Palmetto is the best treatment center in Louisiana by far. Stuart, Jerry, Joseph and Beck have certainly changed my life for the better. I would say that they gave me a life. A second chance! This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

I just moved to the area and was looking for a PCP. Luckily I found Dr Khurana. He immediately was very kind and caring and listen to all my problems. He prescribed me the medications I need to Function on a daily basis. His office staff is awesome and always Prompt to answer the phone and answer any an all questions you might have. Scheduling appts is easy and fast and he accepts almost all insurances. I would highly recommend Dr Khurana to any person looking for a REAL caring doctor who needs help with the ailments he treats. He has done wonders for my life and My Work/Home life have greatly improved! It only lets you put 5 stars but I Promise know Star could he high enough for the level of care he provides! Awesome Doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. George for about 3 or so months now and he and his staff are by far the best. Dr. George is easy to talk to and the ladies in his office are welcoming and extremely tenantive.

I’m a landlord with Responsibility House. The staff has always been easy to work with and very receptive to my needs. They follow up with tenants and I feel like I am making a difference. I have nothing but great things to say about working with them. The tenants have all seemed like people who need help pursuing a better life. Really cool idea for helping people when they need the help. I am going on three years of working with them.

If you need help with your addiction, you should try Responsibility House. Their program is very structured and one of the best ones out there.

I’m traumatized by this place. They drain your cell phone to make it impossible to deal outside life. Never again. I needed love to heal and this disgusting place is punishment based. Never ever going again and I don’t recommend this it at all unless you need severe and harsh treatment

The nicest most gracious people at GCTC and I can truly say everything they say about making people feel comfortable and accepted is ABSOLOUTELY true! They are amazing people and are helpful informative while making you feel so comforted at the same time...I just can't say enough good about this amazing center and what they do for so many people every day..I HIGHLY recommend GCTC to anyone in need of help with any substance abuse problem, they will get you through any of it and literally give you your life back..they did for me and my father...God bless all the people that work there and helped and continue to help so many people every day!!

They don't care about you and I've never had an experience like this saying I'm failing my ua and different substance in my ua but I'm fixing to start taking another test when I leave there at the urgent care down the street and because I wanted it did again they wanted me to pay cash money I call the hot line and they told me I wasn't supposed to have to be paying for that.ive been there sense July and have never had a console and it won't let you post ur review if you don't push a star

If you're in over your head and can't figure out how to stop on your own then there is no other better place. I've been to many, i mean many many. This is a serious place for people looking for sobriety. Odyssey house is for fun & games, Bridge House is for those who want it or at least wanna taste of what being sober is.

Called several times to get in touch with a patient and was just told "they would call me back". Unacceptable. So unacceptable. Still haven't heard back from them so doubt the message was put through.

Let me start off by saying that I am highly educated, come from a wonderful family and have an amazing career making well over 6 figures a year. Why is this relevant? Because I know exactly how people who aren't like me are unfortunately degraded and dismissed in mental health facilities. They are treated like worthless trash. Look at all of these horrible reviews but no one pays attention because they are considered to be subhuman. Drug addicts, on government assistance, criminals, low lifes. Basically, not worth a damn. I am bipolar. High functioning, but still mentally ill. My illness has led to 5 involuntary psychiatric commitments at several different facilities in the greater New Orleans area. I've never written a review until now...A while ago I was told mental health facilities don't exist to get you help but rather to keep you safe. That in and of itself is what's wrong with the mental health care system in Louisiana but when you can't even keep me or my fellow mentally vulnerable bunk mates safe, we have a huge problem. I was sexually assaulted and threatened with physical violence, as were others in my unit. The facility's response, avoid these individuals as there was no where else to house them. If we didn't avoid the aggressors, we would have our stays extended because we would be considered instigators. I expected so much more from an Oschner facility. Based on the reviews, I tried to go to another facility but was denied based on lack of space, which was a lie. I was denied my mood stabilizers, which I've taken for nearly 10 years, on 6 different occasions. I could have faced life threatening side effects from abruptly stopping the medication. My mother, who is my biggest advocate, was repeatedly ignored when concerned about my treatment and my safety. Myself and others were denied hygiene kits because they were requested at "incorrect" times. You're fortunate if you ever get to meet with a psychiatric professional longer than a few minutes. Ultimately, a coroner decides your fate based on a 2 minute conversation. The better your insurance, the longer you stay. There was only one positive, an aide named Ola (likely misspelled). He was the kindest soul. Otherwise, the nurses never looked up from their paperwork (what paperwork they were reviewing is still a mystery) and the remaining aides were too busy blasting vulgar music at 830 in the morning. Oh, and HIPPA violations were rampant. I was, however, fortunate to meet some of the sweetest people that simply wanted help. Unfortunately, they'll never receive it. I will be their voice! You will not dismiss us! You will not disregard us! You will be exposed for what you have done!

Do not send your family here. If i could leave 0 stars i would. My sister was placed here last night. I was on my way to drop off some clothes to her. Around 11:15 as i’m pulling into the facility, i receive a call from my sister. She’s hysterical and she’s trying to talk but i can’t understand her. I told her to catch her breath and explain to me what was going on. She tells me another patient put their hands on her just before she called me. Keep in mind me she just turned 18. When I went inside i stood at the door for 15 minutes ringing a bell. No one was even at the front desk. Anyways I ask the tech who came out of the back if there was a protective procedure that is followed or if the patient will be moved to another unit. She just proceeded to say no one could have put their hands on her because there are nurses all over the floor. However my personal experience here shows this is Untrue. I’ve had 3 situations in one 5 day visit where i was being jumped by two or more patients that don’t even belong in a hospital, they should’ve been in prison. I will sue this facility for public endangerment. How can you go somewhere to get help and still be abused?

They facilitate the appropriate echelon within the mental health industry needed for their patients plan of care flawlessly. Work well with coordinating with families. The social services department's employees are amazing and do amazing work.

Its really great they got places like this good care , food kinda wack but I really feel better after being there .

Was horrified after reading reviews when my husband was admitted but him and I both agree that of all the places he's been in, this one was by far the best!
