When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop's going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don't give up people!

Wonderful clinic with amazing psychologists! Dr. Kohler was a brilliant psychologist and helped me through navigate through the worst time of my life after a traumatic event occurred. I am only sad that he no longer practices. Their waiting rooms are very spacious and have plenty of light which helps ease your anxiety and stress while you wait. They are great at helping you schedule appointments to fit around your work schedule! You can even book appointments out 3 in advance which is quite nice! Each doctor is different in how they set their own schedule for the days/hours in which they work though, so do keep that in mind when you're researching a particular psychologist at their practice that you'd like to make an appointment to see. If you do not have a referral from your PCP (primary care physician) or elsewhere (such as the emergency room, etc) you might be in for a bit of a long wait. It could be 3+ weeks or likely much more to be able to even get scheduled to have just your initial appointment for your evaluation with a psychologist, which from what I remember with Dr. Kohler was significantly more money/a higher copay than the regular therapy visits are. But it is *definitely* well worth every penny!!! I had different insurance with my work the year before I started seeing Dr. Kohler and had to see a therapist at Burrell and I can honestly say that I felt like I walked into a really bad section of Commercial Street after dark... And when I started to have a severe panic attack the therapist at Burrell did nothing to try to get my breathing stabilized or to try to get me back to any kind of a calm state, nor did he even offer me a single tissue and I was hysterically crying... It was completely inhumane... But here it is completely different! They genuinely care and show genuine compassion for their patients. I will never be able to repay Dr. Kohler for how much he has helped me. He was my favorite therapist.

Springfield, MO | Located in Springfield, Missouri is the Lakeland Behavioral Health System. The services here include inpatient, residential, and outpatient care programs. While their programs primarily | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have to admit Lakeland has problems. But I wont discredit the help I received there. Yes at times it could be very traumatic but through that I learned how to handle real world stressers. I learned life isn't perfect there. I also learned how to focus on myself. There was some rude staff but what can you expect when they are literally trained to be that way. Not to mention the place is severly understaffed so there would be the same three staff doing doubles back to back. But thats besides the point. Here are my honorable mentions Mr.Daniel, Ms.Annisa, Ms.Amy, Ms.Maggie, Mr.Chandler, Mr.Jacob, Ms.Christina who is one of the best therapists I've ever had ( she honestly deserves a raise) all the people I've mentioned if they still work there they deserve a raise. also the unit manager Ms.Reba for serenity which is where I resided also deserves a raise. Also if anyone from the big bosses sees this i would like to advocate for anyone who is in there at the moment. We need better phase work like something that attains to each individual person. Also the raising our hands to speak to a staff member and asking to approach is just Ludacris you know why, We are human we are social creatures. And I have trouble even speaking to people now because I feel I have to say silent or ask to speak. Anyways the place does help if you let it. I hope Lakeland gets better and continues to help people like me.❤️

For the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of providing counseling services at Lakeland, and I truly love my job. The staff and children I work with make this place special, and I take great pride in the work we do to support children, teens, and their families. Every day, I walk into the facility with one goal - to make a positive impact on someone's life.
I work hard, as do my colleagues, and I want to emphasize that the dedicated staff at Lakeland are not defined by the incidents that may be sensationalized in the media. Unfortunately, where there are children, there will always be those who seek to harm them, and no facility is immune to that reality. However, we remain committed to providing a safe, supportive and healing environment. It is important to recognize the meaningful and life-changing work being done here every day.

All the staff are always so nice and helpful, regardless if it is over the phone or in person. I have been working with them for just shy of a year and have always had a positive experience. I recommend them to everyone I know that asks about counseling services. When I started back in therapy I was extremely nervous since I have had less than helpful experiences in the past. In the waiting room you feel more like home than at a doctor's office which helped so much with my anxiety about it! Its programs span partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient care, using evidence-based therapies such as CBT and DBT for both substance us | Treatments Payment Options | To say the least, this was an incredible, life changing experience and program. To mean the most: I am grateful this entire team and community for saving my life and helping me save my life. I needed to take time and see the “more” that life had to offer. Even low times don’t have to be tear downs, I was taught the tools to accept the present and do the next right thing. For myself first and then for my surrounds and people. I learned the blessing of faith again and reignited my passions for music, art, and writing. I was in the darkest mindset and on the darkest path in my entire life. But there is something worth saving about my life, about the people around me, around the life to YET be inspired. Springfield is the 327th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $50778. This is lower than the average cost of $56782 for addiction treatment in Missouri and lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Springfield vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Springfield. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Springfield that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Springfield.
UnitedHealth Group is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Springfield, with 20 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 17 treatment centers accepting it followed by Mercy Care in 3rd accepted by 17 drug rehabs.
Springfield has the 148th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Greene county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Springfield or Greene county as a whole.
In 2023, Springfield had the 70th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 974 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Springfield. All values are per 100,000 population.
