Registration staff are great. Nurses are caring and professional. The doctors I’ve had are awful. Dr D T. Does not listen when I explain why I have come in she literally waves me off and says stop worrying, you’re ok. And I’m on my way. I have met with Dr. V. R. About severe pain in my left shoulder. She listens very kindly. Never looks at the site of pain where there is large lump. I got second opinion at UW and neurologist referred me to physical therapist because of swelling and pressure on nerve. This is starting to help and give me relief.

In all honesty people may talk down on greendale staff and the place that gave them a place to lay there head because they don't like rules which if they can't handle the rules and feed back that would help them out in life then that's on them and I wasn't too crazy about coming here seven months ago and I'm going on my 8th month and wanted to leave on my 2nd month but if you give the staff a chance to talk to them and interact with them then you would think twice about listening to others how horrible it is here which it isn't at all. I actually learned a lot here. I learned patience which I had none at all well very little when I got here now I can stand in line at a gas station for a hour and don't mind but what I'm trying to say is greendale helped me a lot and the staff does listen to your needs and concerns and everyone handles things differently in a positive way of course. Also they made me look at everyone isn't all bad people and everyone does things differently it's just that you want to change or be stuck at the bottom and they honestly opened my eyes and made me see the glass is always full and ever half full anywhere u go there's going to be that person who doesn't like something or someone well guess what that's life and if you want to change and I was very stubborn person words goes in one ear out the other and as time went on isnt like that for me anymore here not to kiss butt well put this if you want the help and want to stay clean and sober greendale and greendale staff is here 24/7 for who ever also the residents is pretty cool too.

I have seen some pretty nasty things written here about remedies and just want to clear some things up most of these poor reviews are from those under the influence of addiction and are angry because they won’t follow rules, firstly I know quite a few people who have been there long term (years) with no issues, including myself after years I was sent away one day for being 10 mins late it sucked but I was ok and didn’t oversleep again I learned a lesson, they treat everyone fairly but you have to do what your expected to do being fresh at sobriety is hard and their no pajamas and being there before 9am rules seems to be a big issue for most if you can’t be responsible for your basics how can you keep yourself clean? They will help but won’t make you do anything you won’t cooperate with! This is a rehabilitation center not a place to make friends so stay clean, keep away from others and mind the rules these simple things will take you far…..

Overall I felt that it was a good experience. At first I didn't understand why they called an ambulance for me. But I complied with them and I went to the hospital. I assumed that they knew what was best for me and them because earlier I had informed them that I have been thinking about checking out of this life. Also I hadn't taken my medication for that last 3 days. I am now taking my medication on time daily. I believe that Rosecrance is a very good place for anyone who needs help and hopefully they will accept me now that I am medication compliant.

Rosecrance Mulberry Center was a great 14 day program to help me reset and get some of my mental health in order. They provide great group therapies, very informative on how to handle and live with Depression and other mental health issues. Having 1 on 1 discussions with a counselor really helped me and I gained a lot of confidence with sharing and expressing my emotions.

I have a story to tell sit back and relax because it's going to be nice and sweet. Where do I start. Last year in 2024 I was in my apartment I decided to go out for my daily walk and you know what I was really feeling the momentum and I felt so good and I thought I was 15 years old again and I did so many walking laps around the building and then I decided to do 15 flights of stairs. Everything was going good right. But as I went in my apartment and checked my blood sugar it was ok but then I checked it again moments later it done spike up and I had thought to myself and said now it's time for me to worry so I wanted to call the non-emergency number and the operator had directed me to call 911 so I did just that and minutes later they came fast and got me on a Gurnee and took me out my apartment so paramedics did my blood sugar as I was on my way to the hospital while they was asking me questions. And one of them said your blood sugar is fine but here's the problem your blood pressure is extremely high and you suffer hypertension. And you have to stay in the hospital overnight so we can monitor you. I said to myself oh great. And I had so many plans on that week. But other than that my first night there was great met so many incredible doctors and nurses and I have to say I was getting alot of fame in this hospital because I was being told alot that I was One of the nicest patient that they ever meet. plus I was having friendly conversations and had so much fun talking. So they had me to do a lot of tests and they made sure I was heading towards the right track at the moment but my blood pressure was still up there so I done a stress test and they did my heart procedure and it turn out successful and they made sure that I was getting enough rest and they had gotten my blood pressure down back to normal and I was in there for a week and 2 days but overall I was getting a lot of love from my neighbors my church family my loved ones the nurses and getting a lot of phone calls in my room and the food there was delicious and by me being in the hospital word done spreaded throughout the streets that had so many people talking. And I have to say it has been quite adventure and I was like I enjoy my stay and meet alot of incredible people and I have to say I miss being up there not in a way that I want to be back in a hospital let's make that clear hahaha Nah but on a serious note I will say this I'm just glad that I made it through and came out strong and more watchful and understand that I can't overwork myself and everyone got on my case and told me take your time we don't wanna see you ended up here again you not 15 years old and don't get ahead of yourself in believing that you can do 15 flights of stairs. But other than that whoever reading this it has been quite a journey. And a wild ride and as all the nurses doctors the staff everybody up there I miss you guys. Lately I've been taking a day at a time and my goal is to listen to my body more and don't over look when you do have a problem that can't be ignored because you never know it might be in a matter of life or death real talk. I went to the ER yesterday for a post op infection. They did not make me wait long despite the waiting room. I was pulled back to triage quickly and my vitals confirmed an issue. I was quickly taken to a room, had bloodwork & CT. It was all so very timely. I was in incredible pain from the infection. The nurses, doctors and imaging techs were beyond amazing & caring. They continuously kept me in the loop with the treatment plan so I felt highly cared for. Thank you to the staff that were part of my care!!

THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT MONEY!
They told me I was covered, then billed me anyway. I thought it must be a mistake. Then, when I drove 50 miles for my second appointment, they told me to get lost when I couldn't pay the bill for my first visit.
I'm 60 years old. I have never in my life had a worse experience at a mental health clinic.
PLEASE NOTE: all any of the negative reviews here get, is a canned response which tells you, "We do to care."
If they cared, they wouldn't be treating their patients like piggy banks and responding to complaints with impersonal, canned garbage.

This was only for the ER nurse Matt and the doctor in the ER. They were the best ever??
But…..::after being admitted and they never got approval to give me a diflucan for the yeast infection in my tongue. I’m still suffering. 2 days after being released.
When I called the hospital. The call center was so rude. I wanted to talk to my doctor. She couldn’t help me..
After being admitted in 6-12,-25 I got on the 3rd floor Neuro/critical care floor. my experience was horrible! I had to ask if I could try eating! I was thrashing in pain and the nurse had meds for me to take the whole time. She seemed to enjoy watching me suffer. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. Except for a quick ER visit.
These nurses took more time talking and laughing with each other than they do taking care of their patients. Except for one nurse, who was of color, but she did everything she could to explain that I don’t take syboxebe anymore, I still don’t. i only had to take it for back to back hip surgeries and my body became used to norco. Under the instruction of a doctor, he told me to stop taking sub ozone 24 hours before a surgery, then take norco’s or morphine as prescribed. Stop when pain stops and after 24 hours with no norco’s in my system , I was able to take 1 sobixene again. Which I haven’t had since June 2nd prior to my oral surgery. If that nurse hadn’t stayed late to help me, I never would have gotten anything. She was on the 6 am to 7 pm shift and didn’t leave until 8:29 pm. Please be sure she reads this. And tell her thank you for caring. The rest of the nurses and the care team lady. Need TRAINING or they need to find another profession. It’s up to hospital administrators to make sure the patients get the care they need. I would like a call back from that office please or I’ll be making more calls and filing written complaints. I’m a paralegal and I know my rights.

2 nurses and 1 doctor at emergency care saved my son’s life in 2024 during an anaphylaxis episode and I will be always thankful that ER still open. However they mentioned that they don’t have the all of the medication that’s they need or equipment to treat a lot of other emergencies, so we got transferred to the new hospital to continue for treatment once he was stabilized.
WE NEED A HOSPITAL ON this side of the city or at least this doctors need to be given the medical equipment and medicine that’s they need to do do their work and most just to be left them alone on their own. They need support from their main hospital. Besides that’s they are really good doctors
