This place helped me when I had a traumatic experience dealing with a sudden company shut down and other PTSD from family / relationship issues. Ivy Trails and the staff there were very compassionate and skilled at helping me navigate my feelings and medication adjustments. I am forever grateful and blessed to have chosen to go there for help. I highly recommend anyone who struggles with any type of mental illness disorders or other traumatic events to consider coming to Parkwood for help. Life is unpredictable and too much for people to handle all alone at times. Too often people think mental illness is not real or that the person suffering from mental crisis is too hard to understand or be around. I know from experience. I was last here in 2021. I just got out again and this time they have an all women's unit in a cottage like set up. I honestly had the best most fulfilling stabilization process at Ivy Trails. The smoking patio was very nice. The living area and dining area were very nice. It felt more like a camping cottage with help. I was phenomenal being able to talk to other women and get that female support in a safe controlled environment. Also the techs and miss Marquita (the therapist on Ivy) are phenomenal. If you follow the rules and have patience and actually want to get a lot out of your stay you'll do well here. Even when I was briefly on north (men are a trigger and I was scared) the techs were great. But if you're a woman and need a safe place Ivy is where you need to be. Also huge shout outs to Rachael, Tanya, Natalie and Tamika. This experience was invaluable and now I know where to go if I ever reach crisis again.

This place changed my life! Ivy Trails is an awesome program. Shout out to Tonya, Tracy, Jamie and Brittany. You guys made my dark days brighter. Downfalls would be that at times your treated like a child and there were a couple of staff that were downright rude. But all in all I highly recommend Ivy Trails!

I've been going here for over 9 yrs now. They have had issues with staffing but have always made sure I see the therapist or my doctor for my meds. The nurse has always contacted me back if I have any issues. My child is now seeing them on the children's side. Never had an issue with co-pays or staff. I do have to remind them of my yearly update due to computer program not up to date.

They definitely fixed up the place , no more beeping thermostat, no more wall paper pealings, feels less dark , the doctors room is the old waiting room and less cramped , it feels much more open, they got rid of the rugs and got nice bright colors, wood floor adds to welcomeness of the walls that were re painted, and though I do not know if it is permanent I hope it is great job fixing up the place :)

We didn’t know what to do when we realized our teen needed help. It’s not an easy decision to send your child to a residential treatment program and there aren’t many to choose from. I will say that sending our teen to Stonewater has been one of the best parenting decisions we have ever made. From our first phone call to admissions and to the last day of treatment, I have nothing but good things to say about the people who work there. They really care about helping these kids get their lives back on track. Trust the process and know that your child is in a great place with awesome people. Although my son was unable to attend Stonewater because our health insurance company refused to work with us, Bridget and Kyle went above and beyond to connect us with a facility that was “in-network”, closer to home, and will provide a comparable level of care. While I’m disappointed that my son could not attend Stonewater, I will be forever grateful for the time, energy, and care they afforded us in making sure that our son received the quality care he so desperately needs! Stonewater truly cares about the boys and families who participate in their recovery program. Dropping our son off, sight unseen, was the hardest thing to do in a dark time, but Stonewater staff supported us every step of the way and put our fears at ease. Communication was prompt, caring and informative, as we navigated residential treatment center operations. What appealed to me when making a decision was first- that it was family owned and operated by those in recovery or affected by addiction and or mental health needs, second- there are a max of 14 adolescent males at a time, third- it has a program ending duration of 90 days, fourth- it’s on 65 beautiful acres, fifth- staff were interested in my son’s specific needs and if he was a good fit, sixth- Stonewater’s emphasis on family participation is key throughout the entire process of healing and seventh- guidance for families to research and develop after care plans from the start to have a plan in place upon release. My son feels it’s one of the best facilities in the country, he’s not felt this healthy in years and says it changed his life. To hear his testimony speaks volumes to the quality of care Stonewater provides.

I was very apprehensive about going to a mental health facility. The staff here is amazing with assisting me with my mental health issues and seeing myself in a different light. Angel and Andrea are the first two staff members I met, they helped my with all the paperwork, insurance, and leave from work. Anything I needed they were there. I called 4 help with alcohol and I got a wonderful lady name Lana in support center. She gave some number, to try to help, but 2 of the. Numbers where not working. The last number I tried was working. But the person on other end was rude. But anyways, the support center is a great place to get advice. Thank ms. Lana in support center.

I really enjoyed my therapist, Michel Allen. She is a really compassionate and sweet woman. She has impeccable patience, is really understanding, and cares deeply about her job and clients. I never felt rushed, or dismissed by her. She listens thoroughly and provides great feedback. I really felt seen, heard, and welcomed by her services. I went here several years ago and this place changed my life and probably saved my life. Been clean ever since. I had to write a review after reading all the bad reviews. Which most I think are just people who didn't get their way, or people who don't like following rules. When I first went here, I was court ordered and didn't want to be there. But as soon as I arrived I felt a sense of peace, and I felt welcome. I learned a lot here, about myself, and learned how to deal with life on life's terms. The counselor I had years ago, Miss Brenda, is still there and she was amazing. And, the food there was amazing too! I was under weight when I got there, and gained almost 40 pounds in a month and a half!! Like any rehab facility, it's only going to work if you really want it to work. You have to be open to change, and let the people here teach you. There are rules, and the first 7 days is a blackout. So no phone calls for that first week. I ended up staying here for 6 weeks and I am forever grateful to Serenity. I hope I would never need their services again, but if I did, I would go back there in a heartbeat! And I would highly recommend Serenity to anyone who needs treatment. Remember, it works if you want it to. And if you are really ready to change your way of life. Go in with an open mind, and a willingness to change and learn. Like I said, I am FOREVER grateful to Serenity!!

The techs here are amazing and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you have everything that you need. The houses are super comfortable and are a recovering addicts dream. This place most definitely helps recovering addicts and alcoholics get the level of care, support, and supervision that they need. This place has helped to slowly integrate me into society and helps to teach you how to live again without drugs and alcohol to function.

Pax recovery .i myself have been here going on me a month now .And it's a good program .I would recommend it to others .We do attend groups daily and do go to out side meeting .They are very careing and strong with our recovery .Our choices and wants actaully matter here to them and they will go out there way to make it happen for us.They do provide food card to us .N they will help you get food stamps .The houseing is amazing and the people here are cool .I haven't had any issuse while being here.The techs here have been in our shoes and wants nothing but the best from us .Thos is a great program and o came from Florida to be here .I haven't used or had any THOUGTHS of using .I would recommend this program .And there willing to help you once your ready to leave .They go above and beyond for us .All are very respectful .Go here if you need help .But like every good days you may have bad days and there are many to talk to here weather it's a tech or us ours selfs.

Spero Health has been helping me out tremendously. The Doctor Warhaftig is an awesome doctor. The counselor Xtasy Grinn is super awesome as well. I love group therapy and getting to talk about my addiction and how far I've come. Don't get me wrong I still struggle. But I still have a long way to go. I've been going to spero health since the end of March and early April. And this now May. I'm happy that I've chose to do my recovery treatment plan with spero health I'd highly recommend them and wouldn't have it any other way.
