It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. Woodstock recovery home is run by caring attentive staff. The homes are beautiful and kept nice and clean. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. I waited a couple weeks for a spot to open up and I’m so grateful I didn’t look elsewhere .I’ve been here a little over a week and I’m happy and more hopeful than I’ve been in years. 🥰👍👍👍

This is a great sober living home The staff is really like family to me Structured Needed environment My counselor is Jay and It’s hard to find the perfect words to express my gratitude for him He’s an amazing human being With solid recovery experience, AA program focused, caring person. I’m grateful for my higher Power Grateful for Rosecrance and it’s staff Extremely grateful to Jay It’s been an amazing journey here And still going...💖 And one year late in Nov 2021.. Having a great time and new life Getting so much support from the staff here at Rosecrance! They have been my family , my biggest support.. My counselor Jay, couldn’t be any better, he’s absolutely the best counselor I’ve had in my life It’s hard to find the right words to describe Everything he’s taught me, his professionalism, and at the same time I’ve experienced and benefited from everything he gives of himself, My life today wouldn’t be the same without him . On July 29th , I had to visit the ER at Northwestern's Woodstock facility. Dr John Pacini was the physician on duty that morning and I have to say that if it wasn't for his and his staff's fast , professional, attentive care, I probably wouldn't be here today.Thank you to the whole ER team that was there that morning !

I am leaving this review on my brother’s behalf since he has issues typing. My brother stated that he was extremely pleased with the whole team at Northwestern mental health hospital located in Woodstock. He was also pleased with Dr. Bateman as he was very helpful and set up a great follow up plan. He also stated that all the nurses were very friendly and look like they love what they do. Since my brother has sleeping issues, the only thing that he was not pleased with is that they would wake him up between 5 AM and 7 AM to take his vitals. He was pleased with having his own room. The other thing he did not like was the noise from opening and closing doors at all hours of the night and early in the morning. We were shocked to see one star reviews, specially those that did not leave any information as to why they gave one star.

This weekend, there was a mental health crisis with a family member and the beds were full at Northwestern inpatient, so we had to go to another behavioral hospital. This family member had been at Northwestern inpatient and outpatient two other times before this and had a good experience. The inpatient hospital he is at now unfortunately has been a terrible experience compared to our experience at Northwestern. Instead of just leaving a bad review on their page, I figured I’d leave a good review here as well. The experiences we’ve had at Northwestern have been full of compassionate and caring professionals. They kept us updated on our loved one (with consent of course) and seemed to really invest themselves into finding the right care for him. I thought this was how they all were, and after this experience at the other hospital, boy was I wrong. If you need a place that you can trust your loved one going through a mental health crisis will be treated with compassion, this is the place. Thank you for all of your help in the past, and if we end up in this situation again, you will be the first place we go to in the future.

The groups here were good and very welcoming. Here there I met a lot of wonderful people that cared about getting better while helping others as well.

I spoke to Jessica to set up my first appointment. She was super helpful, and she was pleasant and knowledgeable. She lead me through the entire process in an understandable and efficient manner. Great job!

The valuable lessons provided truly shift your perspective on life, regardless of your starting point. Greg Ammon, Vincent Donlon, and the instructors who delivered the lessons were once part of my support network. I cherished their guidance and gained significant knowledge from them. Reflecting on how long it has been since my diagnosis feels surreal. The journey to recovery was facilitated by the insights and assistance I received. Embracing the process involves being receptive to learning and adjusting one's mindset and actions. Thank you for all you do for our community, we appreciate your work and dedication. :)

All the staff and Dr. Dekhtyar were amazing!! I couldn’t express more how well they take care of their patients!!

Doctor was very polite professiona and I was comfortable talking with her.

Update: The girls in the front office do great work and are very prompt to help. Dr. Syl has been a great help over the years. Even though, it seems like every month I have to call in because my meds don't get called in on time. I'm hoping they'll work that out so it doesn't happen again. Thank you Kate and Syl, I don't know the other girl's name but thank you too. You were a great help when we spoke last. I recommend this practice to anyone needing mental health help.

Symetria has helped me with my alcohol issues. My therapist, Deshae has been involved with me through the good and bad. They give me reasons to move forward towards my recovery.

I've been there 5 times because I didn't fully listen to them the first 4 times. I've been sober 8 years now. I am forever grateful to the staff and big book people who came in to help the ignorant, selfish, low bottom, sick individuals like I myself once was. Treatment is not fun and these people r not ir mothers. Remember, if u don't want what they offer Go somewhere else

Personally I really liked share. Georgia, Mary Jo, Wes, Mike and Johnny the cook are the people who stood out most to me.

Lorin has become someone I look up to, i’m always looking forward to our appointments. I like her because she is her real self and forgives when I’m not doing the best thing or making the best choices.. she is always looking out for me, even when I’m not looking out for myself.. Love Rita.

Bola listens tentatively and has a calm energy. I love her spirit and she is actually giving me exercises to do when I go to home. This is only the second time I have seen her and I was looking forward to coming to our visit this week. I can't wait until next week to see her again. I am looking forward to using the tools she gave me

The inpatient followed by out patient PHP and IOP programs made a world of difference for my daughter.

NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH YOU WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. Be aware! STAY Away from The 10a CoDa meeting. Nancy called me after the text message Shown in this review. It's not by run by a facilitator (Nancy). I let her know a male, threatened harm & violence to another individual "with a plan". Suffice to say Nancy was not present during any meetings. Additionally This male member also broke the CoDa rule of crosstalking during the meeting. At the conclusion of the conclusion of the CoDa you are offered to Hold-Hands if you consent ( keyword "Consent"). A frequent member (female) forcefully grabbed my wrist during the prayer, and didn't let go, and JERKED me towards her saying "sorry somebody was wearing a perfume that she was allergic to." (I'm a survivor of sexual assault & was drugged & was hospitalized for 3 months to 3 different hospitals & and had to be revived). Rather than sharing an email address to have compliance and accountability, Nancy's hope is to gaslight me over the cell phone, "stated there was no meeting." I have reported the incidence to the proper authorities THAT have officers. *****Fantastic behavior health unit. The front desk it's always friendly. *****

this is a top notch place, the staff is verry professional and will not berate you at all they will teach you things you never knew about your self as they they showed me. not just the mistakes i made, but why i made them and how not to fall in to the same traps again. its not about what happened, but not to let it happen again. Jim and Chris are the best. THEY REALY DO CARE! I still will stop in from time to time because some times i could use a little refresher of my own. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME !! MARK
