This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

Gateway showed me the way to save my life! I'm going to talk about the app. I love it. I have had struggles with having a daily routine my whole life. This app is something I use daily. There have been days when I was struggling that I would just scroll through people's posts and comment on all of them. It would help me get out of my head . Concordance isn't just a place where people come and sit around. It's a place where people come to learn by receiving new ideas and implementing them in their lives.
The program is challenging as it should be wild demanding you to be your absolute best. There are no shortcuts and there are no excuses. Howeve, all of this is complimented with a level of care and consideration by staff who understand the human dilemma as they offer their expertise in wisdom to guide you through it.
This is Concordance in essence as it is a place that restores value to the human spirit, the individual an ultimately the community at large. And as a graduate, I encourage anyone who is thinking about becoming a part of the program to do so because you'll find your answers when you least expect them.

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

Bridgeton, MO | SSM Health DePaul Hospital is located in Bridgeton, Missouri, a suburb on the Northwest side of St. Louis. They provide behavioral health services when you’re having difficulty coping with a mental health condition or substance use disorder but they’re also a full service hospital. A Multidisciplinary Team Works with Community Collaborator | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible care I received from the ED and maternity staff. I didn’t catch the names of the two young ladies at the front, but they were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was directed to the right department. As a high-risk pregnant patient preparing for a trip, I came in seeking reassurance, even though it wasn’t an emergency and they truly advocated for me so I could be seen. That meant more than I can express.
Once I was in the maternity ward, I was cared for by Maddy, who was absolutely wonderful. She listened attentively to my concerns, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with such compassion, it really made me feel like what I was experiencing mattered.
Medical student Advika was also very sweet. Even though she was observing, she brought warmth to the room and made the experience more personal, we even shared some laughs, which helped ease my nerves.
Then Nurse Practitioner Dr. Alex came in and truly exceeded all expectations. She conducted my exam thoroughly, addressed every concern I had, and completely put my mind at ease. On top of that, she took the time to call me the next day to follow up and wish me a safe trip. That level of care and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated.
This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital. Because of these amazing women, I’m heading into my trip feeling confident, reassured, and at peace. Thank you all for the exceptional care, you made a lasting impact! I know sometimes DePaul Hospital gets a bad reputation, but there are still some positives at this center.

SSM Rehabilitation Hospital has to be the BEST CHOICE for PT and OT in the St. Louis area. I cannot imagine any other facility would be as thorough, caring, and determined to get me back to 'normal' after my surgery and hospital stay.
I have to name the EXCELLENT staff by name as the TRUE heroes need to be recognized. First, the outstanding nursing staff; Winnie, Elham, Lem Lem, Krystal, and Shayla (Shay). They were very attentive and never ONCE made me feel that I was 'bothering' them even when I needed them at midnight or noon.
The techs that went beyond the call of duty and must be named are Lyn - who was always friendly and smiling. This can make a person's day when spending multiple days in a facility. Also, Lea and An'drea were cheerful and attentive. These employees seem to truly LOVE what they do! Thanks to all them! Thanks to SSM Rehab Hospital for hiring people who really CARE about your patients!
Physical Therapy Staff I need to recognize are Megan who was my primary therapist. She was so supportive, understanding, and encouraging. She knew exactly what I needed and 'PUSHED' me to go further and do more than I thought I could! Jeremy and Candace stand out as techs who were there when they were needed and went beyond the call of duty to serve their patients. I will never forget their kindness. The entire staff was so supportive!
Amy, my case manager, was very helpful and set up everything for my return home. She was there to keep me informed. At the time of my illness, Amy was working alone as they were short handed in the Case Management department. She was managing everyone on the floor. I'm going to guess there were almost 50 people at that time on the floor. Her management and people skills shone through at a time when it had to be stressful!

Stay away from Gateway Carbondale. This place is more interested in insurance money than actual patient success. I was nearly finished with a 28-day program, but they tried to force an extension just to milk my insurance for more money. I ended up walking out on day 26 because of their greed and lack of transparency.
I wasn’t the only one fed up; four other people walked out during my short time there. The atmosphere is toxic because the staff is unprofessional and often flat-out rude to the residents. I can’t say enough good things about this DUI counseling program. The teachers here truly go above and beyond…George, Troy, and Noel each share real-life stories and situations that make the lessons not only impactful but also relatable. You can tell they genuinely care about the work they do and about helping people learn and grow. Even Shelly, in the office, is kind and very relatable.
What stood out to me most is that this program isn’t just for people with a DUI…it’s information that everyone should hear! The way it’s taught makes you reflect, and I honestly believe these lessons could benefit anyone, whether or not they’ve ever made the mistake of driving under the influence. It’s a truly valuable program run by people who care about making a difference.

I love my social worker Shalonda Card. You only get out what you put in when it comes to your case management. I was housing insecure for a period of time and couch surfing and she was able to hook me up with resources until I was able to mediate my living situation. I do know other unhoused people have issues with other social workers, while that needs to be fixed, my social worker is proactive and attentive to my needs as a patient. I do wish that they had more PSR groups in the evening because College conflicts with that. They don't have evaluations at thus office, I know Social Workers can hook you up with people within the network who can but that's my only gripe. Do keep in mind if you use pot or anything they can't prescribe controlled substances, luckily my General Practitioner knows I've been on my ADHD medicine for years and is willing to prescribe it. I have treatment resistant depression and I know that there's a controlled substance which is a psychiatric that helps treat depression and C-PTSD that I am interested in, and while they can't prescribe that for me specifically Shalonda ADAPT and CHN will help you coordinate care to ensure you have a psychiatrist who can offer you psychiatric treatment even if its not through the psychiatrists at ADAPT.

St Louis, MO | INSynergy is a medically based addiction treatment clinic in St. Louis, Missouri, offering outpatient care designed to work around your life. The practice specializes in medication supported treatment for alcohol and opioid use disorders, alongside individual, family and group therapy using CBT and motivational interviewing. INSynergy takes an in | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I relapsed with alcohol after a lengthy period of sobriety. I knew I was in trouble and I was consumed with self doubt and shame. I immediately phoned INSYNERGY, where I had previously gotten sober many years before and I had faith they could restore my dignity and sobriety. They did just that and much more. My initial interview was with Matt, who was nonjudgmental and very kind. Then I met with Dr Taca ( who was and is my lifesaver) and staff including Hannah who is an angel dressed in mortal clothing.
I decided to sign up for a 3 month treatment plan which included lab work, genetic testing, counseling, group therapy and Vivitrol injections to curb cravings which I utilized previously with excellent results.
This time I had my first interaction with Dr Kennedy, an addiction expert, and a kinder woman you will never find; yet she has a superior intellect, a confident demeanor and a very professional attitude . We would meet weekly via zoom in addition to meeting with Dr Taca weekly and group therapy every Friday. All of these treatments work symbolically so that individual goals will be met. I looked so forward to chatting with Dr Kennedy as her advice using cognitive therapy was invaluable. Dr Kennedy also facilitated the group meetings on Friday and I always left feeling uplifted but most importantly, understood.
I received 3 Vivitrol injections and terminated my care as I do have many years of past sobriety, and am an active member in good standing in AA
The good news is that I can continue with the Friday afternoon “in person “ group meetings as an alum, and wild horses could not keep me away.
I have not had a desire to drink, feel supported and would give INSYNERGY an A+ in their unique approach for treatment, working with individualized care.
Don’t let shame, confusion or withdrawal symptoms keep you away from treatment. I promise you can find sobriety and peace of mind at INSYNERGY.

I am incredibly grateful for Insynergy and their IOP program—it truly changed my life. The care and dedication of their team—especially Dr. Taca, Dr. Kennedy, and Hannah—supported me through an incredibly difficult season, helping me build a foundation for lasting recovery as my world came back to life. From intake and evaluation, through treatment, and life in recovery, I have felt genuinely cared for every step of the way.
Completion of the program did not mark the end of my connection here. I choose to stay engaged in group therapy because the support and sense of belonging are extraordinary, and the clinicians, staff, and the people I’ve had the privilege of walking this journey alongside have made all the difference.
Because they look at the full picture, my overall health—both physical and emotional—is better than it has ever been as an adult. I can honestly say I am physically and emotionally sober, something I once thought was impossible. Insynergy didn’t just help me achieve sobriety—they helped me get my life back. I cannot recommend this program enough to anyone seeking real, lasting recovery.
