I like the Rosecrance program a lot but I LOVE Dominique and Steve. They balance compassion and support with an expectation of responsibility and accountability which is making my recovery successful. This is the first program that makes me feel like i want to and CAN stay sober for the long haul

The outpatient program at Rosecrance has been invaluable to my recovery. Dominique demonstrates an authentic commitment to helping me, and others in the group, maintain our sobriety. Whether it is through therapeutic programming, providing resources to enable our recovery, or just simply by helping navigate confusing financial aid forms, she is all in and wants to see her clients succeed. When Steve has had to fill in, on days Dominique was not here, he did the same. They both really just seem to care but also hold you accountable if you are not helping yourself. The culture of this program has allowed me the opportunity to really get to know other clients in this programs as well. The friendships I have developed here will stay in my heart forever.

They're genuinely innovative and there's a subtle but real magic to the place. At the end of the day, Lighthouse is a collection of extraordinary people. Most notably, Nate Lanthrum, the founder and clinical director. He's assembled the most passionate, effective and dedicated team imaginable.For those directly effected by substance abuse including the families and loved ones, you could not be more fortunate to have Lighthouse as a resource at your disposal. In terms of quality, Lighthouse is in a category of its own. It's far better than the best of the best programs I've encountered. It may not have the luxurious offerings of a facility like "Promises" in Malibu but it certainly makes up for the lack superficial luxuries with substance, authenticity and effectiveness 1,000 fold..Lighthouse offers something money cannot buy; people who for whatever reason care about you and your loved ones. All treatment plans are customized to each individual that walks through the door. It's a fundamentally different approach to the recovery process. It's not a static program either because Nate makes sure to stay up-to-date with the latest treatment methods and he'll incorporate something if it works.Everyone that works at Lighthouse is of the highest quality and character. The key players off the top of my head are Nate, Dr Steve Holtsford (the "House" Addiction Medicine Expert), Marty who handles intake and paperwork, Dominic (Task Master and human whisperer) and last; the greatest psychotherapist working in the field, Rehna Becker (mother nature's improvement on Carl Jung). I do not have enough superlatives for Nate. He is the best of men. Steve is an emergency room doctor and a brilliant addiction medicine specialist. Marty has to focus on the business side of the operation to ensure the doors stay open. He's an honest guy and hard-working guy doing a thankless and unglamorous job. Dominic fulfills so many roles it's impossible to pigeonhole him but he's a walking blessing. He's much better read than most Nobel laureates, never complains, and will likely be your most consistent point of contact (he's a fixer and a closer, a gentleman and scholar). Rehna is some kind of sorceress. The things she does by intuition cannot be taught. Then there's Emily Mohls who handles psychiatric issues with an ocean of compassion while staying up to the minute with the most revolutionary treatments.Altogether, this group is the "Seal Team 6" of recovery. As a business and as a treatment facility they exemplify the best of human virtue and character. They treat each person who walks through their doors with the dignity and respect they deserve. You could search the world over for a better team, a more "advanced" or "cutting edge" program, even a different paradigm but as someone who tried everything else, and I do mean EVERYTHING, you won't find it. I have tried several other places for MAT care for substance abuse and I have to say that Dr Steven Holtsford is hands down the absolute best. He treats you like a individual person, not a text book case of addiction. He cares, he listens and he helps you. Sobriety is possible for me! Thank you Dr Holtsford!!!Dominic and Eva are also very kind and compassionate people that work closely with the Dr. They are there to help you every step of the way. I have been going to Lighthouse now for over a year and i love it - it has saved me. I am going through their Outpatient substance abuse treatment program & their staff and dr.'s are so wonderful to work with. I feel so comfortable with them as if they too are on this journey with me.

My experience with this hospital has been amazing. Every time I came in for an appointment, I have been seen very quickly, within 10 minutes at most. All of the staff are nice and professional, from receptionists to doctors. Whenever I needed some specialty care (knee surgery, GI, cyst removal), the process to be scheduled for the consultation -> examination -> procedure -> post-op has always been reasonably fast or better.The cons are a fairly slow pharmacy (usually) and it has been difficult to reach people by phone (once or twice).But besides those two, I've always wished civilian hospitals operated the way James A. Lovell does.

Literally the best VA ever!!!! Iv been a lil lost in life in general moved around allot. Getting anything from the VA was always a problem. Unless your at Lovell they have amazing programs u can actually get into, greatvtimes on appointments I wish I lived closer

Greg Ammon, Vincent Donlon, and the instructors who delivered the lessons were once part of my support network. I cherished their guidance and gained significant knowledge from them. Reflecting on how long it has been since my diagnosis feels surreal. The journey to recovery was facilitated by the insights and assistance I received. Embracing the process involves being receptive to learning and adjusting one's mindset and actions. Thank you for all you do for our community, we appreciate your work and dedication. :)

Mathers Clinic is a totally necessary entity in my life. The therapy that I receive helps me navigate my issues successfully. I need the therapy to conquer depression, anxiety, fears, family issues, hopelessness, and sleeplessness. I am learning new ways to approach situations, I m learning self awareness and calming techniques. I m learning how to strategize before things escalate to full bloom. My therapist Steven Wilcox is also very resourceful with tools that I need daily in outside services. Dr. Christina Kassenbrock is a very caring and knowledgeable asset to Mathers Clinic. Any medication that she prescribes is carefully monitored. She doesn t just listens, she hears me. I trust her judgement and her ability to help my family. She s been exponential in helping with paperwork needed by DHS, Schools, and Elgin Family Services. Dr. Kassenbrock does things correctly and in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Mathers Clinic, Therapist Steven Wilcox and Dr. Christina Kassenbrock.

I've tried many clinics for my treatment resistant depression, without success. This place really helped me. My Dr/therapist Christina Kassenbrock is the best thing to ever happen to me, she hit on the perfect medication for me after a lot of trial and error. I highly recommend this clinic & Christina!

Symetria has helped me with my alcohol issues. My therapist, Deshae has been involved with me through the good and bad. They give me reasons to move forward towards my recovery.

I've been there 5 times because I didn't fully listen to them the first 4 times. I've been sober 8 years now. I am forever grateful to the staff and big book people who came in to help the ignorant, selfish, low bottom, sick individuals like I myself once was. Treatment is not fun and these people r not ir mothers. Remember, if u don't want what they offer Go somewhere else
