There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

I have only ever been to one other treatment center. (if you could even call the 1st that) and just by the level of care, commitment, compassion shown, and individual concern shown by each and every one of the members at NOLA DETOX, ALL of whom go above and beyond for every single patient and/or resident that comes into their care. Words alone, just simply cannot describe. If you are just sick of living the way you have been. Or you want to be the person that you know you are capable of being. You owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance of recovery success you can find and call the people at NOLA DETOX. From the executive director Cedric Royal. The head nurse Ms. Opal. All of the resident nurses, Yoshi, Jovianna, Stephanie, Ariel, Sam, just to name a few. Then there are the techs Jonathan, Danielle, Derrick, Kevin, Ms. Aqua, Cherry, India, Hunter, Adam, Ms. Kendra, and yes, even Patrick.(😁Lol). Jonathan, my counselor has been a godsend in innumerable ways, and is a wonderful person and someone who I call not just a friend. But a brother. And that is a very beautiful thing, indeed...The entirety of it is a one of a kind experience that you receive there that let's you know NOLA DETOX is NOT JUST ANOTHER treatment facility. They are all a FAMILY, and the environment and atmosphere I recommend and suggest highly to anyone looking for treatment to reach out to admissions without hesitation... Residential treatment and their follow-up IOP services are both first class. And they are what I owe my recovery, my health, and my present-day sobriety to. As well as the wellbeing and sobriety of some people whom I love dearly. Including my fiance. and I do not even want to imagine where my life would be right now if I had not have had the courage to take that initial step and actually held my own self accountable for the way my life had become. It was MY actions and MY choices that had led to the unmanageable state of a mess that my life was in. Having tried it my way so many times and each time falling short, I was so close to giving up. And what a shame and waste of life that would have been. Therefore I'm glad I didn't give up. Instead I gave in, gave it to my lord and savior, and gave the caring professionals at NOLA DETOX a call. Although I would like to add that New Orleans was like being at a 5 star hotel...the building ETC ..but they might be a little understaffed...the TECH's definitely do not have more than 2 hands & 2 feet & should be paid more.Bayou Vista..was like being at a Nice Motel ..but again they really do need more staff members or TECH's ON THE DAY SHIFTS & they should get paid more NO MATTER what their backgrounds are .. especially if they've been there for a while and provide loyalty.... The staff were amazing. Detox they took very good care Of me. No one knew my bad behavior, caused by seizures. 5 different types. Walking talking worst. I'm mean violent, after seizures. They dealt with me, kindly, I wasn't nice at all. I still have doctors they set me up with. 5/6 years ago, I was there. Before you judge staff, look at yourself. Detox, is hard. This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. Thank you so much to Paul, Caroline, Tyra, Charla, Nurse Niki, Dr Caudill , Brittany, Evan, Sam, and the rest of the staff!

I was worried after reading all these negative reviews, my mom doesn’t speak much English so I was scared the staff would mistreat her , but I spoke with her everyday and she said the staff was very kind , she mentioned they take showers daily , get new scrubs everyday. The facility did smell like urine . I was also able to visit her , a counselor (Angelle Hobbs) got a hold of me and was very communicative . Which put my mind at ease .

Zero stars. This place doesn't deserve even half of one star. A family memeber was admitted to beacon behavioral on the eastbank with a 72 hour mandatory hold. Since then, it has already four days & they have yet to guve her a proper discharge date. Several staff members have given her several different discharge dates that they were "unsure" of it being legitimate or not. Many staff members have given her dirty looks, gossiping about her and other patients, and simply treating them like animals. My family member is not an animal, she is not a prisoner, she is not mentally unstable. Yet that are treating her as if she is not a real person, as if her health doesn't matter. There is terrible communication within this facility as there are nurses who have communicated that they were "just as confused as" me when i asked questions. My family member has communicated with me that there was a mosquito cooked into her hashbrowns that they served her for breakfast. Another incident is that when she asked a nurse for creamer for her coffee, the nurse proceeded to give her a dirty look, roll her eyes, and walk away without saying a word and never giving her creamer for her coffee. I'm unsure as to how this is supposed to be a place for people to go for rehabilitation and treatment purposes when the staff if inconsiderate, immature, and uncaring for those in their care. There are very few staff members that i have heard good things about. This is unbelievable and this place should be shut down or reevaluated with a different staff and leadership. Patients are not treated well and there is no proper communication amongst staff.

Mary song allows women an opportunity to step out of their routine and marinate in the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is only then that they can be transformed and walk into all that the Lord has for them. While enduring a brutal chemotherapy and radiation treatment protocol for Stage 4 cancer and with my wife pregnant and the birth of our third son imminent my evil mother in law used this as an opportunity to steal our kids with outrageous lies to DCFS and to get our kids back we both were ordered into IOP for Substance Abuse regardless of what I was found to have was prescribed by my cancer Dr. I wasn't real hopeful for this government funded agency but I couldn't have been more wrong Our counselor, Ms Pearl Watson facilitated a diverse class of court or job ordered clients with a firm hand that demanded accountability but rewarded those in compliance . with compassion, empathy and a deep knowledge of tools to access for sustainable recovery. The Clinical director , I believe named Tianna had designed a treatment plan that was easy to learn, and encouraged us to reveal things about our behavior that didn't seem apparent at the time.These people were a rare mix of empathy and creative genius that make me grateful for the program and i will be eternally grateful for the impact they made in my life and the others I consider family forever. Great place that makes me sad to leave.

After receiving 30 days of inpatient treatment for alcohol, I continued my care at Lake Wellness. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him. He created a safe and non-judgmental space for his clients, and each day of the week had a specific agenda, which kept the meetings fresh and interesting. I thoroughly appreciated the activities and concepts that we explored. His group was open-minded and empathetic and was a place for growth, healing, and connection for me. I made friends I will have for life in this program and will forever be grateful for the care and support I received at Lake Wellness.

Springfield Wellness Center is the first step that God led me to discard my old ways and build a new way of life. I have complete Gratitude for this clinic and more importantly Dr. Paula and the whole staff at Springfield Wellness Center. Nurse Angela is exactly what her name means an angel and messenger from God and a great nurse too. All the nurses fit this same description they were comforting, extremely attenuative, and calmed my anxiety as well as make me smile which was not easy for me at that point in my life. I entered the treatment close to death and saturated with Alcohol I left 10 days clean. I did follow with IOP treatment and embraced the AA fellowship program and today by the Grace of God and his will I am 4 months and 10 days clean of any harmful substance. Springfield Wellness Center is a special place, the grounds, facilities, food, NAD treatment, most of all the people that are there. I am blessed to have started my new journey there and highly recommend their program of care. I hope that I will be able to revisit in the future for NAD boosters.

Starting with the help, and guidance prior to coming to the facility, followed by the time at the facility during the treatment.
The staff makes you feel like family, their open arms make this experience be on a level no other places offer.
It welcomes the whole family, with support, and years of wisdom each person has.
It feels like a home away from home. A support system that will always be there for all. I could go on and on. It is a 5 plus star I can guarantee you.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. I have been a patient since before Katrina. I get reminders about appointments, calls from the pharmacy to check each month how I am doing with medications before they send them to me. My counselor is a very nice person that goes out of there way to make me comfortable and happy. My doctors a little rough around the edges, but the job gets done and done right.
