The staff were amazing. Detox they took very good care Of me. No one knew my bad behavior, caused by seizures. 5 different types. Walking talking worst. I'm mean violent, after seizures. They dealt with me, kindly, I wasn't nice at all. I still have doctors they set me up with. 5/6 years ago, I was there. Before you judge staff, look at yourself. Detox, is hard. No actual detox , 3 hrs per day 5 day's a week rehab ?! My brother goes here , I would not suggest sending you or your Loved one here unless you only want out of the house for 3 hrs a day .

I was worried after reading all these negative reviews, my mom doesn’t speak much English so I was scared the staff would mistreat her , but I spoke with her everyday and she said the staff was very kind , she mentioned they take showers daily , get new scrubs everyday. The facility did smell like urine . I was also able to visit her , a counselor (Angelle Hobbs) got a hold of me and was very communicative . Which put my mind at ease .

My wife went there with a breakdown. She is fragile both mentally and physically. The treated her with love and kindness. We are blessed to have found such a warm and loving place. May God bless and keep the entire staff. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart

Mary song allows women an opportunity to step out of their routine and marinate in the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is only then that they can be transformed and walk into all that the Lord has for them. There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

While enduring a brutal chemotherapy and radiation treatment protocol for Stage 4 cancer and with my wife pregnant and the birth of our third son imminent my evil mother in law used this as an opportunity to steal our kids with outrageous lies to DCFS and to get our kids back we both were ordered into IOP for Substance Abuse regardless of what I was found to have was prescribed by my cancer Dr. I wasn't real hopeful for this government funded agency but I couldn't have been more wrong Our counselor, Ms Pearl Watson facilitated a diverse class of court or job ordered clients with a firm hand that demanded accountability but rewarded those in compliance . with compassion, empathy and a deep knowledge of tools to access for sustainable recovery. The Clinical director , I believe named Tianna had designed a treatment plan that was easy to learn, and encouraged us to reveal things about our behavior that didn't seem apparent at the time.These people were a rare mix of empathy and creative genius that make me grateful for the program and i will be eternally grateful for the impact they made in my life and the others I consider family forever. Great place that makes me sad to leave.

I have had the honor of doing volunteer work at Mary Song. Talking, working side by side and worshiping with these troubled ladies has been a blessing to me. It has been a privilege to see the wonders of God’s love work in their lives.
Mary Song is truly a blessing for all ages of women.
I encourage any woman, young or old who is having difficulties in their lives; whether if it’s drug related, depression or just trying to sort things out in their lives, to just try Mary Song Restoration Center. Their lives will be changed forever.
The pastors and staff reach out to these women with God’s undying love for them and help them through the difficult times with the Word of God. No matter what they have done or where they have come from or what they have endured in life, the atmosphere at Mary Song is God’s LOVE for them.
It’s God and His presence at Mary Song and the teaching of the Word of God at Mary Song that breaks the yoke of bondage off their lives.

There are many rehabs in the New Orleans area, but Mary's Song truly is one of a kind. The staff takes the time to lead each woman to freedom in Jesus Christ individually. They place a great deal of importance on spending time in the Presence of God. Without God's intervention, rehab is just behavior modification. Here there is real change as the women get to know their Creator and their purpose on earth.

This was the first time going to Compass. The staff there were very compassionate and supportive of whatever it was that you were going through. I can’t praise them enough as I spent almost four months at this facility. The therapists and educators were very knowledgeable and supportive. But I really have to give it up to the Program Director, as she is the glue that holds the facility and staff together. I can’t praise her and the staff enough! Keep up the good work 🙏🏾

I love this place!! The doctor that's in there is Awesome and knows his stuff. The counselors are are amazing!! They don't just pretend to care they actually care about how you feel and why and they try to help as much as possible!! My intake person Sara was amazing my dosing nurse Victoria is funny and awesome!! The front staff that's checks us in awesome.. everyone there is so down to earth and tries to make everything feel comfortable for you. They don't look at you like most people do when you see and addict. They just see us as human beings cause that's what we are. We at human beings that families to not just some junkie. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get help. The first 30 days is rough cause you have to go there every morning before you really get your day started but all that changes after you make it to your 30 day mark which is awesome. Definitely give this place 5 stars!!!

This was the first time going to Compass. The staff there were very compassionate and supportive of whatever it was that you were going through. I can’t praise them enough as I spent almost four months at this facility. The therapists and educators were very knowledgeable and supportive. But I really have to give it up to the Program Director, as she is the glue that holds the facility and staff together. I can’t praise her and the staff enough! Keep up the good work 🙏🏾

They DO NOT take healthy blue like the website says. I have been going here for about 4 months now and they just keep saying they are waiting on the paperwork or something. They should really take it down from the website and contact medicaid and let them know they are not taking it cause healthy blue is the one who gave me this doctors info cause they said that they took my insurance but that wasn't the case. Other than that I love applegate recovery and all the employees , everyone is really nice and understanding.
