Update: 2025 Should have updated this long ago, but this VA clinic has gotten Sooo much better the last couple of years. Staff is friendly, helpful, and now return phone calls within a few hours. I feel heard and health concerns are taken care of soon. Thanks for all you do. I'm shocked and dismayed that something has not been done to aid the suffering veterans that are subject to the poor care provided ... wait, to say provided would imply that SOME care has been given by this clinic. It appears that rather than answer calls they just hang up and if you're lucky enough to be to wait through the useless voicemail system and are able to leave a message it won't be returned. I've been trying to get through to this clinic for over six months and have yet to make contact. I've written my senators and an currently working on placing an OIG complaint. This office needs to be investigated and if need be, totally restaffed. Veterans should not have to put up with this kind of mistreatment after having served to protect their country.

This clinic works as a go to place near Meridian MS. Offers a lab, nurses, social workers, and ways to check on VA appointments. The only real problem is the parking lot in front is tight and drivers sometimes hit parked vehicles. The other issue is it opens at 0800, would be great especially 2 days a week is to open early to do bloodwork at lab so one can then get to work after.

My review is primarily about Dr. Amelia Kelley and Ms Rita. Dr. Kelley from the beginning has always been very understanding of my issues with without dismissing them as others have done, working with me to come up with a treatment plan and listening to feedback. She has always put patient care above anything else. Ms Rita has always been a cheerful person to talk to. Radiating positive vibes everytime you walk through the door or call up there. She's always been able to solve any issue I've come to her with. I know that Weems also has many mental health programs to help the community as well.

The Best place to go if you are truly ready to be where your purpose is in life and being that way without drugs in your life or whatever you may need help with that is preventing you to be who you are suppose to be . DW helped transformed me into where I am today..I personally had a spiritual awakening on Dec 17th , 2025. I on my own free will admitted myself with the help of my support team to DW on Jan. 10th, 2026. Long story short after reading reviews on several other places to go for help DW is the one I always came back to. The staff ,the counselors, the nursers, and the cooks are truly blessings too,! The therapist at BTR are very professional and personal. They are helping me to understand and further develop the skills I need in my recovery. I was looking for a place that understood the journey I have been on for the past 11 years. I still needed to work through some things. The entire staff at Bridge to Recovery has been excellent in meeting those needs. I look forward to continuing to work with this staff so I can improve my character and become the best version of me! My stay at Pine Grove was as close to perfect as a facility can get. My nurses were all very caring, attentive, and helpful. It is because of my night nurse that I made it through my first night and continued with the program. I arrived in a state of panic that I’ve lived with for the last 5-6 years, and by day three I was feeling like a normal human again. My psychiatrist, Dr. Bossi, is absolutely wonderful. I was recently in the Gratitude program and can confidently say that it saved my life. I came in hopeless and discouraged with recovery and left with more hope for the future than I thought was possible. I was impressed from the beginning when they gave me a set of workbooks on sex addiction upon arrival. The nature of the program being tailored to sex addiction made it a million times more powerful and effective than either of the dual diagnosis or general addiction treatment programs I'd gone to before. I really appreciated how structured and rigorous it was as the weekly projects and assignments allowed me to go much deeper than I would have been able to without them. The therapists are all phenomenal and are true professionals at what they're doing. Even the interns/externs I worked with were amazing. On top of everything, insurance covered all 75 days I was there. I will be forever grateful for my time at Pine Grove.

These folks helped me get back on my feet and returned to productive work when I was 45 with months of therapy for a low back injury. Helped again with therapy on old burn scars [covering 1/3 of my thigh and bellybutton to spine on same side] escaping repeated multiple scar revision surgeries. I’m sure I’m not the first person to retire and end up in rehab. The Estate saved my life. I finally came to terms with my drinking and my dependency on alcohol through addressing health issues the staff at the Estate were instrumental with helping me sort out and plot my way forward. I continue to have contact with Amy and some of my fellows and have returned several times and it’s a good thing to be 30 months sober and I attribute in part to the experience of the estate. I’m an open book…I have embraced AA as part of my sobriety program…in terms of working the steps and getting sponsor and continuing to work work work… if you’re considering the Estate …I recommend opening yourself up to change…because if nothing changes, nothing‘s gonna change.

The Estate took me at my lowest and brought me back to life. The staff there are amazing!’ They really show you they care about you. You can tell that they’re doing what they love. It’s beautiful there. I was a little scared being in the woods like that at first but it turned out to be amazing. It’s so peaceful . It’s gorgeous! The cottages are really nice and spacious. They helped me with my mental health as well as my addiction. Because of the Estate I feel like me again!! I’ve got my life back and that feels so good!

(Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. I have friends who work here, and I’ve seen firsthand how much they genuinely care about the veterans they serve. Many of the doctors, nurses, and support staff go above and beyond every day, often under challenging circumstances, to make sure veterans are treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. The staff works hard to listen, advocate, and provide the best care possible, and that commitment does not go unnoticed.
