This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. Some of the staffs inspiring stories and words is what got me to where I am today and I'm very thankful for that. Recovery will only work if u let it and it's hard work but yout have to put in the work to get in life you want to go . Don't give up . I would be lieing if I said recovery is easy but one day u will wake up and realize it gets easier u just got to.want it and put 100% in to get it

Although I have not personally needed their services, I have acquaintances who were very fortunate to have been helped by ARCA. I was also lucky enough to have been invited to the premiere of the movie Antagonist. It really opened my eyes to the work they are doing to try and transform the way addiction is handled and better ways to treat it.

Gateway showed me the way to save my life! I'm going to talk about the app. I love it. I have had struggles with having a daily routine my whole life. This app is something I use daily. There have been days when I was struggling that I would just scroll through people's posts and comment on all of them. It would help me get out of my head . I absolutely loved going to the alumni event at Busch stadium. I love that I've got to reconnect with people that I've gone to inpatient with.

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

Paije Douglas is absolutely AMAZING!!! I’ve never met anyone who is so devoted to helping people get clean! If you are truly looking to change your life and stop abusing opiates, I highly recommend coming to St Louis Metro Treatment Center and joining the IOP program that she is in charge of. She goes out of her way to get people set up with medical detox and then sober living and/or whatever other arrangements you need in order to be in a safe place so you can start healing! We have a lot of fun in her groups while still learning a lot about our addiction. Thank you Paije, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for helping me get my life right and supporting my recovery! Great place to get help with opioid addiction Mrs. Bell the director is amazing person who truly cares about her patience. The nurses are amazing and listen and the counselors truly care all of them.( It's been three years since I left my first review of MedMark and I still feel it is an accurate review I would like to point out that there's rules that you have to follow when you're in treatment and a lot of people don't follow those rules and when they're held accountable they leave bad reviews. The rules are there to help you not only gets sober but stay sober and I can wholeheartedly say that the director Miss Bell and her staff truly care about each and every patient at that clinic. ..)

I can’t say enough good things about this DUI counseling program. The teachers here truly go above and beyond…George, Troy, and Noel each share real-life stories and situations that make the lessons not only impactful but also relatable. You can tell they genuinely care about the work they do and about helping people learn and grow. Even Shelly, in the office, is kind and very relatable. What stood out to me most is that this program isn’t just for people with a DUI…it’s information that everyone should hear! The way it’s taught makes you reflect, and I honestly believe these lessons could benefit anyone, whether or not they’ve ever made the mistake of driving under the influence. It’s a truly valuable program run by people who care about making a difference.

Although I have not personally needed their services, I have acquaintances who were very fortunate to have been helped by ARCA. I was also lucky enough to have been invited to the premiere of the movie Antagonist. It really opened my eyes to the work they are doing to try and transform the way addiction is handled and better ways to treat it.

food is trash but what to you expect, bring you're own pillow and blanket if you can the stuff they give you is worse than bob barker. i`d buy the pillow and blanket brand new if you can or they might not allow you to bring it in they wash all used items you bring in so if its some huge comforter leave it at home I doubt that will slide. think small if you cant buy brand new. they have TVs with DVD players and movies to skim though, had roku while I was there may or may not still be around. there is a smoking section, you go as a group every couple hours. buy brand new packs of cigs before you enter open packs are not allowed. Other than those obvious flaws, flaws you would find everywhere. the staff were respectful and caring. This place is doing its part in saving peoples lives the staff are nice as long as you make an effort, they know you are going though a tough time you won't be forced to do anything if you don't want to, could be 7 days in bed only need to get up to do meds and heart rate readings. Would recommend to anyone.
