The staff is amazing here they really care about you and your sobriety. This was the best desicion I took. From Mr Devan teaching and breaking down everything in a way that a 2 yr old will understand it. By the time he's done with you your going to learn and understand your addiction and the disease. About the mental obsession and the physical allergy. You'll see what it means to see someone love and live his calling in helping others. From Miss Tori recieving you on Day 1 when your nervous and scared She'll make you feel calm and at ease before passing you to the next person. To Mr Rick doing your admission even he makes you feel at ease and relaxed and Your treated as a human being without any judgements sometimes you forget what it is to be treated like a person and not be seen as something less. From the Counslers Mr Alfred, Brandon. They really take helping you in your journey really serious. Mrs Ronda and Mario wow do they open your eyes thru certain excersize and experiences That you'll take part in i wont spoil it but if you want to experience life changing moments this is the place to be. The Staff is just so amazing and caring and take their role in helping you very serious and to the heart. From all the Techs that go to the ends of the world to help you and take care of you as best as they can and do as much as they are able to do trust they will do with love and empathy.The detox Techs Rachel ,JT, Mr Henry they make detox very comfortable. In Residential when you come in from detox and the residential techs Felix,Deval, Mr Jefferson,Jada, Carly, Cara,BIG Mike these Techs go all out for you. And they truly love you. As long as your respectful and mindful and respect their time and effort they put in helping you without even knowing you but all these staff members show you love and kindness that you haven't experienced in a long time. and without any judgment and putting you down becasue they been in your shoes and know what you are feeling and going thru casue basically all have been where you are. This is a life changing program trust me when it say that and I garuntee if you really want and take your sobriety serious then this is where you want to go and be. Please if your second guessing if you should go just take the leap of faith and go. you won't regret it and you'll be glad you did. The place is super clean . The food is amazing. Your stay is very comfortable. They try to remove any obstacle that can or will deter you from achieving sobriety so that you can just focus on you and your sobriety. Even the nurses there take really good care of you. SO PLEASE JUST TAKE THE LEAPNOF FAITH AND GO TAKE YOUR SOBRIETY BACK YOU THANK ME THAT I ENCOURGED you TO GO. Just do it ONE DAY AT A TIME! God really worked in my life this past month,along with Brandon and Devan pointing me in the right direction.May God bless them and keep them safe.

I am so grateful for this place and the wonderful staff! I have been going here for 7 years and have remain SOBER for every single day since I first stepped foot in the building. The Baton Rouge comprehensive Treatment Center has saved my life! The nurses, counselors, and other staff, are always so kind. They genuinely make you feel important here. Of course everything has its negatives, but the good completely outweighs the bad. I recommend this treatment center to anyone who is battling addiction to opioids. You don't have to do it alone! The amazing people at this center will help you every step of the way, and make sure you are as comfortable as possible during the withdrawal stage. Change is possible! GOD IS GOOD! Thank you staff!!

Since Mr. John became director this place has changed 100% for the better. The staff cares about the clients in my opinion. Do your self a favor and let them help you.

Everyone from the ladies checking you in to the nursing make you feel like you are their number one priority. Such empathy in a difficult setting….angels.

All involved with the bone marrow bi-opsy were considerate and helpful to make it a comfortable experience. Main problem was parking for the procedure was not helpful for us since my wife uses a walker. She drives well but the walking was the problem.

My family member was at Baton Rouge Behavioral last week. His stay was completely comfortable. He was treated with kindness and loved the doctor. When I called to check in on him the nurses were so nice. Morgan was very helpful. I would recommend this place to someone needing mental health assistance.

I attended the Intensive outpatient program there. It surpasses other similar programs I have tried in the past. The team there really cares for the patients and makes sure they help you get to class. Very responsive with any problems you may face even after hours. Great program and great team they have to support the needs of the clients. I highly recommend this if your in the need of similar services.

As with anything in life you ONLY get what YOU put into something, including mental health. I WAS skeptical about embarking on this with Beacon only because my inpatient stay many years ago with them was forced. Everyone that I have encountered in my 3 day a week day program has changed my perspective. From Mrs. Lisa, Alyssa all the way through Ms. Jessie and Patricia. I'm enjoying my days a lot more.

Can't speak for today, but I entered Tau Center 3/5/95 (29.5 years ago. Week 1 in the detox ward, 2 in the inpatient wing, 3&4 outpatient. I have now been sober 10,797 days, ODAT!! God is good!!

This is a true review about Ocean behavioral health on Howell Boulevard in Baton Rouge. My significant other Went to Umc New Orleans, at least four times this year, each time being discharged without being better. This last time, Umc did not accept the Behavior health section at Umc center two hours away to Ocean Baton Rouge. At the time this was troubling to me, but, turned out to be a good thing because Umc was very difficult to deal with as a caregiver. Ocean Baton Rouge is like night and day compared to Umc, Ocean was cleaner and better maintained then Umc, and the staff could not be any nicer or more professional. the staff at Oceans always answer the phone always answers your questions, and they are always nice and polite and professional .I would recommend to anyone in need of help with behavioral health to consider Ocean Baton Rouge, Two hours one way is a long trip to make, but I would gladly make it instead of the 20 minute one way to Umc. I would absolutely bring my loved one to Ocean and the future. Should she ever need Behavior health help again.

It was the best decision I made for myself. The staff is professional and friendly, and always there. I would like to say going in always remember patience is a virtue in the beginning, but the outcome that you get leaving is amazing. I have learned so much about myself and others. I will always be the best person I can be. thanks for all the nurses all the MHT for their amazing support they gave me through my journey.
