UPDATE SINCE BELOW REVIEW: I went into office again today and Kim took great care of us. Found out case worker had been on vacation. New Peer worker called immediately and made arrangements. Thank you. It is encouraging now. I give Derrick the assessor 5.0, but after the assessment we were told my son would be contacted within 24 hrs. 24 hours no contact, next day no contact. I've gone in office to inquire, told case worker would call. 2 additional phone calls...still no help. My son was so encouraged during accessment. Now I have to tell him no one there cares!! Btw...also left voice mail on case worker's phone...still nothing.

I checked myself into the Cox North treatment center about 2010. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I'd have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop's going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don't give up people! Rick Byrd

I truly cannot say enough good things about this facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt loved, cared for, heard, and supported. The staff, RAs, therapists, and my peers all played such an important role in making my experience what it was, and I will forever be grateful for each and every one of them. I flew from Alabama and there is no other place I would rather go. This is honestly one of the best recovery centers in the country. Heidi, in particular, had such an impact on me. She quickly became one of my favorite people there, and I genuinely cannot put into words how much I value her. She made me feel seen, cared about, and understood during moments when I really needed it. She was more than someone just doing their job. The therapists here are truly out of this world. I was thankful to share my time there with Shae. She is a kick ass therapist who helped heal me in so many way. They genuinely care about each individual person there. I always felt listened to and understood, and I never felt like just another patient. The facility itself is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a place where you can actually heal. The director is such a warm-hearted soul who genuinely cares about every single individual who walks through those doors. You can feel how much heart and thought she has put into creating such a beautiful place for people to come and heal. Synergy I truly thank you for everything you did for me. I came here at a point when I needed help more than ever, and I’m leaving with a completely different outlook on myself, my life, and my future! Five stars doesn't feel like enough!

The highly trained staff, consisting of therapists, instructors, and medical personnel are committed to helping you get to the root of your issues and coming up with solutions. I was not able to find that prior to my stay at Synergy. The facility is beautiful and accommodations warm and comfortable. The experience at Synergy changed my life!

Synergy definitely has been a lifesaver for me. I have been in recovery for 3 years and all the kind people havw been so helpful I dont know where I'd be without them. If your child’s reactive behaviors keep your family in safety protocols, constant crisis and recovery cycles, inpatient and short-term residential placements that are not making a dent, then CALO is the place to explore as the solution you’ve been praying for. We utilized every service our state and local community: offered mental health services, behavioral health services, in-home support, wrap around, inpatient, short-term residential over night staff in our home, and still our family was unstable without solutions to actually help our child heal his complex PTSD from his foster youth abuse history. 2025-2026 Calo staff is responsive and transparent with parents. Amazing team leads who are passionate about their work saving these kids lives by providing a safe space for them to heal in positive relationships. Therapy team is top notch with people moving their families to Lake Ozark to do this special work. Our son is safe and well connected and moving forward in his healing in ways we could not support at home: multiple therapy groups, family therapy, individual therapy, Neurofeedback, animal assisted therapy and OT. The school teachers are the best and this is the first school where our son is actually participating in academics! Our son is having so much fun (it’s like summer camp all year round), he did not realize how much time had passed. He also says he enjoys school! That is a HUGE win! We have seen measurable progress in his self regulation and safety. I LOVE the family days when we parents are on campus and in the kid’s homes doing activities together.

I'm glad I didn't let the bad reviews keep me from getting help with the Burrell Connection Center. Went in at 1pm and was through the initial process of checking insurance, getting basic information about the visit and scheduling with an evaluator within the hour. Everyone was very nice and made the process very easy. Already did an at home telehealth visit with the evaluator by 3 and then got a call from a scheduler before 5. I'm very impressed. Thanks Laura Adam's and everyone else for making this process easy for us 🙏

Only for the fact the switchboard operator tabby is the only person who has gone above and beyond for me . Otherwise getting answers , asking for a transfer of psych dr it was sent to the wrong department and all anyone wanted to do was not answer or call back I went from 60mg of Prozac to nothing for 3 weeks because of a mistake in their end. But I was referred to crisis because I was crying for any one to understand

This place is probably one of the best places for mental health and addictions centers . These people go the extra mile to help you succeed in life even with the added problems a person might have or be going through . I appreciate the services provided to us thru various places like probation and parole and cox health and even the police and fire men who might have thought about getting a person some much needed assistance . If anyone deserves a 6 star rating it's this place . Thanks everyone who puts forth a big heart to the Springfield community .

My Experience at Perimeter Behavioral Health Working at Perimeter Behavioral Health has been an incredibly rewarding experience. While it's true that the nature of our work often calls for overtime, the feeling of looking at my check and knowing the impact I'm making makes every extra hour absolutely worth it. The company has implemented many positive changes, especially when it comes to bonus incentives, which are a true motivator and show that our hard work is genuinely appreciated. The relationships among staff here are fantastic; we truly operate as a cohesive team, supporting each other and fostering a collaborative environment. One of the things I love most is that every day is different. This keeps the work engaging and ensures we're constantly learning and adapting. This place and the staff here have been a gift of God's mercy to me. I came out of prison with just the clothes on my feet. I have to admit Lakeland has problems. But I wont discredit the help I received there. Yes at times it could be very traumatic but through that I learned how to handle real world stressers. I learned life isn't perfect there. I also learned how to focus on myself. There was some rude staff but what can you expect when they are literally trained to be that way. Not to mention the place is severly understaffed so there would be the same three staff doing doubles back to back. But thats besides the point. Here are my honorable mentions Mr.Daniel, Ms.Annisa, Ms.Amy, Ms.Maggie, Mr.Chandler, Mr.Jacob, Ms.Christina who is one of the best therapists I've ever had ( she honestly deserves a raise) all the people I've mentioned if they still work there they deserve a raise. also the unit manager Ms.Reba for serenity which is where I resided also deserves a raise. Also if anyone from the big bosses sees this i would like to advocate for anyone who is in there at the moment. We need better phase work like something that attains to each individual person. Also the raising our hands to speak to a staff member and asking to approach is just Ludacris you know why, We are human we are social creatures. And I have trouble even speaking to people now because I feel I have to say silent or ask to speak. Anyways the place does help if you let it. I hope Lakeland gets better and continues to help people like me.❤️
