I have been using the Hammond VA Clinic as my primary care facility since September 2016 and I have to say that I have been well served with my medical needs and services there. Prior to this I used the Baton Rouge VA Clinic for at least 25 + years. As a long time VA patient having experienced Veteran's Health care services now for over 30 years I rate the Hammond VA Clinic as a premium professional health care facility.

Every time I go in for any kind of appointment, no matter what it is. I am in and out. They always give me what I need in a record amount of time. I have never seen a clinic ran this amazing before!

This clinic is absolutely amazing. Every single person that I have come into contact with has been professional caring and kind. I had been addicted to opiates for almost 15 years and had tried many things to get clean over the years, but was unsuccessful. This is the first time I've ever been able to manage my life in the way that I see fit. I highly recommend Baarts Clinic in Hammond. Megan,Shelby,Preston, and Chad are the best at treating you with respect and with kindness. They all are consistently outstanding, exceeding health care the way it is suppose to be in all clinics. I am completely impressed with their professionalism and their caring nature. This is the only clinic I've been to that truly treats you like a human being. They dont treat you like you're a criminal (like all other clinics) They listen, and truly care. They are by far the best Clinic!!They listen they truly care. I can not thank them enough for their kindness and understanding. This Facility is Absolutly Amazing. Ive been seeing dr. Calhoun for a few years now. She os the nicest most Amazing doctor ive ever met. The entire staff is friendly, compassionate and super supportive. Theyll never know the Lasting impact the they have had on my Life!!

I think these people just changed my life. After a horrific experience in a different state I have been so reluctant to reach out for help. From the very first phone call two weeks ago to my appointment today every woman that I have been in contact with at this facility has been absolutely life-changing. Thank you so much for making me feel like I am valid and worth the time and effort.

I write this review after having a horrific experience at Oceans’s Behavioral Health in Hammond in July of 2023. (I encourage you to read my review for them before allowing your dementia family member go there!) When my dad was sent again to geriatric psych at Lakeview, I was scared we were about to experience the same thing again, especially after seeing the reviews on here! However, our experience at Lakeview was completely different. My dad spent 4 weeks at Lakeview over the Christmas holidays and beyond. I was able to visit him between 3:30 and 4:30 everyday. The facility was very clean and simply resembled a hospital setting. I was escorted to his room each day but was able to puts eyes on other patients, the group room, the nursing station, etc. while there. The doors to patient rooms were open and I never saw anything disturbing or anyone tied to a bed as one lady who left a review wondered about. I never heard any shouting or yelling by staff or patients. It simply just reminded me of a normal hospital setting. I visited my dad almost every single day during his four weeks there. In those visits, I often checked my dad’s body for marks and gauged how he felt about the staff that often dropped in to say hello when I was there. My dad seemed clean, generally content, awake and aware, chatty and friendly with the staff. Everyone who interacted with he and I were very kind. Kianti (Tay) who escorted me daily was the sweetest gentleman and my dad really enjoyed him. Overall, I was pleased with the care he received. As a caregiver to a Dementia patient with behavioral issues it’s tough to be their advocate and protect them. I would allow my dad to go back to Lakeview if the need arises. I hope this review helps someone else.

I recently graduated the IOP program and I thank Woodlake for everything they've done to help me heal from addiction I highly recommend their trauma therapy that's what really gave me the breakthrough I needed to stay sober

I believe woodlake is a amazing place. It gave so much back to those who were lost,and I think it's stupid for anyone to say anything else about this program. Kevin keeps it real and shows all of us our problems so we can become what we are suppose too. Thanks for being there for me when I was broken. Always and forever grateful.

Woodlake center is the best place for anyone to get treatment and recovery.the staff has people who really care about the people they help and understand how to help them put there life back together.they have Education on Tuesday night that helps everyone stay grounded in the program.And Kevin James for which anyone who is serious about changing there life,listening and understanding this man is the key to recovery.If not for him I would not be alive today.thanks Woodlake for be there when I needed them...

I started going to Miracle place about two months ago and I haven't been the same since 🙃. I have since grown so much closer to god and have been surrounded by a real church family. The childlike feeling while serving christ really got deeper when I hit those double doors. This church really builds it's people for god in the best ways I never thought we're possible. I can't wait for Thursdays and Sundays to run through those doors with a smile. Everything from the Pastor's, worship team, dinners and family is like no other church I've ever attended.

This place is changing people’s life’s with the power of Lord Jesus Christ! I’ll forever be thankful for this beautiful church and the program it provides.

Dr. Monette is a great psychiatrist. I've been seeing him for about 11 years & he has helped me tremendously. He is very caring & genuinely listens. I hope he never leaves. The staff is friendly also. The counselors are a different story from my experience.

Staff are good, beds are alright but need improvement, and over all the place is fine but I think the staff deserve better pay since I saw what they have to handle there and I know how medical facilities pay their staff sometimes and the things the staff have to deal with here warrants a increase in their pay for what they deal with

Ms.shon is Amazing, caring, and detailed in her couseling. I really enjoy her group!

I bring my dad to this clinic for his checkups. Every time we’re there, I’m very impressed by the people who work there for their kindness and professionally contact. We have never had to wait long to be seen. Dr Bailey is very thorough and never rushing my dad to answer her questions. My dad and I are very happy to be able to go to this clinic

At this place, no one cares if you get your meds on time or not. The only good thing here is about three nurses, who do all they can, but their work is not enough, they do as much as they can. This center is a joke, the worst clinic ever!

We have a family member needing help the last 4 months and has finally been put in a hospital that wants to help. Third hospital and we finally have a diagnosis (thanks to St James) and a team of professionals that are dedicated to making sure patients receive the best care possible. We can finally sleep at night knowing our loved one is where she needs to be and the staff there is working hard to give her her life back. She will never be the same but that’s a good thing, her mind was torturing her and the staff there is teaching her how to live with her disease and prescribing the medicine that will help stabilize her. St James is the best place if you have any mental health issues, the absolute best.

All the staff are extremely kind and took extra good care of my daughter. The lady, I think her name is Breanna, that helped me get my daughter's belongings to my truck is very sweet!
