If I could give less stars I would! The sick who want so much to get better and sober go to this st. Charles clinic to get caring, compassionate help they were promised by the government entities running it. The sick come in every day for months to work up to a half way decent dosage of methadone so they don't withdraw and be in severe pain! See, it's all very much physical and mental for these human beings. The people who work there don't have the right perspective for this most important job. Bunch of egos, bad policies, inconsistent, speaking down to patients, disregarding other ailments most dope sick people have from years of doing drugs. Some of my adult son's organs are failing. He has violent seizures. As sick as he is/was he went to that clinic every day for 8 months until he could really feel a difference. Like maybe he can kick his 15 year fentanyl habit. Then he got promoted at the clinic to only go once a week for dosing and that took a lot of weight off him cause he could see and feel the progress, the hope of a good future. Long car rides involved in his push to succeed. Then his stomach got upset one morning and he threw it up. So next dose he added a touch of kool-aid cause throwing it up makes him back track a day. When the rulers of new seasons on 2027 campus drive st. Charles mo saw him sip kool-aid after dosing they got enraged and told him from now on he has to start coming back every day again. My son said why, I just won't drink anything with it, calm down. But they said he must be taking too much if he's puking. No, his organs have been abused from years of drugs. Don't start him over, he literally doesn't have the strength! So now they have caused a scene that will eventually take my n son's quality of life away because he doesn't want to go back every day. He's a grown man, trying to survive and the people running the place are treating him like a kid getting punished. I'm so heartbroken because I was finally getting my son back and now he's curled in a ball riveted in so much pain. How can people be so cruel when they are getting paid to help?! Please someone...help mu son

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

First, I'd like to start off by saying this place will not help you and will dismiss everything you have to say and violate your rights. Tia is very rude and disrespectful along with counselor Derek especially. Formal Complaint Regarding Patient Rights Violations at New Season Treatment Center – St. Charles, MO Dear [Clinic Director or New Season Customer Service Department], On August 7, 2025, I am writing to formally complain about the mistreatment I have experienced at the New Season Treatment Center located at 2027 Campus Drive, St. Charles, MO 63301. As a patient in your opioid treatment program (OTP), I am entitled to respectful, dignified, and patient-centered care under federal regulations (42 CFR Part 8) and SAMHSA guidelines. Unfortunately, my experiences at your facility have violated these patient rights. Specifically, I have encountered the following issues: On August 7, 2025 and a lot of times before, I faced excessive wait times for dosing, which disrupted my work schedule and violated my right to timely access to care. I have been denied adequate counseling sessions, despite SAMHSA’s requirement for comprehensive counseling in medication-assisted treatment (MAT). On Aug 7, 2025 I was told one-on-one counseling was unavailable due to staff shortages. If not enough people were there for group counseling it would be cancelled too. I experienced disrespectful treatment from staff members who dismissed my concerns about my methadone dosage and my other illnesses...I have seizures and stomach issues I tried explaining but they spoke to me in a condescending manner and tried to punish me. These incidents violate my rights to: Timely and Accessible Care: Federal guidelines require OTPs to minimize barriers like excessive wait times or inflexible scheduling. Comprehensive Treatment: SAMHSA mandates that MAT include sufficient counseling (individual, group, or family), which I have not consistently received. Respectful Treatment: Patients are entitled to stigma-free, dignified care, free from dismissive or demeaning behavior. Confidentiality: My treatment information must be protected under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Fair Grievance Process: I have the right to file complaints without retaliation and receive a timely response. These issues align with concerns reported in patient reviews of the St. Charles clinic, including long wait times (often 2+ hours), lack of one-on-one counseling due to overburdened staff, and scheduling conflicts that hinder employment. This mistreatment has caused me severe anxiety and has stopped my progress to recovery as I had to stop cold turkey after coming to this God forsaken place every day for 6 months and once a week for 2 months. Now they want me to come back every day again. I just don't have the strength! They were supposed to support me not sabotage my recovery and undermine my progress with their egos, attitudes and control issues. And I was really starting to feel better. I respectfully request the following actions to address these violations: A formal investigation into the incidents described and immediate corrective measures to ensure compliance with patient rights and SAMHSA guidelines.

Response from the owner
Hello Chris, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We assure you that we take the security of our patients very seriously and we follow strict guidelines according to clinical, state, and regulatory requirements for treatment. We understand that long wait times are a challenge and we are always endeavoring to make improvements that will allow us to better serve our patients, including improved wait times across all centers. Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for them is our topmost priority. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and have forwarded it to leadership.
