This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

This is my third time having acupuncture battlefield.Acupuncture, where they put five different acupuncture needles in each of my ears.This is my third size needle.I went up to the one point five.Do you have a little pain on the left side?Can't touch one of the needles.We'll see what happens supposed to let these stay in 4 3 2 4 days.Seems to be working with the pain this time I'll wait and see

Absolutely life saving . This is an amazing program ,with amazing people helping rebuild lives from the ground up . I was homeless while pregnant and addicted to shooting drugs . At 5 months pregnant my heart failed and I was rushed to st. Louis, Missouri, all alone ,pregnant and about to die. Due to my condition that I had created via my addiction . I underwent Open heart surgery .I survived 2 months later in the hospital, no one was waiting for me after my discharge from hospital. I was homeless in a city unknown to me and due to have a baby in a few months .Queen of Peace took me in, and was waiting for me when I got there even paid for me an Uber from hospital to cathedral towers. I have God to thank for giving me Queen of Peace . Thank you .

Call this guy now!" So I call this guy, yes I have houses for you....so im thinking okay perfect right? I send the deposit to the guy and he says perfect I'll bring your keys and paperwork tomorrow morning. Well maybe you can all see where this is going....no call...blocked...reach out to concordance for help...."oh so sorry that happened...good luck...that guy has nothing to do with our program. " really, well why hand out his flyer like candy? Are they receiving kick backs? Reports made EVERYWHERE!!!!! GOOD LUCK! IF YOU GO HERE BEWARE OF SCAMS!!!!!!

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

I used to be depressed and suicidal, but now I'm only a little depressed and not suicidal at all. Tysm ilysm. And I hope you still have that picture of you. I'm crying rn if you actually respond. 🥰🥰🥰 I really want to go back even though I'm all better. If you have any suicidal thoughts go see a counselor, or go to mercy/ hospital but only if you don't feel safe at home. Don't make suicide into a joke. It's a serious thing. I have been to this office a few times now and the staff and doctors are terrific! If you have an appointment they are 100% on time as long as you are. Very comfortable environment!

At least once a year we get to come over to this clinic for annual wellness exams. I've always found everybody here to be downright helpful professional courteous and efficient. It may have time seem like there's a lot of folks in the waiting room but they move along pretty swiftly, and you can always count on good conversation while you're waiting 😁

SSM Rehabilitation Hospital has to be the BEST CHOICE for PT and OT in the St. Louis area. I cannot imagine any other facility would be as thorough, caring, and determined to get me back to 'normal' after my surgery and hospital stay. I have to name the EXCELLENT staff by name as the TRUE heroes need to be recognized. First, the outstanding nursing staff; Winnie, Elham, Lem Lem, Krystal, and Shayla (Shay). They were very attentive and never ONCE made me feel that I was 'bothering' them even when I needed them at midnight or noon. The techs that went beyond the call of duty and must be named are Lyn - who was always friendly and smiling. This can make a person's day when spending multiple days in a facility. Also, Lea and An'drea were cheerful and attentive. These employees seem to truly LOVE what they do! Thanks to all them! Thanks to SSM Rehab Hospital for hiring people who really CARE about your patients! Physical Therapy Staff I need to recognize are Megan who was my primary therapist. She was so supportive, understanding, and encouraging. She knew exactly what I needed and 'PUSHED' me to go further and do more than I thought I could! Jeremy and Candace stand out as techs who were there when they were needed and went beyond the call of duty to serve their patients. I will never forget their kindness. The entire staff was so supportive! Amy, my case manager, was very helpful and set up everything for my return home. She was there to keep me informed. At the time of my illness, Amy was working alone as they were short handed in the Case Management department. She was managing everyone on the floor. Although I have not personally needed their services, I have acquaintances who were very fortunate to have been helped by ARCA. I was also lucky enough to have been invited to the premiere of the movie Antagonist. I entered harris house on january first this year... i didnt know what to expect when i entered. had some anxiety. i was there for 3 weeks, everyone was so compationate about my recovery i was impressed by that. i really like the fact that most all the counselors were former addicts themselves, and they knew what we were going through. ginny was my counselor and i met with her once a week. i have had alot of grief in my family. i lost 3 brothers. one at 22, the other at 37, and my other brother at 63. here at harris house, they gave me some tools to deal with my loss..i started drinking at age 18, until i got married at 30. i was sober for 14 years while married to my wife. well after we divorced i began drinking pretty much every day...well long story short, i had had enough of the damn alcohol and decided to get help. i just am so glad for harris house and how you all helped me...so thanks to you and your staff, i can get my life together sober. thank you so much and please keep helping others.. oh and by the way, the food is great as well...thank you.. signed jeff vance

food is trash but what to you expect, bring you're own pillow and blanket if you can the stuff they give you is worse than bob barker. i`d buy the pillow and blanket brand new if you can or they might not allow you to bring it in they wash all used items you bring in so if its some huge comforter leave it at home I doubt that will slide. think small if you cant buy brand new. they have TVs with DVD players and movies to skim though, had roku while I was there may or may not still be around. there is a smoking section, you go as a group every couple hours. buy brand new packs of cigs before you enter open packs are not allowed. Other than those obvious flaws, flaws you would find everywhere. the staff were respectful and caring. This place is doing its part in saving peoples lives the staff are nice as long as you make an effort, they know you are going though a tough time you won't be forced to do anything if you don't want to, could be 7 days in bed only need to get up to do meds and heart rate readings. Would recommend to anyone.

I love my social worker Shalonda Card. You only get out what you put in when it comes to your case management. I was housing insecure for a period of time and couch surfing and she was able to hook me up with resources until I was able to mediate my living situation. I do know other unhoused people have issues with other social workers, while that needs to be fixed, my social worker is proactive and attentive to my needs as a patient. I do wish that they had more PSR groups in the evening because College conflicts with that. They don't have evaluations at thus office, I know Social Workers can hook you up with people within the network who can but that's my only gripe. Do keep in mind if you use pot or anything they can't prescribe controlled substances, luckily my General Practitioner knows I've been on my ADHD medicine for years and is willing to prescribe it. I have treatment resistant depression and I know that there's a controlled substance which is a psychiatric that helps treat depression and C-PTSD that I am interested in, and while they can't prescribe that for me specifically Shalonda ADAPT and CHN will help you coordinate care to ensure you have a psychiatrist who can offer you psychiatric treatment even if its not through the psychiatrists at ADAPT.

I am grateful for McCallum Place and the staff and patients who were there for my daughter. I encourage anyone dealing with the an eating disorder to go to McCallum Place. My daughter absolutely loved the staff and patients. She said it was soo hard to eat everything served, but really liked the menu! The fact that there is a team of professionals to help her was such a plus. Even though she has a ways to go with recovery, she was still able to gain some pounds and learn valuable info. I had a great experience at Centrec care. Fighting alcoholism was very tough on my own and Centrec care taught me the tools and coping skills I needed to strive and thrive in life. After only 4 months of IOP I was able to kick drinking and have been sober for 5 months. I recommend this place for a great community and people you can trust! No complaints
