Wonderful staff, they were very special for me, in all the aspects they were very good. I think that I will go to miss them when the program ends. The counselors, managers, doctors, nurses and clinical staff were top notch and cared about every patient individually. If you are planning to visit them don't hesitate they will steer you in the right direction.

Palmetto is the best treatment center in Louisiana by far. Stuart, Jerry, Joseph and Beck have certainly changed my life for the better. I would say that they gave me a life. A second chance! I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction. From the medical staff to the techs this place is A1 and they also accept medicaid.

Palmetto saved my life! I was reluctant but I‘m blessed to have had the opportunity to receive treatment at this facility & work on myself for 90 days. There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. The East Jeff Care Clinic is one of my family’s favorite places to go to since 2017 simply because we are taken care really well starting from the receptionists, the doctors, the nurses, and the lab technicians, and also the pharmacists. The receptionists are very helpful when it comes to providing information regarding sliding scale for paying not so much money for doctors and medicines if you have low income. They also provide you the phone numbers to reach Medicaid, where you couldn’t find that nowhere else easily. The Doctors and nurses really know what they’re doing proven that my mom, wife, and I still survive because of the effort to advise us on what to do with our health and which medicines really work for us. If something is not right, they’re going to adjust our medicines ASAP and finally the medicines really react well to our immune body systems. In case of an emergency, they are always available welcoming us by walk in. They also have a pharmacy called Genoa Pharmacy which is inside the clinic. They make it so easy to get the medicines either by short waiting, calling us if the medicines are ready to be picked up, or sending it to our house. There’s also a lab to do blood work to check everything about your health and organs. There’s also a case worker to get you a job and also information as a medium to provide you with quality care services with drivers picking you in and out of the location regarding mental health. The clinic is also so clean and comfy and also there’s a security to protecting you from all sorts of bad stuff.

I just moved to the south from Nevada. I had a terrible doctor's with no morals in Biloxi %100 lied to me. I searched for months for help. I have been clean now 10 years this year, and thought I might not make it. I FINALLY found Dr George. He is good guy who truly cares and wants to get us off meds, not stuck on them forever like I was. His head nurse is truly a good person and they truly deserve five stars.. Give them a try

Look at the reviews of the other treatment centers and look at the reviews for Dr George,there's more 5 star reviews for Dr George than any of them.I have been to some of the others and there is no compare. I have been coming to Dr. George for going on 2 years and have never had one complaint. Everyone who works there is not only very nice,but they really care about your recovery. I just moved to the area and was looking for a PCP. Luckily I found Dr Khurana. He immediately was very kind and caring and listen to all my problems. He prescribed me the medications I need to Function on a daily basis. His office staff is awesome and always Prompt to answer the phone and answer any an all questions you might have. Scheduling appts is easy and fast and he accepts almost all insurances. I would highly recommend Dr Khurana to any person looking for a REAL caring doctor who needs help with the ailments he treats. He has done wonders for my life and My Work/Home life have greatly improved! It only lets you put 5 stars but I Promise know Star could he high enough for the level of care he provides! I had some good times at this place. It’s definitely not one of the most generous, well-stocked, amenity-laden or pedagogical facilities out there but most of the staff are amazing and *really* care about the clients. They allowed me to set up my guitar, amp, PA, etc. in one of their meeting rooms and play/sing songs for them after the morning meetings. They were pretty reasonable letting me work as many hours as I wanted (within reason) even allowing me to stay out past midnight on several occasions. They DID make me stop going to Planet Fitness after work because I got “pulled over” on my bicycle in Metairie and my backpack searched and I had to call them and let them know I was gonna be late which drew attention to it. The “long-term” facility on Tonti St is in a really old, house-like building that used to be some kind of home for “colored” old folks (Google the history if you’re interested—it’s there). It’s actually 5+ buildings taking up nearly half a block where the oldest part is the main building with most of the offices. There’s a mysterious 4th floor that is supposed to be inaccessible to clients used for storage but also a secret hideout.

Odyssey House of New Orleans & Bayou Vista SAVED MY LIFE...MORE THAN ONCE...REHAB is NOT A VACATION..the staff members are NOT our CONNOISSEURS.."like at hotel... Although I would like to add that New Orleans was like being at a 5 star hotel...the building ETC ..but they might be a little understaffed...the TECH's definitely do not have more than 2 hands & 2 feet & should be paid more.Bayou Vista..was like being at a Nice Motel ..but again they really do need more staff members or TECH's ON THE DAY SHIFTS & they should get paid more NO MATTER what their backgrounds are .. especially if they've been there for a while and provide loyalty.... PLEASE let's keep every suffering addict & their families in our PRAYERS & if they don't have a FAMILY..then ODYSSEY HOUSE will treat you like FAMILY... ALSO remember their TECHNOLOGY is IMPECCABLE so always tell the truth.May GOD BLESS you and GOD BLESS AMERICA 🙏

While the accommodation itself isn't ideal, I have to recommend the ED/TR specialty unit based on its staff. They were so kind and patient with me throughout my entire stay of a whopping 29 days. Special thank you to Cody, Mika, Jameicka, Rose, Abbie, Ray, Tiana, Amie, Ashley, Armani, Dr. Peterson, the dietitians, and all of the therapists I interacted with. I think the major issues with this facility are the result of some systemic issues, unfortunately beyond the control of most. I was in the ED program and there was a definite lack of ED-specific professionals during meal groups, which creates a situation where the patients need to take additional accountability to ensure their meal plan is accurately followed. If more techs could be trained on how these disorders function, and how to better support individuals during mealtimes, I think this program would benefit greatly. In addition, the food and accommodation need some serious upgrades, particularly with cleanliness and air conditioning issues (the AC went out multiple times during my stay). The program can definitely be beneficial if you put in the work!

I was in the specialty here and overall it was a good experience, the staff for the most part was amazing. However I did get a pinched nerve from the terrible mattresses which caused me severe pain to the point where I was in tears, and I felt very dismissed. I felt like my pain wasn't taken seriously which is disappointing because its been about two weeks and I am still suffering and will most likely need physical therapy because of it. The nurse even dismissed me when I suggested that it was nerve related saying "there are no nerves in that part of your body". Aside from that I had a very beneficial experience here and really have no other complaints which is why I'm so disappointed by the way the whole situation was handled. Its hard to be present in therapy when you're in 8/10 pain.
