I would like to thank Claudia at CST Counseling for her genuine help in guiding me to find the correct resource. I had called a few days ago seeking a service that this practice doesn't offer. Claudia was able to clarify what type of service I was looking for and provided at least 5 different referrals for places that do offer this service. CST was actually the 3rd place I called looking for this service. The other practices simply said they didn't offer it and that was that. I sensed a care here for clients that you can feel immediately when you talk to them. She could have said they don't offer the service like the others, but her willingness to find other places that do really touched me and sincerely helped me to find the right service. Thank you so much Claudia, and if I ever need therapy services, this is the place. God bless you and your practice and what you do for others!

I've been there 5 times because I didn't fully listen to them the first 4 times. I've been sober 8 years now. I am forever grateful to the staff and big book people who came in to help the ignorant, selfish, low bottom, sick individuals like I myself once was. Treatment is not fun and these people r not ir mothers. Remember, if u don't want what they offer Go somewhere else

I have been going to this Hoffman Estates, Il. VA Clinic for about four years. I am a Vietnam Vet with agent orange related issues among other things. I am very impressed with the high level of care I receive by Dr. Ali and the entire staff at this facility.

My mom was sent here because she was having problems due to a stroke, I got to see her one time because of the strange visiting hours and days, but the staff was always very nice to me and I called alot to talk to her, I felt like we all became friends lol. I did take her clothes and they were lost. I am her poa and not one time did the Dr call me and tell me what was going on or about medicine changes or anything. For the 1st week I didn't know how to get ahold of my mom or anything again no one told me how things worked or called me at all. I had to reach out about anything and everything. When they wanted her out and felt like she could leave the social worker did work with me, I had a hard time getting a nursing home to take her but one, and the one I felt like we had no other choice to go with because they wanted her out of there ,I would never wish this nursing home on anyone.

I’m a resident of Oxford sober living in Darien for the women’s house. Ten minutes away from Abraxas. I went to Abraxas and loved the staff. I had been to 35 rehabs in total and couldn’t grasp the concept of sobriety. But something clicked for me in there. Now I’m two years sober and giving back to my community. Inpatient is recovery focused professional services and staff. friendly environment and help to those who need it is the priority. Good speakers come in good meetings are held . IOP services are professional and have great topics for all aspects of recovery

My son has been struggling for years and has been to several rehabs. Some bad some great. He's currently at this one and I have seen such a huge difference in him! He is making healthy plans for the future and is full of hope again! He loves that they get to go outside for basketball and the other clients act like family. I like that it's separated with men on one unit and ladies on the other. Having been through treatments myself, I know this is crucial. My son has nothing but good things to say about this facility and I can definitely see the positive change, as can our family. We thank you 🙏❤️

Hi, My name is Brittany woodruff, my personal experience with Nicasa has been a true blessing. I came to Nicasa in 2022, me and my children were homeless. I had just gave birth to a Beautiful baby girl!!! In the time of our homelessness, the shelter we were staying at refered me to them!! I called them and made appointment. When the time came I went to the appointment and they were so sweet, understanding, and very resourceful!!!. I was amazed, and happy!!! First off, it's a blessing itself to have a facility FREE OF CHARGE!!! They help step by step, to get your life in order and back together again!!!♥️ Nicasa has truly been a blessing to us, and always will be!!! We are still with them still this day!!! Ms. Cindy is 1 of the few and rare woman I have ever met. This woman was a Huge BLESSING!!!! THE THINGS SHE DID FOR ME WAS RARE!!! I did my parenting classes at Nicasa North Chicago and the people there are really nice and willing to help. Gloria Gomez led the classes and she always positive and listened to everyone. I like how they are really trying to help others….

Great staff and very helpful during a rough time because chances are, if you need to come here, its court ordered. This is the most affordable place to take your classes and even of you are a low risk you will be surprised what you learn and take away from these classes. Mario, Amanda, and Frank are awesome from my time spent there in 2005 and they (plus others I've never met) have been excellent for my fiancee who had a whopping 75hrs to complete. This place is really great.

Kim and Melonie are the most welcoming , kind hearted, caring individuals. I never once feel judged and as an addict I’m used to being treated so. But not here. I’m treated like the human being I am and with respect. They really do the most to make the environment a more welcoming enjoyable experience. When I first came here I was broken and lost in addiction just trying to look for a way out and this place really helped me get on the right path. Recovery is possible and keep going!!!

They make sure your all set up & don’t need any other resources also. My counselor Chris is unbelievable! First counselor I’ve had that can relate & I actually want to talk & open up. I absolutely love this clinic. I've been to three different ones and this was the four one and the best. Easy to talk to. They make you feel like you have a chance. Of course you have to believe but it does help when someone helping you believe in you.

Angelika is one of the best psychologist in our area. Highly educated. Non judgemental. Great approach to therapy and couples counseling and so much more and she's bilingual which is great for bilingual partners. She's great at understanding American culture and traditions and Polish culture and traditions. Highly recommend!

A true master class of what MAT program should be, from the amazing Stephanie who you can find dutifully behind the front desk, doing so much for the clients that without her hard work dealing with insurance companies, insuring transportation etc Many people myself included would not have been able to utilize this fantastic place of healing. Furthermore the Director Margo Brooks can not be given enough credit for the way she ensures a place that is conducive to the healing taking place and the humanizing of folks that more often then not have been let down by less Impressive institutions such. I owe my life and sanity to these great people. And that is to say nothing of the 5 star nursing staff. God bless these fine upstanding people and the hard and often thankless job they do. So this comes from the bottom of my heart and I'm sure I speak for many others when finally giving you the just thanks you so rightfully deserve now. If ever I needed to recommend anyone to get treatment I always have an extra CAP business card in my wallet, they are that good and so much better at what they do from others in their field. That is a firsthand truth.

This hands down is the best clinic in Chgo. I have been to several different clinics through the years and this clinic seems to be the one that is working for me. I have been able to maintain my sobriety here. Counselors are great hours are convenient Nurses are super cool and I've never really had a long wait to get medicated. Love it here

Mather's Recovery has been the best place I have been to concerning my OUD and other mental health diagnoses. I am a recovering IV heroin addict for 10 years. My sobriety began 8/5/2021. I was at several MAT clinics to be prescribed methadone that I ended up abusing alongside heroin to supplement my habit for those 10 years. I had a very rough decade as I am sure many of us have while using. I overdosed more times than I could count and was in and out of jail for drugs and theft. I finally got sick and tired of using especially when fentanyl hit the streets along with unknown substances being passed off as heroin. I began detoxing for 6 months to get off of methadone and switch to suboxone which I did albeit I went into PAWS for using fentanyl before my first strip. This was before Mather's at my PCP's office more than 50 miles away. My PCP was extremely cold, impatient and quick to invalidate my feelings and experiences. That's when my wife found Mather's Recovery in Fox Lake. From the moment I walked in I had felt seen. The front desk women are so incredibly kind! It also doesn't look like your typical "clinic " which feels really good. I don't have to worry about hearing people talk about using still or offering me their take homes/drugs. Lorin was assigned to me and she is hands down the most down to earth, genuine person I have ever met during this journey. She makes me feel seen, validated and treats me like an actual human being. I switched from Suboxone to Brixadi and it was the best thing I have done for my sobriety so far. The nurses are so funny and I always leave feeling like I just visited caring friends. Lorin also listened to my struggles with mental health and did not hesitate prescribing me medication that other doctors did not trust me with even though I was sober and those meds were so necessary for my continued stability. I did not have to feel like I had to keep my struggles a secret out of fear of looking like a drug seeker. I have also been struggling with my severe unmanaged ADHD that was proving to be a huge obstacle in my life. Lorin heard my story and changed my life. I have been able to manage my symptoms and get a grip on life which once proved to once be an impossible task. It changed the way my employers and coworkers treat me. Most importantly it saved my 15 year relationship with my wife. I was on the brink of a separation with her. Now she and I have been more understanding of each other and slowly growing closer again. This is my testimony of how Mather's Recovery helped me regain control of my life. I couldn't be more thankful for everyone there. I hope someone reads this and decides to give this wonderful place a chance. Lonnie
