I've had quite a few social workers and I never had a peer counselor, but they are top notch and people that need to help others in the social worker and peer counseling field. I was always reluctant to have a social worker because I never had help, but since these two I now have hope for the future. They both are excellent and caring workers that want to make a difference in their patients lives. They made me feel safe and that they wanted me know that I could have faith in living each day with meaning in my life. I just wanted to thank both of them for their outstanding and excellent care. I’ve been coming here since 2022 and have had better progress and experience than I’ve had with any other facility in my part of Illinois/St. Louis. Although the psychiatric program is horrible and the therapy program would be excellent if you weren’t spending more time getting to know a new therapist every 6 months instead of working on your issues. (so when another job position opens up and pays more these therapist up and leave). For the most part I don’t have anything bad to say about this place my doctor is Kevin Garner and he’s the best primary care Provider that I’ve ever had. He cares and if he can help me with anything he does are points me into the direction I’m supposed to go. I'm not very computer savvy so I don't write many reviews, but I have to take a minute to tell you about Kenzie and Heather. I've had quite a few social workers and I never had a peer counselor, but they are top notch and people that need to help others in the social worker and peer counseling field. I was always reluctant to have a social worker because I never had help, but since these two I now have hope for the future. They both are excellent and caring workers that want to make a difference in their patients lives. They made me feel safe and that they wanted me know that I could have faith in living each day with meaning in my life. I just wanted to thank both of them for their outstanding and excellent care. I was on suboxone a long time no issues. My other provider and myself decided after a medication interaction and a diagnosis of early onset arthritis due to being hiv positive over 12 years. I started having some withdrawal, and ultimately decided going back on methadone was going to be my best bet. I contacted them, and spoke to a counselor, Aaron. Right away he made me feel welcomed!!!!! I came in for my intake in February, and have been doing fantastic ever since!!!!! I really appreciate the compassion, and welcoming environment. I would gladly recommend them to anyone wanting help getting off opioids!!! Many options, and they have Narcan available in the office most of the time!!!!!’ From the Counselors, nurses, doctor, everyone!!!!! They always comment how much better I look since I started at the clinic too, and I love that!!!!!! I know you all deal with a lot!!!!! Went for my first visit today saw Alexandra Lucas I have the best experience from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out had the best visit they were super sweet to my granddaughter 😁 she definitely looks at you and pays attention to what you're saying to her and try to figure out the best solution I did walk out in pain still but it was a very good decision to go there today I really appreciate them 😁🙂

This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . The program is challenging as it should be wild demanding you to be your absolute best. There are no shortcuts and there are no excuses. Howeve, all of this is complimented with a level of care and consideration by staff who understand the human dilemma as they offer their expertise in wisdom to guide you through it. This is Concordance in essence as it is a place that restores value to the human spirit, the individual an ultimately the community at large. Absolutely life saving . This is an amazing program ,with amazing people helping rebuild lives from the ground up . I was homeless while pregnant and addicted to shooting drugs . At 5 months pregnant my heart failed and I was rushed to st. Louis, Missouri, all alone ,pregnant and about to die. Due to my condition that I had created via my addiction . I underwent Open heart surgery .I survived 2 months later in the hospital, no one was waiting for me after my discharge from hospital. I was homeless in a city unknown to me and due to have a baby in a few months .Queen of Peace took me in, and was waiting for me when I got there even paid for me an Uber from hospital to cathedral towers. I have God to thank for giving me Queen of Peace . Thank you .

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

I honestly don't believe any of the negative reviews, those are from people that do not have the ability to be pleased.The facilities are for helping people in need of the resources they supply and the resources are excellent. The staff is more than amazing every time I walk through the door!! I'd love to give them 10 stars!

This location has come along way compared to the way it was before. I’ve been coming here since 2022 and have had better progress and experience than I’ve had with any other facility in my part of Illinois/St. Louis. Although the psychiatric program is horrible and the therapy program would be excellent if you weren’t spending more time getting to know a new therapist every 6 months instead of working on your issues. (so when another job position opens up and pays more these therapist up and leave). For the most part I don’t have anything bad to say about this place my doctor is Kevin Garner and he’s the best primary care Provider that I’ve ever had. He cares and if he can help me with anything he does are points me into the direction I’m supposed to go. I recommend this place for anything from drug addiction to the flu are just getting your meds filled. Just go find a therapist or a psychiatrist somewhere else!!!

Ended ip in the Emergency room this week, and had an incredible experience. my care was second to none. ended up in a room for a couple days . If you are homeless in st Louis, you need to get connected with these people. They are saving lives. Be patient, get a case manager and they will help you work the programs available. You'll need to be seen by an intake coordinator to get the process started. They are non-judgemental. Do not hesitate to make that first step in the right direction.

So glad this clinic moved here last year. It is less than a mile from my apartment. Steen group of employees, but efficient in their duties. If you make them laugh, they really loosen up. Just don’t grab at any candy on the counter within reach. They laugh, but it is an evil laugh, like your hand was theirs for desert. Like them all.

This is a very nice VA! If you are a Veteran and not enrolled in the VA You should go to St Charles VA Clinic! Everyone is very nice and I have been to a lot of different Doctors and levels.
