The mental health program here is absolutely wonderful. The staff is compassionate and sincerely care about their patients. My nurses Bob, Alyssa, Jennifer, Annie, Jordan (and many more overnight nurses as well as doctors) were absolutely the best!! The recreational therapist Elisa was literally sunshine in human form.

I was hospitalized here for a week. I was desperate and about to take my own life. This place, and the staff truly saved me. I know I was a much easier case than many of my fellow patients, but without the staff and the doctors help to stabilize my mental health and medication, I may not be here today.
If you're struggling mentally, the fact that they have a mental health emergency room is SO SIGNIFICANT. My experience with the staff, the facilities, even the food was so much better than I ever expected.

Insynergy is an excellent program. I found it to be a highly personalized and comprehensive program. Dr. Taca and staff are caring and compassionate. Alcohol is a tough substance to quit and Insynergy gave me the tools to do just that. I’m on my way to 4 years sobriety thanks to them.

I joined INSynergy in April 2019. This practice is TRULY personalized as advertised. I felt that I was treated as a person, in addition to being a patient. Kindness, compassion, empathy, was what I received from the professional staff. When I “slipped” from sobriety on occasion, I was not judged. I felt that the staff was there to listen, to offer suggestions on what my triggers were for these slips. I have always thought that alcoholism is a disease. For me, recovery is a health issue, not a moral issue as I used to find in some 12 step programs. I am truly impressed by the programs, both individual and group which INSynergy offers. I have met lovely people who share my frustration with the disease. It feels good not to be alone. I had a great experience at Centrec care. Fighting alcoholism was very tough on my own and Centrec care taught me the tools and coping skills I needed to strive and thrive in life. This place is amazing and truly transforms lives. I witnessed it first hand with my cousin Matt. They reach the least and the last. The ones that most in society has given up on. They show them a l other way to live, and most importantly how to honor God! Some sober living places, and second chance places are a money grab, but I can honestly say Rick and Trish is the real deal! God is using them both as a vessel to love those who feel hopeless.

I have been to other locations specifically a neighboring county and I would say the Troy location has gone above and beyond my expectations based on my previous experiences in other locations. They are all very friendly, understanding, and even got me in quickly when I missed an appointment. Natasha is awesome nurse Bethany is great and the drs, therapists, front desk, and counselors are all really friendly and as accommodating as they can be! My first time visiting JC VA medical facility was truthfully the highlight of my day. Valet members were so helpful and were insistent on putting a smile on my face before even entering the building. I needed water and the woman running the cafe at the front of the main building gave me ice cold water free of charge. I was reading signs trying to figure out where to go on the first and second floor, and each time, a VA team member stopped to help direct me. I had multiple appointments here that day and every provider was so attentive to my questions and helpful with directing me where to go next or what to expect. I look forward to whenever I have to come back and couldn't express the gratitude I felt for the staff at this hospital during my visit!!

I am updating my review because it is no longer relevant. I am very sad to hear that the director John is retiring; he is a wonderful, caring person.
Some tips: they only check bills with a marker that only detects the presence of starch. This only works to ID fake bills that have been printed off of somebody's HP or Lexmark onto cheap printer paper. even accidentally washing your pants with a 20 in the pocket will be enough to "set off" their pens. Bills made priot to 1973 also automatically fail. Because counterfeiters often use bleached, real $1 bills, not only are they vulnerable to larceny, but false positives left me and others feeling judged and unable to dose. I acquired easy to read posters and literature from the St Louis Department of Revenue for local businesses to detect counterfeit currency and distributed them to every window. They did not use them or even try the many ways the US Treasury advises to detect fake currency (microprinting, watermark, texture of raised ink, security thread, color-shifting print, etc.) Implying I have a 65 ton printing press in my basement but used a $1.99 ream from Kinko's.
Speaking of money, they do not take change (coins)and nor do neighboring businesses. They also may not reinmburse you if you don't have the correct bills for exact change.
Counselors are a hit and miss. I have encountered 12 steppers who are proud to treat a disease the same exact way for a near century and are quick to blame you if AA doesn't help, never the program. Even if you have been repeatedly victimized by 13th steppers. Imagine if an antibiotic failed to cure your infection. Would your doctor say you have moral failings and give you more of the same antibiotic? No. Some counselors here do know about smart recovery and other, actually helpful, programs. Do not be afraid to find someone who works.

St Clare Hospital in Fenton is definitely the best hospital in the St Louis area. I have been there for outpatient surgery several times in the past and the doctor and staff were great. This year in April and July, Dr. Palmer performed knee replacements on both of my knees. The check-in staff was organized and efficient, no unnecessary chitchat. Once admitted into the surgical prep area, I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, and their experience and expertise made me feel less anxious and more comfortable about the surgery. Both times I stayed overnight and I was treated extremely well. The anesthesiologists, nurses, and doctors were professional and treated me with great care, respect, and empathy. Even the occupational and physical therapists showed sincere concern and understanding, and provided clear instructions to adhere to the exercises once released. The rooms are private and well furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is extremely clean and sanitary, which shows even the janitorial staff are well skilled and care about other's wellbeing. Honestly, I would recommend this hospital and it's staff for any surgery! Just know in the past three years, I have personally required three major surgeries and inpatient hospitalizations in another very well known nationally acclaimed hospital in St Louis and I didn't receive exceptional care that came anywhere close to St Clare Hospital. At St Clare you are treated like a person and not just a number. Kudos to all caregivers at all institutions, but unfortunately management controls the care patients receive. St Clare Hospital must be managed by saints!

Excellent and attentive staff and patient care! I presented in the ER this past Tuesday with the beginning of Shingles. I was triaged immediately and treated by the NP without hesitation!
I ended up back in the ER early Thursday morning in excruciating pain due to the Shingles virus. Once again, they remembered me, had nothing but compassion for my current situation and took me to a room immediately! The nurses were absolutely amazing (I was in the worst pain that I could ever remember). She got me changed, set up in the bed and immediately started to assess as well as starting my IV and doing all they could to comfort me.
I want to give a special THANK YOU to Dr. Ian Ferguson. He was beyond anything I could have hoped for during this crisis of mine 💙 Thank you all so very much! I always have and will continue to recommend St. Clare Hospital to any and all. Simply for the care and compassion they provide! Nothing but EXCELLENCE!!!

food is trash but what to you expect, bring you're own pillow and blanket if you can the stuff they give you is worse than bob barker. i`d buy the pillow and blanket brand new if you can or they might not allow you to bring it in they wash all used items you bring in so if its some huge comforter leave it at home I doubt that will slide. think small if you cant buy brand new. they have TVs with DVD players and movies to skim though, had roku while I was there may or may not still be around. there is a smoking section, you go as a group every couple hours. buy brand new packs of cigs before you enter open packs are not allowed. Other than those obvious flaws, flaws you would find everywhere. the staff were respectful and caring. This place is doing its part in saving peoples lives the staff are nice as long as you make an effort, they know you are going though a tough time you won't be forced to do anything if you don't want to, could be 7 days in bed only need to get up to do meds and heart rate readings. Would recommend to anyone.

Staff was excellent! Loved the dentist and hygienist. Only bad things were location and wait time for appts. Building is super hard to find. It's location is inside a high school. Besides being very hard to find and super long wait times for appts it was a pleasant visit and would recommend to friends and family

I've been going since January and have had a great experience with the people and the clinic as a whole. My 1st day (intake) wasn't a painful drawn out process. It’s not easy to get to this location on public transportation. However the extended hours make it more convenient than most states that close doors by 11am.
The fact that this clinic uses mouth swabs to test ending the humiliating practice of observed UAs is what sets this clinic above the rest.
If you do what you need to raise your privilege level to take home 2weeks to 30 days you won’t have to deal with the wait and chaos of others.

I am so thankful to Teen Challenge!
After only two weeks in the program, God took hold of my heart, and I truly accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That was the moment everything changed for me, and I began to walk out of my new faith. Over the course of a year, all 4 felonies were dropped, my family was restored, and I felt true peace for the first time in my life.
Today I celebrate my 13 years in ministry. God blessed me with a beautiful, godly woman as my wife. I was told many years ago that I could not have children, but God blessed me with a son who is now 5 years old. I also get to serve in the ministry where I met and fell in love with Jesus. Thankful

Love this program. There's so many options. Counselors are amazing, there is classes for several different things. My favorite is Tuesday's women's group. I would recommend this program to anyone that needs help getting any kind of information that you can think of they can help with. The groups are by far my favorite part as I said before the women's group is very helpful.

I've been a client here for years now and we've had our ups and downs. Its luck if the draw and who your case worker is u guess. My experience has been good for the most part over the last three or four years.
They've helped me left and right with many things big and small. I have nothing but giis things to say about them. I see a bjc doctor, get my meds here, attend groups here etc. From I'd organization.
