It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. Woodstock recovery home is run by caring attentive staff. The homes are beautiful and kept nice and clean. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. I waited a couple weeks for a spot to open up and I’m so grateful I didn’t look elsewhere .I’ve been here a little over a week and I’m happy and more hopeful than I’ve been in years. 🥰👍👍👍

On July 29th , I had to visit the ER at Northwestern's Woodstock facility. Dr John Pacini was the physician on duty that morning and I have to say that if it wasn't for his and his staff's fast , professional, attentive care, I probably wouldn't be here today.Thank you to the whole ER team that was there that morning !

Bill did my evaluations and assessments for my drivers license hearing and he got me the results I was looking for. All of my appointments were kept, the fee's weren't unreasonable, the staff was friendly, and he was straight forward and honest with me through the entire process. This place changed my life.. I’ve been in many treatment centers before in the last few years, but the community and structure here is unlike anywhere else - the staff and recovering addicts that come in and out of here, the building and activities that we get to participate in, are all amazing and beautiful.
I will never be the same as I was before coming here

While being at RCA I met people who genuinely cared about me getting well. I was a little skeptical at first that what I was experiencing was real, but throughout my stay I found that these people genuinely cared. With their help I learned that the only way that I was going to stay well is by connecting with others who are serious about recovery and by participating in my own recovery. I am sober today because RCA was there for me then and is there for me now via Alumni meetings and events. I want to thank all the staff for their professionalism, genuine care and for just being there when I needed help.

Being hopeful, heard a lot... From many and within... Physical health etc... the many lies, make so much up. We have a voice! But you can't!! Seen many good people.... The despair, trying to improve... Why??? Just for saying what's going on here, taken advantage of, false promises, came back here in good faith like many.. put forth so much to rebuild etc... new health conditions, put down for a certain one..

I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard.
Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

The valuable lessons provided truly shift your perspective on life, regardless of your starting point. Greg Ammon, Vincent Donlon, and the instructors who delivered the lessons were once part of my support network. I cherished their guidance and gained significant knowledge from them. Reflecting on how long it has been since my diagnosis feels surreal. The journey to recovery was facilitated by the insights and assistance I received. The staff are super nice , courteous and professional. This place saved my life. This is one of the VERY few places that understands me he struggle because many people that work there went thru the same thing. That is so transformative to have someone that went thru what you are going thru and because of that they know how best to help. One other uniquely wonderful part of this program is that they don’t try to rush you through treatment I tried a lot of doctors that would help get me to a stable point and then say ok let’s start taking away those supporting elements of your treatment now like cutting down your scripts when your not ready and on the other side of the equation they don’t over medicate either. One of my favorite doctors there told me it’s your journey tell me how I can get you there.

My relative went to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL to detox from alcohol. He was on the Behavioral Health Psych Inpatient Adult Unit. The Licensed Social Worker gave my relative individual counseling on alcohol abuse, provided group therapy on substance use, and facilitated a family session to educate the entire family on addiction and alcohol abuse. The Licensed Social Worker referred my relative to a residential substance abuse treatment facility and AA (12 Step Program). My relative has been sober for an entire year! I am grateful to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL. The social worker and counselors were excellent! Their alcohol detox program is excellent!

My dad went to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL and was on the Inpatient Adult Psych Behavioral Health Unit to detox from alcohol. The Licensed Clinician / Social Worker provided individual counseling, group therapy, and a family session on alcohol and drug abuse during his stay. She referred my dad to a residential substance abuse treatment (Gateway) and provided him information on Alcohol Anonymous (12 step Program). Now my dad has been sober for 1 year. I give credit to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL for saving my relative's life!

I would like to thank Claudia at CST Counseling for her genuine help in guiding me to find the correct resource. I had called a few days ago seeking a service that this practice doesn't offer. Claudia was able to clarify what type of service I was looking for and provided at least 5 different referrals for places that do offer this service. CST was actually the 3rd place I called looking for this service. The other practices simply said they didn't offer it and that was that. I sensed a care here for clients that you can feel immediately when you talk to them. She could have said they don't offer the service like the others, but her willingness to find other places that do really touched me and sincerely helped me to find the right service. I cannot speak for the rest of the hospital but my experience at maternal and children's hospital was phenomenal. The doctors were amazing but there is no comparison for the nurses. The nurses in L&D, mother baby unit, and especially the nicu were some of the best I have ever encountered. I am so grateful to them for making my difficult time so much easier. All the staff did as much as possible to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Very grateful.

The first time I went here, it didn't work because I wasn't committed enough, so I relapsed after a while. The second time I came, I realized that I had to do better with my life and I'm thankful for the support they provided me. They didn't let me down; on the contrary, they were always there for me even when it was difficult. My therapist was nice, the support groups were awesome, and the staff was friendly. It was a very good experience.

I've been there 5 times because I didn't fully listen to them the first 4 times. I've been sober 8 years now. I am forever grateful to the staff and big book people who came in to help the ignorant, selfish, low bottom, sick individuals like I myself once was. Treatment is not fun and these people r not ir mothers. Remember, if u don't want what they offer Go somewhere else

Mather's Recovery has been the best place I have been to concerning my OUD and other mental health diagnoses. I am a recovering IV heroin addict for 10 years. My sobriety began 8/5/2021. I was at several MAT clinics to be prescribed methadone that I ended up abusing alongside heroin to supplement my habit for those 10 years. I had a very rough decade as I am sure many of us have while using. I overdosed more times than I could count and was in and out of jail for drugs and theft. I finally got sick and tired of using especially when fentanyl hit the streets along with unknown substances being passed off as heroin. I began detoxing for 6 months to get off of methadone and switch to suboxone which I did albeit I went into PAWS for using fentanyl before my first strip. This was before Mather's at my PCP's office more than 50 miles away. My PCP was extremely cold, impatient and quick to invalidate my feelings and experiences. That's when my wife found Mather's Recovery in Fox Lake. From the moment I walked in I had felt seen. The front desk women are so incredibly kind! It also doesn't look like your typical "clinic " which feels really good. I don't have to worry about hearing people talk about using still or offering me their take homes/drugs. Lorin was assigned to me and she is hands down the most down to earth, genuine person I have ever met during this journey. She makes me feel seen, validated and treats me like an actual human being. I switched from Suboxone to Brixadi and it was the best thing I have done for my sobriety so far. The nurses are so funny and I always leave feeling like I just visited caring friends. Lorin also listened to my struggles with mental health and did not hesitate prescribing me medication that other doctors did not trust me with even though I was sober and those meds were so necessary for my continued stability. I did not have to feel like I had to keep my struggles a secret out of fear of looking like a drug seeker. I have also been struggling with my severe unmanaged ADHD that was proving to be a huge obstacle in my life. Lorin heard my story and changed my life. I have been able to manage my symptoms and get a grip on life which once proved to once be an impossible task. It changed the way my employers and coworkers treat me. Most importantly it saved my 15 year relationship with my wife. I was on the brink of a separation with her. Now she and I have been more understanding of each other and slowly growing closer again. This is my testimony of how Mather's Recovery helped me regain control of my life. I couldn't be more thankful for everyone there. I hope someone reads this and decides to give this wonderful place a chance.

Bola listens tentatively and has a calm energy. I love her spirit and she is actually giving me exercises to do when I go to home. This is only the second time I have seen her and I was looking forward to coming to our visit this week. I can't wait until next week to see her again. My mom was sent here because she was having problems due to a stroke, I got to see her one time because of the strange visiting hours and days, but the staff was always very nice to me and I called alot to talk to her, I felt like we all became friends lol.
I did take her clothes and they were lost.
I am her poa and not one time did the Dr call me and tell me what was going on or about medicine changes or anything. For the 1st week I didn't know how to get ahold of my mom or anything again no one told me how things worked or called me at all. I had to reach out about anything and everything. When they wanted her out and felt like she could leave the social worker did work with me, I had a hard time getting a nursing home to take her but one, and the one I felt like we had no other choice to go with because they wanted her out of there ,I would never wish this nursing home on anyone.

Went to inpatient outpatient and the halfway house program next door after inpatient and did my outpatient simultaneously i ended up getting a job and it was very overwhelming at times having to work do my outside meetings for my recovery in-house meetings that are usually 12 step based which are mandatory also the outpatient and juggling them all but honestly it was so uplifting and life changing it shocked me into having no choice but to make it happen or go back to being homeless and living on the streets I was tired of the way I had lived all my life gangs drugs crime and I doubled down got closer to God and my lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I did it I have a full time job make close to 22$ an hour have stayed clean im about to complete the minimum time span to finish successfully as well as IOP and I just got my license back a car and im about to move in my new place with my wife im so greatful for this program and the things I learned from life itself as well as this program ❤ 🙏🏻 thank you so much to all the staff that guided and helped me along the journey 💯💪🏻🙏🏻

I have been in several inpatient and outpatient facilities for alcohol and opiate addiction. Rosecrance has been the only one that has ever helped. The staff really cares. They have multiple types of therapy that help you cope with battling addiction. The psychiatric staff is top notch also. Highly recommend this facility.
