I can’t say enough about our visit today with our nephew. Our nurse, Sam, in the ER was an absolute Godsend. She is exactly who we needed today; her wisdom was spoken, heard and relevant. She was an angel in scrubs, and I hope you guys realize what a gem you have.

I went to SSM for an accidental overdose for 2 weeks on my ADHD stimulants. The following day my symptoms worsened and I called SSM and they informed me that they did not have a Psychiatrist on staff and I was therefore sent to BJC in Wentzville. Thank God!! Everything about this hospital far exceeded my expectations!! When I got there, I was the only person waiting to be seen! The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and even though he was just trying to get a little basic info., he let me rattle on all my symptoms without interrupting me. After a long period of excessive talking, he gently told me that I could talk about all of this with the Psychiatrist, which put me at ease! I was walked back to a private room which has never happened to me and I have been to many hospitals. I didn’t have to go through triage and my vitals were taken in my room by a super caring lady! The security guard came in and he could not have been any nicer!! He told me everything to expect and went through my bags and sent everything out to the car with my husband except my coat and shoes. He indicated that I could not have my med. Box with me which did scare me because historically I have not been given my meds. Until after seeing the doctor and the pharmacist. He could tell I was nervous and requested that the nurse update me on this procedure. She immediately came in and told me that she had my medication list and I would receive all of my meds. On-time. The doctor came to see me within 30 min. And was the nicest and most informative doctor that I have ever had and spent 30 min. With me giving me all the medical recommendations he had as I also had a severe viral infection causing sores all over my mouth, severe body aches, bruises all over my body, including under my eye. I told him what the 1st hospital had recommended I do, and he informed to stop all of it and that it would only irritate my infection, especially all the over-the-counter items I was using. He spoke with the Psychiatrist and came back to see me again after getting the Psychiatrists course of action, and spent another 30 min. With me extensively answering all of my questions. This was rare because I had a lot and at most hospitals you are lucky to get 10-15 questions with the doctor. The nurse was also very helpful getting me an extra pillow and 4 cups of ice chips because it was was the only thing easing the pain in my mouth. I was quickly discharged feeling like my husband, who stayed with me the whole time, and I could manage my treatment plan!! The best hospital I have ever been to and will never go anywhere else, as well as referring anyone I know with a medical or mental health crisis!!!

I have been going here for 4 years, the doctor in the outpatient office is amazing!! The outpatient therapist all of them are also amazing. The staff does their best to help the people that are willing to take the help. They have not only help me with my PTSD, but they’ve helped my youngest son when he needed it most. I will forever be grateful for the staff and support they give so willingly. Thank you all for helping my family Sincerely, Kelli Ransford

Concordance isn't just a place where people come and sit around. It's a place where people come to learn by receiving new ideas and implementing them in their lives. The program is challenging as it should be wild demanding you to be your absolute best. There are no shortcuts and there are no excuses. Howeve, all of this is complimented with a level of care and consideration by staff who understand the human dilemma as they offer their expertise in wisdom to guide you through it. This is Concordance in essence as it is a place that restores value to the human spirit, the individual an ultimately the community at large. And as a graduate, I encourage anyone who is thinking about becoming a part of the program to do so because you'll find your answers when you least expect them.

I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible care I received from the ED and maternity staff. I didn’t catch the names of the two young ladies at the front, but they were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was directed to the right department. As a high-risk pregnant patient preparing for a trip, I came in seeking reassurance, even though it wasn’t an emergency and they truly advocated for me so I could be seen. That meant more than I can express. Once I was in the maternity ward, I was cared for by Maddy, who was absolutely wonderful. She listened attentively to my concerns, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with such compassion, it really made me feel like what I was experiencing mattered. Medical student Advika was also very sweet. Even though she was observing, she brought warmth to the room and made the experience more personal, we even shared some laughs, which helped ease my nerves. Then Nurse Practitioner Dr. Alex came in and truly exceeded all expectations. She conducted my exam thoroughly, addressed every concern I had, and completely put my mind at ease. On top of that, she took the time to call me the next day to follow up and wish me a safe trip. That level of care and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated. This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital. Because of these amazing women, I’m heading into my trip feeling confident, reassured, and at peace. Thank you all for the exceptional care, you made a lasting impact! I know sometimes DePaul Hospital gets a bad reputation, but there are still some positives at this center.

I have been with CHN since August of 2018. And have been able to be a client of some amazing people. If I could rate higher, I would rate 10\5. CHN employees have saved my life more than once. Some people I would like to thank are: Chad Joyce (relocated), Madi , Heather , and Savana .. (St. Peters), and Jenn J and Jenn K (St. Charles). These people have changed my life in more positive ways I could have ever imagined. I would like to thank them with gifts, but they will not accept them. It is the thought that counts. I'm not very computer savvy so I don't write many reviews, but I have to take a minute to tell you about Kenzie and Heather. I've had quite a few social workers and I never had a peer counselor, but they are top notch and people that need to help others in the social worker and peer counseling field. I was always reluctant to have a social worker because I never had help, but since these two I now have hope for the future. They both are excellent and caring workers that want to make a difference in their patients lives. They made me feel safe and that they wanted me know that I could have faith in living each day with meaning in my life. I just wanted to thank both of them for their outstanding and excellent care. I want to also thank you both for letting me talk about anything I wanted to with you guys. I'll never forget you guys. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you two ❤️❤️❤️

I relapsed with alcohol after a lengthy period of sobriety. I knew I was in trouble and I was consumed with self doubt and shame. I immediately phoned INSYNERGY, where I had previously gotten sober many years before and I had faith they could restore my dignity and sobriety. They did just that and much more. My initial interview was with Matt, who was nonjudgmental and very kind. Then I met with Dr Taca ( who was and is my lifesaver) and staff including Hannah who is an angel dressed in mortal clothing. I decided to sign up for a 3 month treatment plan which included lab work, genetic testing, counseling, group therapy and Vivitrol injections to curb cravings which I utilized previously with excellent results. This time I had my first interaction with Dr Kennedy, an addiction expert, and a kinder woman you will never find; yet she has a superior intellect, a confident demeanor and a very professional attitude . We would meet weekly via zoom in addition to meeting with Dr Taca weekly and group therapy every Friday. All of these treatments work symbolically so that individual goals will be met. I looked so forward to chatting with Dr Kennedy as her advice using cognitive therapy was invaluable. Dr Kennedy also facilitated the group meetings on Friday and I always left feeling uplifted but most importantly, understood. I received 3 Vivitrol injections and terminated my care as I do have many years of past sobriety, and am an active member in good standing in AA The good news is that I can continue with the Friday afternoon “in person “ group meetings as an alum, and wild horses could not keep me away. I have not had a desire to drink, feel supported and would give INSYNERGY an A+ in their unique approach for treatment, working with individualized care. Don’t let shame, confusion or withdrawal symptoms keep you away from treatment. I promise you can find sobriety and peace of mind at INSYNERGY.

I am incredibly grateful for Insynergy and their IOP program—it truly changed my life. The care and dedication of their team—especially Dr. Taca, Dr. Kennedy, and Hannah—supported me through an incredibly difficult season, helping me build a foundation for lasting recovery as my world came back to life. From intake and evaluation, through treatment, and life in recovery, I have felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. Completion of the program did not mark the end of my connection here. I choose to stay engaged in group therapy because the support and sense of belonging are extraordinary, and the clinicians, staff, and the people I’ve had the privilege of walking this journey alongside have made all the difference. Because they look at the full picture, my overall health—both physical and emotional—is better than it has ever been as an adult. I can honestly say I am physically and emotionally sober, something I once thought was impossible. Insynergy didn’t just help me achieve sobriety—they helped me get my life back. I cannot recommend this program enough to anyone seeking real, lasting recovery.

I am so grateful to Crossroads. I didn't know where to go to help my son. The path he was headed down was scary. Everywhere that was recommended to me would not talk to me because he was 18. Crossroads said you get him here we will take it from there. Sure enough not only did they walk my son threw getting sober. They also gave me a support group. We are almost to a year and its the best decision I ever made. Update after being part of this program. I would not choose any where else for my family. Not only do they do outpatient. They do not throw them to the wolves after. They transition to after care. They are teaching kids how to deal with thier emotions and fears without alcohol or drugs. Do fun stuff with out drugs. My experience at Alsana Residential was absolutely amazing! The staff there genuinely cared about me and my recovery. They didn't just do their job they went above and beyond! I am so grateful to my care team there and the DC's that put in the extra effort. There was only one there that I felt cared more about their title than they did about genuinely helping and being a part of the community. I also met some of the best people. Thank you for being a safe place for me , for helping me to see that the apple fell far from the tree, and for showing me that I am human too and deserve the same rights as every other human on this planet! Before Alsana, my daughter was so deep in her eating disorder and co-occurring mental health issues that functioning without these things felt next to impossible. She seemed entrenched in this disorder, and I didn’t know how to get her out. Each time we took her Alsana, they’ve helped pull her out of some of the darkest points of her life so it seemed at the time. The staff and philosophy of Alsana guided me through the ups and downs of early recovery, never giving up when she would stumble. I felt like everyone I met truly cared for her and her recovery. Now, after Alsana, she is living a life of freedom from the grips of this life sucking eating disorder. I was so far gone there was no light at the end of the tunnel and then I found Trish . I applied while incarcerated knowing that I needed something new a new way to live .Mission gate and my relationship with Jesus Christ gave me that . I don't say this lightly I am a literal walking miracle. I owe everything to Trish and Rick. They gave me back everything that I thought was gone forever . Thank you Trish and Rick for all that you do words cannot describe the gratitude I feel for you .

This place is amazing and truly transforms lives. I witnessed it first hand with my cousin Matt. They reach the least and the last. The ones that most in society has given up on. They show them a l other way to live, and most importantly how to honor God! Some sober living places, and second chance places are a money grab, but I can honestly say Rick and Trish is the real deal! God is using them both as a vessel to love those who feel hopeless.

I will never forget you all. Thank you for being a safe place for me , for helping me to see that the apple fell far from the tree, and for showing me that I am human too and deserve the same rights as every other human on this planet! To Tracy, Jojo, Mae, Katrina, Jordan, and Karlie: I am a better person for knowing each of you and you have all touched my soul! I will never forget any of you and what you did for me! You each went out of your way to help me and are amazing people! Thank you for everything you have done! With Love, Ashley Alderson

SHe feels stronger, more capable of dealing with triggers, and more compassionate towards others in a similar spot than ever before. Thank you for giving me my daughter back.

I am a former client who is grateful today that a place like this exists. The staff showed me nothing but love and support. I chose to not take the opportunity of strengthing my leadership quality they presented me with at that time. But, in doing so I now have a beautiful wife coming up on 5 years of marriage and 2 gorgeous daughters to fit. The Farm changed my life and is breathtaking. Out on this beautiful hill they have a great big old Hickory Tree that is split straight down the middle by a bolt of lightning. This place gave me insight into myself that to this day I can recognize thanks to Mr. Chris, Ms. Chels,Mrs. Chelsea, Rockin Rob, Ms. Chenoa, Mr. Bob of course Mr. CLINT and lastly Ms. KAT. The rehab mother of all.

I have quite a bit of experience in behavioral health - both as an employee and as a patient. Despite the cons listed below, this is a 4+ star facility for the treatment they provide, compared to my experience with other programs. I'm giving it 5 stars here because the review doesn't allow half stars, so I'm rounding up. First the pros: * The intake dept at the hospital for BH is on a walk in basis which makes it easy to get care exactly when needed. * The psychiatrist Dr. Qaisrani spent nearly 45 min assessing my concerns on my first day inpatient, then spent considerable time each day helping create a collaborative treatment plan with me and my spouse. * Many of the nurses and other staff really cared about patients. * Therapy groups are mostly helpful with good information. * Social workers are diligent about following up with family for discharge planning. * The inpatient unit has daily visiting hours from 4-5pm. * Patients can choose their meals from several options for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually eggs, bacon, sausage and some kind of carb - toast, biscuit, oatmeal, and French Toast. * There were many snack options available and 3 set snack times in addition to the 3 meals. * Good selection of puzzles, games, word searches, coloring sheets, playing cards, etc. * LGBTQ friendly and pro trans supportive to me. I was also allowed to continue my HRT during my stay. Staff seemed genuinely to try to get pronouns right, not 100%, but very apologetic when they slipped up. Several other patients had different preferred names and staff were 100% in using the preferred names. * The TV is available 630am-1030pm (off during groups), a good variety of cable channels available. * Phones are available for patient use 8am-10am (off during groups). * Christian religion focused with many Christian religious materials available (a plus if you like that sort of thing, also included as a con below for those that don't). Next the cons: * Outside of breakfast, the food is consistently terrible (mostly overcooked). * The staff sometimes gossip about patients and other staff within earshot of the patients. * No regularly scheduled outdoor time and no real physical activity possible (no gym, no stretching or yoga classes, no outdoor space except a courtyard that was only accessed 1x for 45 min during my 8 day stay). * Therapy groups are only scheduled 1-2x each day on the weekend (6x on weekdays). This is typical of most facilities but still a con in my opinion. * Rules are applied inconsistently at times and seem dependent on staff member / their own set of rules (use of dental floss/floss sticks, tampons, holes in jeans, zippers on clothing, jewelry, piercings allowed, soft cover/hard cover books, etc.) * Building is quite outdated and in need of deep cleaning and remodel (rust in shower and toilet, chairs with significant wear, table is wobbly, carpet is stained and very dirty). * Therapy groups rarely start or finish on time. * The daily therapy schedule isn't provided to patients until right before the first group and only shows the therapist name, not the type of group (processing, art, music, pets, etc.) * Christian religious materials are EVERYWHERE - posted on the wall, handouts, nurse uniforms, etc. (again, listed as a con here, but a pro above also, depending on preference).

I had a great experience here! Almost everything was done in one day—from labs to X-rays—which saved me so much time. The doctor was excellent: professional, knowledgeable, and truly caring.
