.

The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.

I can’t give this clinic enough stars. My family has been through a lot of trauma and we have been using them for all of our mental health needs and they are always kind, caring and extremely efficient. I don’t feel the need to OVERLY advocate for myself like I do with every other therapist/healthcare provider(s) because they will already be making sure to take that initiative to ask you if you need anything! This facility is amazing and life changing. I will note it took me going to the Brighton inpatient facility in south Ogden first and following up here to make a difference. My life has completely changed for the better. I had been seeking help for 3 years prior and nothing seemed to work. I was truly at a loss and this was a last ditch effort. I am thankful for Donny Wheat who was so quick to meet me same day I showed interest and had questions about the facility. He has been there every step of the way. I had not had to make any decisions alone nor was I left with any questions. You can tell how much he cares not just about his job but about each individual he comes into contact with. My therapist Becca has been the best therapist I have ever had. It took a few weeks to build a connection but now I feel like she SEES me. She understands me like no other therapist has. I have never felt emotional during a session and lately my sessions are healing parts of me I didn’t know were still unhealed. Amy is super wonderful and knowledgeable and she even runs the alumni group on thursdays. She will make a great SUDC one day! Thankful for this facility. I finally have hope for my future. My child suffered a lot of trauma and abuse from his biological family. There have always been a multitude of behaviors we have struggled to work with. We have used and consulted with many specialists and only saw minimal improvements if any over the years. Benchmark was the only facility out of at least 35 contacted nationwide that would accept our son. His therapist met him where he was, established a meaningful relationship, set high expectations and held him accountable for his actions. Communication with the parents from the facility was impeccable, as was the care he received. Our son now has an opportunity to be a self- supporting, happy adult, and family member. He now has the skills and tools he needs to manage his emotions. We will be forever grateful to the entire team at Benchmark, but especially to his therapist.

I was very happy with the staff at Professional Services. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with my experience, and I also knew that I came to the right place, a place that offered classes/treatment that I had previously never been offered. There was an extremely helpful staff member. She helped me through the process and organized my schedule for me. Not only was she professional, but she was very relatable - I always felt comfortable with her efforts to help me on my journey to sobriety. I never felt judged in any way. I appreciated the instructor Prime For Life classes - she was very helpful, and again, relatable to work with. Another instructor had a great impact on me as well, instructing online classes each week. I learned so much about my addiction in a way I had never discovered before. The different phases of alcoholism were very understandable and easy for me to relate to. I was given hope that I now have the power to turn back, and to not lose the most important things in life!

We were just visiting Elevations for a 2 days orientation and 2 days kid visit. We were very impressed with the Facility, and the professionalism of the therapists, and other stuff members. The way how they address the kids, and communicate with them shows that they really care for them. The kids looked pretty comfortable as well. The Facility is very safe, and there are many safety precautions in place ensuring the well-being of the kids.We have seen a lot of adorable dogs (every therapists has dogs) mingling with the kids, and the kids loved to pet them.We loved the Library, the School, the Cafeteria, where we were invited to have dinner with our kids.I wish, the kids could spend more time outside in the surrounding grassy areas in between the buildings. However, we understood that there were contraction workers fixing some areas, so for safety reasons the kids could not spend more time outside. This will change, once the contraction is over. All together we have only good things to say about "Elevations".
