Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. I really show you the way to being happy sober. Basically they show you how to do it yourself so you make yourself happy while being sober. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. The fact that we’re getting medicine at night between 1030 and 11 is brutal as we’re expected to wake up at six in the morning per your schedules, which goes against your other directive of getting eight hours of sleep. I also had my wife bring two ply toilet paper and it was rejected, which is a joke. No one should have one ply and I bet whoever is reading this uses two ply. I’d like to get that sent to my cottage ASAP. They also took a small tube of gorilla glue, which I was trying to help my roommates with to fix a pair of broken glasses and that wasn’t even recognized on the old held yet it wasn’t in my bag of goods I received either. Even though I’m able to use my phone during work, Flex, I think it’s unfair to the rest to not be able to use their phones for at least a half hour a day. At times feel like prisoners. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. I will no longer see the APN Slyvia Giron as I should have discontinued seeing her after I requested an increase in dosage of my ADHD medication. Im a professional in corporate experiencing major trauma and she stated something to the effect that you are not going to sell these pills? Apparently Sylvia did not read my chart. A professional experiencing trauma. Why would I need to sell meds that I needed to take? Why would she make such an offensive statement to me? Because I was already experiencing so much trauma I only shared that statement with others. I felt Sylvia was interested in prescribing anxiety meds because as I got better and my anxiety subsided she still wanted me to take these pills. I rejected the script. It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. I really show you the way to being happy sober. Basically they show you how to do it yourself so you make yourself happy while being sober. It's really an amazing face to be

Woodstock recovery home is run by caring attentive staff. The homes are beautiful and kept nice and clean. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. I waited a couple weeks for a spot to open up and I’m so grateful I didn’t look elsewhere .I’ve been here a little over a week and I’m happy and more hopeful than I’ve been in years. 🥰👍👍👍

I was struggling with my alcohol use and going into treatment with NIRC changed my life! The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. I owe it to NIRC and I hope to, one day, give back to the organization that has given me a life I am proud of and excited to live every day! Thank you!!

The personnel is wonderful in the meetings as well as I’ve learned that the fellowship and community is the most meaningful process of recovery. The Work Flex is great And Henry love is terrific always with the smile and willingness to accommodate any request. Five stars for him. The fact that we’re getting medicine at night between 1030 and 11 is brutal as we’re expected to wake up at six in the morning per your schedules, which goes against your other directive of getting eight hours of sleep. I also had my wife bring two ply toilet paper and it was rejected, which is a joke. No one should have one ply and I bet whoever is reading this uses two ply. I’d like to get that sent to my cottage ASAP. They also took a small tube of gorilla glue, which I was trying to help my roommates with to fix a pair of broken glasses and that wasn’t even recognized on the old held yet it wasn’t in my bag of goods I received either. Even though I’m able to use my phone during work, Flex, I think it’s unfair to the rest to not be able to use their phones for at least a half hour a day. At times feel like prisoners. Regardless of my complaints still fabulous recovery experience. Thank you.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They saved my lyfe for sure and are currently saving my girlfriends lyfe. I can not say enough good things about this place and trust me if it was wack I'd put them on blast. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. If your struggling with anything this is the best possible place for you. They truly save lives.

I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

My Therapist is Theresa Mikosz. She is amazing. I starting meeting with her at a very critical time in my life. She helped me through when it all. She is sensitive, to your concerns, listens, hears you, questions, understands and offer recommendations, to help improve your life. I highly recommend her. She will be retiring and I will miss her terribly. I think she is a professional that has mastered her craft! The APN I was assigned Sylvia Giron lacks all sensitivity. She was more interested in keeping me on anxiety mesds when my test results showed my anxiety had totally subsided. I will no longer see the APN Slyvia Giron as I should have discontinued seeing her after I requested an increase in dosage of my ADHD medication. Im a professional in corporate experiencing major trauma and she stated something to the effect that you are not going to sell these pills? Apparently Sylvia did not read my chart. A professional experiencing trauma. Why would I need to sell meds that I needed to take? Why would she make such an offensive statement to me? Because I was already experiencing so much trauma I only shared that statement with others. I felt Sylvia was interested in prescribing anxiety meds because as I got better and my anxiety subsided she still wanted me to take these pills. I rejected the script. She scolded me for stop taking the meds. Again Theresa Mikosz has been Amazing 👏 Thank you Theresa!

I would like to thank Claudia at CST Counseling and Consultation for her genuine help in guiding me to find the correct resource. I had called a few days ago seeking a service that this practice doesn't offer. Claudia was able to clarify what type of service I was looking for and provided at least 5 different referrals for places that do offer this service. CST was actually the 3rd place I called looking for this service. The other practices simply said they didn't offer it and that was that. I sensed a care here for clients that you can feel immediately when you talk to them. She could have said they don't offer the service like the others, but her willingness to find other places that do really touched me and sincerely helped me to find the right service. Thank you so much Claudia, and if I ever need therapy services, this is the place. God bless you and your practice and what you do for others!

It was my husband, Michael, who was admitted to St. Alexius. He has nothing but praise for the nurses and doctors. The only problem I found was I would tell someone he was hard of hearing but it took day 3 before they added to the board in his room. They would talk to him but he wasn't hearing them. They need to pay more attention. Also the night nurse gave him a sleeping pill but they woke him up every 2 hours for blood, etc. It made him feel weird and he got no sleep at all.

I came to LSSI back in 2019 & I didn’t care for my counselor but everything else was great! Everyone was very caring the counselor just didn’t seem to truly understand or care to try. But besides that it was amazing. I didn’t stay sober unfortunately but I did end up getting officially sober and never had to see another rehab again. I got for real sober February 14th 2022 and got back with my husband & he got sober we both got our own house now up in Danville il & I have both of my kids back & got custody of my son back from his abusive father this past January, the son I lost right before going to LSSI. Thank you for everything, without the things I learned here and my time here I would have never been able to succeed! God is so good & WE DO RECOVER! God is good all day every day as we used to say! 💖 this is us this passed fall. Forgot to add I had another baby which is the little girl 5 years ago haha. Few years after I got out of LSSI!
