This was the first time going to Compass. The staff there were very compassionate and supportive of whatever it was that you were going through. I can’t praise them enough as I spent almost four months at this facility. The therapists and educators were very knowledgeable and supportive. But I really have to give it up to the Program Director, as she is the glue that holds the facility and staff together. I can’t praise her and the staff enough! Keep up the good work 🙏🏾

Very bad, an inspection needs to be done here. Staff is taking all the donations. Everything is kept in bad shape (bathroom, beds, etc.), and they don't even practice hospitality. And to top it all off, they confiscate your devices before bed time, no earbuds, so while we (the homeless) are trying to sleep we have to listen to them laughing and yelling at sports all night. understand this is a homeless shelter, so the standard is very low, but you can at least be nice to struggling people, take care of the facility, and allow us to bring headphone so we can at least sleep.

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

From Mr Devan teaching and breaking down everything in a way that a 2 yr old will understand it. By the time he's done with you your going to learn and understand your addiction and the disease. About the mental obsession and the physical allergy. You'll see what it means to see someone love and live his calling in helping others. From Miss Tori recieving you on Day 1 when your nervous and scared She'll make you feel calm and at ease before passing you to the next person. To Mr Rick doing your admission even he makes you feel at ease and relaxed and Your treated as a human being without any judgements sometimes you forget what it is to be treated like a person and not be seen as something less. From the Counslers Mr Alfred, Brandon. They really take helping you in your journey really serious. Mrs Ronda and Mario wow do they open your eyes thru certain excersize and experiences That you'll take part in i wont spoil it but if you want to experience life changing moments this is the place to be. The Staff is just so amazing and caring and take their role in helping you very serious and to the heart. From all the Techs that go to the ends of the world to help you and take care of you as best as they can and do as much as they are able to do trust they will do with love and empathy.The detox Techs Rachel ,JT, Mr Henry they make detox very comfortable. In Residential when you come in from detox and the residential techs Felix,Deval, Mr Jefferson,Jada, Carly, Cara,BIG Mike these Techs go all out for you. And they truly love you. As long as your respectful and mindful and respect their time and effort they put in helping you without even knowing you but all these staff members show you love and kindness that you haven't experienced in a long time. and without any judgment and putting you down becasue they been in your shoes and know what you are feeling and going thru casue basically all have been where you are. This is a life changing program trust me when it say that and I garuntee if you really want and take your sobriety serious then this is where you want to go and be. Please if your second guessing if you should go just take the leap of faith and go. you won't regret it and you'll be glad you did. The place is super clean . The food is amazing. Your stay is very comfortable. They try to remove any obstacle that can or will deter you from achieving sobriety so that you can just focus on you and your sobriety. The staff were amazing. Detox they took very good care Of me. No one knew my bad behavior, caused by seizures. 5 different types. Walking talking worst. I'm mean violent, after seizures. They dealt with me, kindly, I wasn't nice at all. I still have doctors they set me up with. 5/6 years ago, I was there. Before you judge staff, look at yourself. Detox, is hard. Springfield Wellness Center is the first step that God led me to discard my old ways and build a new way of life. I have complete Gratitude for this clinic and more importantly Dr. Paula and the whole staff at Springfield Wellness Center. Nurse Angela is exactly what her name means an angel and messenger from God and a great nurse too. I entered the treatment close to death and saturated with Alcohol I left 10 days clean. I did follow with IOP treatment and embraced the AA fellowship program and today by the Grace of God and his will I am 4 months and 10 days clean of any harmful substance. I can not say enough about Springfield wellness center.....
Starting with the help, and guidance prior to coming to the facility, followed by the time at the facility during the treatment.
The staff makes you feel like family, their open arms make this experience be on a level no other places offer.
It welcomes the whole family, with support, and years of wisdom each person has.
It feels like a home away from home. A support system that will always be there for all. I could go on and on. It is a 5 plus star I can guarantee you.

My family member was at Baton Rouge Behavioral last week. His stay was completely comfortable. He was treated with kindness and loved the doctor. I attended the Intensive outpatient program there. It surpasses other similar programs I have tried in the past. The team there really cares for the patients and makes sure they help you get to class. Very responsive with any problems you may face even after hours. Great program and great team they have to support the needs of the clients. I highly recommend this if your in the need of similar services.

This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. I was worried after reading all these negative reviews, my mom doesn’t speak much English so I was scared the staff would mistreat her , but I spoke with her everyday and she said the staff was very kind , she mentioned they take showers daily , get new scrubs everyday. The facility did smell like urine . I was also able to visit her , a counselor (Angelle Hobbs) got a hold of me and was very communicative . Which put my mind at ease .

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!
