Ginger, Grace, Shelby, Collete, and Kylie were my favorite techs and helped me so maybe times in residential. It wasn’t exactly paradise but it has really changed me. S Ss 3 months ago I took a picture of the QR code from my counselors office and I was to afraid sadly to post my real name here because of fear of what other might think. I might change it bit for now it will be just Staying Sober. I started in Orem 5 years ago I think it. I was on probation then. I had 15 years hanging over my head. I had lost my wife and kids because I just kept disappearing. I was suicidal and failed in IOP and Residential. Every time I came in there to the Orem Clinic people were talking to me. People were stopping me, asking me how I was. Encouraging me to go to group, meet with my counselor. I got mad and I was resistant and resentful even hateful Emily and Josh would know it. They were patient and determined and kind and they helped me find hope and reason to live. I am going to be maybe in the next year tapered out. This place is incredible. I cant thank you all enough. They have always been very understanding, and actually give a shit about their patients and their well being… unlike other places (down the street). They always have a smile and it’s not like you’re walking into jail to get medicine. They have helped me tremendously… and I’m sure have saved countless of others lives. All the staff are awesome, Sean is a stud, and they actually care about what direction you’re headed, instead of just wanting money. They aren’t perfect, but I have seen a few meltdowns from patients the staff didn’t deserve. But im pretty thorough with customer service because it’s my career. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else, if you are trying to get your life back! I have been to quite a few treatment centers and Steps stands at the top of all. Their therapist and faculty genuinely care for their clients and tell them what they need to hear, not necessarily what they want to hear. They know from personal experience the struggles of addiction and helped me break down some serious walls that allowed me to hear the messages needed for me to find a new and much happier way of living.
