In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. The fact that we’re getting medicine at night between 1030 and 11 is brutal as we’re expected to wake up at six in the morning per your schedules, which goes against your other directive of getting eight hours of sleep. I also had my wife bring two ply toilet paper and it was rejected, which is a joke. No one should have one ply and I bet whoever is reading this uses two ply. I’d like to get that sent to my cottage ASAP. They also took a small tube of gorilla glue, which I was trying to help my roommates with to fix a pair of broken glasses and that wasn’t even recognized on the old held yet it wasn’t in my bag of goods I received either. Even though I’m able to use my phone during work, Flex, I think it’s unfair to the rest to not be able to use their phones for at least a half hour a day. At times feel like prisoners. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. This program also has amazing outside events for its patients in recovery, such as game nights, movie/book club nights, and more. If you're looking for a program that can get you to that next step when every other programs or every other solution has not worked, I promise you if you follow their advice and tips, you definitely will. I was struggling with my alcohol use and going into treatment with NIRC changed my life! The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. I owe it to NIRC and I hope to, one day, give back to the organization that has given me a life I am proud of and excited to live every day! Thank you!!

I had a good experience and learn a lot from this program. The staff worked really hard to get me a place to go. I am now in sober living. I enjoyed my time at this treatment center. This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

The personnel is wonderful in the meetings as well as I’ve learned that the fellowship and community is the most meaningful process of recovery. The Work Flex is great And Henry love is terrific always with the smile and willingness to accommodate any request. Five stars for him. The fact that we’re getting medicine at night between 1030 and 11 is brutal as we’re expected to wake up at six in the morning per your schedules, which goes against your other directive of getting eight hours of sleep. I also had my wife bring two ply toilet paper and it was rejected, which is a joke. No one should have one ply and I bet whoever is reading this uses two ply. I’d like to get that sent to my cottage ASAP. They also took a small tube of gorilla glue, which I was trying to help my roommates with to fix a pair of broken glasses and that wasn’t even recognized on the old held yet it wasn’t in my bag of goods I received either. Even though I’m able to use my phone during work, Flex, I think it’s unfair to the rest to not be able to use their phones for at least a half hour a day. At times feel like prisoners. Regardless of my complaints still fabulous recovery experience. Thank you.

So I want to let anyone know who is looking into treatment Banyan was such a fantastic experience for me. I owe them such a debt of GRATITUDE. I am a middle-aged woman with kids who was struggling with drinking - life was just sad for me due to some pretty terrible trauma-I knew I needed to make a change and I came to Banyan. I was scared & ashamed. They treated me with such kindness. The program was well structured & professional. The financial obligation was manageable. Everyone there continues to check on my progress. I have completely been sober since I left and have a completely new life - A+ Banyan. I continue to have great friendships from my time there. This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They saved my lyfe for sure and are currently saving my girlfriends lyfe. I can not say enough good things about this place and trust me if it was wack I'd put them on blast. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. If your struggling with anything this is the best possible place for you. They truly save lives.

I can’t say enough about Micawla and Cliff! We came over from the professional building after hearing some disheartening news. We needed further lab tests, one for a C-T scan. We were told we would have to make an appointment and return at another time. Just so happens that Cliff, who actually does the test, walked in while we were waiting to set up the test. He over heard our situation and immediately said he would fit us in his schedule. With help from Micwala, we were able to do the test the same day. Their overwhelming kindness and compassion were second to none. I would highly recommend Holy Family for their available services and will definitely schedule any further testing with them. I choose to take part of the Symetria program voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Not only are the staff like family, so are the individuals that pick Symetria too. Now days, customer service is pathetic and people are rude and most push you out the door, but not here. This place has the warm feeling like "The door is always open", and "how can we help you", We are here for you, it doesn't matter the time or the day, we care about you. You're a shining star and a success, not a failure. This place is secure, confidential, clean and has several options to help you along your journey. You are able to volunteer your time, make new friends and can help save a life, change a life and feel proud of who you are. Brian and John from Naperville are excellent group leaders (you are lucky if you get to meet them), and (Chris from Vernon Hills is a great counselor, who will make the time to ensure your needs are met). Symetria creates an environment where people feel safe, supported, and valued. The morning IOP group supported me through the hardest part of my life and I will forever be grateful for the amazing people I met. I think each one of us in the group looked forward to our time together in that healing place. Our counselor Brian is an expert in his field. He led our group through many difficult topics and conversations and did so with enormous compassion. Individual sessions with Brian were always insightful. Brian has a unique way of making each of his clients feel good about themselves. I came here for the Adult IOP program after a recent stay at inpatient unit at a different hospital. I cannot say enough about how well this program is run and the people who run it. Dee and Cory are amazing at what they do . They have that perfect balance of understanding your thoughts and challenging your thoughts . Everyone is able to speak as much or as little as they want. The program is well structured and you can expect the same and clear expectations daily. A variety of activities and discussion groups from daily check ins to music and art therapy. Strongly reccommend this program if needed.

I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

This is my first time experiencing an addiction recovery program. But I can honestly say I've never been part of any program (of any kind) that has counselors and leaders with bigger hearts! I was recommended this place by my therapist, and can honestly say it was not only the best decision I've ever made but the most life-changing decision I've ever gotten to experience. As soon as I started, I could instantly tell that the counselors and leaders weren't just there to do a job but genuinely cared about every patient who entered their program. It was amazing to not only get education and tools on how to go through recovery but also how to cope with life outside of recovery with a tailored made schedules for each individual. This program also has amazing outside events for its patients in recovery, such as game nights, movie/book club nights, and more. Care Addiction Center is more than a program; it's a beating heart that saves & changes lives! I can honestly say it saved mine! If you're looking for a program that can get you to that next step when every other programs or every other solution has not worked, I promise you if you follow their advice and tips, you definitely will. I'm grateful to have met every single person a part of this program! I don't think there is a better recovery program that really exists; especially for its affordability. I know I'm biased, but there are many who would back that! I'm genuinely so grateful for these counselors and leaders and the many I've met who joined me in the program along the way!

BEST EXPERIENCE!!! This center was perfect for me because I am not a very social person and the small group sessions were perfect. Also, the small group allowed for me to learn more and get the most from the program. The instructors are very well versed and knowledgeable about addiction. I looked forward to going every day. Our group became very close knit and we do activities together outside of class.
