Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center is a Joint Commission accredited substance use and co occurring (dual diagnosis) disorder treatment center for adolescents. The facility is located on a 65 acre campus in Oxford, Mississippi, and offers 60 and 90 day residential treatment programs for teen boys. While there is no residential program for girls,
During a dark time for our family, the best referral we have ever received is to StoneWater Recovery for our adolescent son. The 90 day program is precisely what our son and our family needed. From the staff, to the setting, to the program, we thought StoneWater was incredibly thoughtful and effective in their delivery of mental health and substance use treatment. Our son went through some challenging personal experiences while there, all in the loving hands of the StoneWater therapists, staff and other young men in the program. We could not recommend StoneWater enough.

I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for the team at Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center. From the moment my son arrived, he was met with compassion, structure, accountability, and genuine care. Over the course of 90 days, I watched my son who felt lost begin to rediscover purpose, confidence, and hope again. The staff not only supported him through recovery, but also supported my family through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Every therapist, mentor, staff member, and peer played a role in helping him believe in himself again. The level of dedication, communication, and compassion shown here is something we will never forget. Recovery is a lifelong journey, but Stonewater gave my son a foundation to continue building on, and for that I am endlessly thankful.

As parent’s we were terrified, but choosing Stonewater was the best decision for our son. We spoke to the owners, The Fikes Family, from the beginning and they truly guided us from the beginning to the end. They have lived through addiction so they know the pain and they have followed the process themselves. So they personally have seen the process work. The staff truly cares about adolescent boys and their recovery. They treated our son with dignity. The counseling staff is so supportive and caring. They are wonderful at tough love. Our son was not so kind to his therapist in the beginning but she stood by him and they became the best of friends. He trusted her so much by the end. The RA’s and other support staff love their jobs and give so much of themselves to support those in recovery. The family program helped us heal and understand the process. We would highly recommend Stonewater to any parent looking for a compassionate, safe, and structured environment for their son. We cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for giving us our son back. Oxford Treatment Center in Oxford, Mississippi, is a part time drug and alcohol rehab facility for adults. After completing residential treatment I decided to continue my recovery at Resolutions. It was probably the best decision I've made in years. The PHP and IOP programs here are top notch. Keith, Brandon, Denise, Ms. Betty, Shaniya, and countless others provided an environment conducive to self reflection and positive growth. I will be forever grateful. If you are trying to decide where to continue treatment, you can stop looking. This is the place. The program works if you allow it. If you are struggling, there is hope.

They say healing takes a village, and Oxford Resolutions has truly been that village for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth, understanding, and genuine care. This program is, without question, the best treatment experience I’ve ever had. Hi I’m Chaz aka IGYPT and I’m a in recovery addict proudly sober now!! Case Management: Shaniya M., the case manager, is absolutely phenomenal. She makes sure no one ever feels left behind. Before you leave, she works closely with you to build a real, solid aftercare plan. Her support, her follow-through, and her genuine care are unmatched. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and set up for success. Her guidance is priceless. Therapists: The therapy team at Oxford is something special. Each therapist brings their own unique energy and expertise: • Brandon connects with clients on a real level. He brings humor, understanding, and relatability to group sessions, making difficult lessons easier to absorb. • Cekeidria “Kiki” is incredibly detailed and gets straight to the core of what needs to be addressed. She presents things in a way that clicks and opens your eyes in the best way. • Stephanie is amazing at breaking down situations and exploring the deeper layers of the world around us. • Keith, my personal therapist, has been the best therapist I have ever had. His insight, calm presence, and intellectual guidance have helped shift my mindset in powerful ways. He truly cares, and it shows in everything he does. He’ll go above and beyond to make sure you feel supported, grounded, and mentally clear. He’s the “zen guy,” and I absolutely love his work. I genuinely appreciate everything these therapists do. Their dedication is unmatched. Support Staff: The overall staff at Oxford is incredible. They are supportive, attentive, and they truly make sure you’re okay at all times. Denise is like the mother of the program—everyone respects her. She makes sure you’re up, prepared, and on time for class, and she does it with love. Peyton makes sure he’s her back bone. They are hilarious together • Second shift and night staff are absolutely amazing(joannn, Ashlynn, Joesph,Alana ,Barbie, Sonya, Chrissy, and others caring, patient, and always ready to help or make you feel comfortable. Housekeeping & Medical Team: • Betty, the housekeeper, is the sweetest soul—funny, kind, and always brightening the day. • Sarena, the nurse, does an incredible job managing the medical side of the program. She’s funny, sweet, caring, and extremely dedicated. She handles so much and still provides next-level care to every patient. Major kudos to her—she’s amazing! Overall Experience: The program is run extremely well—organized, structured, and filled with people who truly love what they do. When you first walk in, you’re welcomed not just into a program, but into a community full of compassion, support, and genuine warmth.of course there are some things that should be added however I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such an amazing program.. I recommend all Thank you to every staff member and therapist at Oxford Resolutions Outpatient Program. You have each played a major part in my journey of recovery, and I will forever be grateful. Literally the best rehab I’ve ever been to.i

My experience at Oxford Treatment Center in Mississippi was truly life-changing. Of all the treatment centers I've attended, Oxford stands out as one of the very best. One of the things that made the biggest impact on me was their Christian-based recovery program. The faith-centered approach helped me reconnect with God and provided hope, strength, and purpose throughout my recovery journey. The combination of evidence-based treatment and spiritual guidance created an environment where I could heal both mentally and spiritually. (Oxford Treatment Center) The counselors and therapists at Oxford were exceptional. They genuinely cared about my recovery, took the time to listen, and provided the tools and support I needed to address the underlying issues behind my addiction. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication made a lasting difference in my life. (Oxford Treatment Center) The equine therapy program was another highlight of my experience. Working with the horses taught me valuable lessons about trust, responsibility, patience, and self-awareness. It was a unique and powerful form of therapy that helped me grow in ways I never expected. (Oxford Treatment Center) The beautiful campus, supportive staff, and strong sense of community made Oxford feel like a place where real healing could happen. I am incredibly grateful for everything I learned there and for the people who helped guide me through recovery. If you're looking for a treatment center that combines excellent clinical care, outstanding counselors and therapists, meaningful faith-based recovery, and innovative programs like equine therapy, I highly recommend Oxford Treatment Center. It is one of the best treatment centers I have ever been to, and it gave me the foundation I needed to build a better life.

I am KaNiya White, and I consider myself a proud Compass veteran. I attended Compass PHP five times between the ages of 14 and 18 between 2021 and 2025. Compass truly helped shape who I am today. I often say I grew up there because many staff members knew me across multiple admissions and continued to support me. At times, it genuinely felt like a second family. PHP is not perfect. The days are long, there is limited outdoor time, frequent peer conflict, and you spend much of the day in the same spot. You are often expected to ignore peers who intentionally provoke you, group punishments can feel unfair, and the schoolwork is very basic, which can leave you behind academically. There were also a few staff members who were unprofessional at times, though they were NOT the majority. What mattered most was the support. Many staff members were a genuine shoulder to cry on during some of the hardest moments of my life. I've had deep, life changing one on one conversations with staff who truly cared about me as a person. I trusted them deeply and they know things about me that even my parents do not. I genuinely do not think I would be alive today without the help I received at Compass. I want to recognize staff who played an important role in my life. Mrs. Khalia, Nurse Nayla, Nurse Shylo, Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Loreda, Mrs. T, Mr. Travis, Mr. Zach, Mrs. V, Mrs. Tatianna, Mrs. Holloway, Mrs. Debra, Mr. Michael, Mrs. Katelyn, Nurse Connie, Mrs. Braden, Mrs. Kendra, Mrs. Kurshi, Mrs. Tamika, and Mrs. Trenika. Some no longer work there, but they deserve recognition for the impact they had on me. My therapist, Mr. Zach, had the greatest impact. He never gave up on me, pushed me out of my comfort zone in a healthy way, and helped me find my voice. He challenged me when I needed it and supported me when things were hard. He was the best therapist I have ever had. Despite its flaws, PHP also had meaningful positives. Step aways to talk privately with staff, process groups which were my favorite, the reward and Victory Bucks system, occasional art activities for victory members, and respect for preferred names and pronouns. When I first came to Compass at 14, I was shy, withdrawn, and unsure of myself. When I left for the final time at 18, I had confidence, stronger coping skills, motivation to live, and had worked through my trauma. Compass inspired me to pursue psychology. I am now in college majoring in Psychology and working toward becoming an LPC, and I hope one day to give back the way Compass once gave to me by being an intern there somehow. Overall, I am grateful for my time at Compass and for how much I grew there.
