New Start Recovery is an addiction wellness clinic that provides treatment to individuals and families in Houma, Louisiana. They offer intensive and traditional outpatient services, aftercare treatment, and a family program.

Evening Sessions For Flexible Treatment

It can be difficult for some individuals to find time to receive treatment with work or school obligations. New Start Recovery provides intensive outpatient treatment in the evenings to avoid conflicts with your schedule. You’ll meet at the facility three times per week for 12 weeks.

Additionally, the facility understands that many individuals in the community work in the Oil & Gas Industry, which has a schedule that varies significantly compared to other fields. New Start Recovery will work with you to create a structured treatment program while you continue your work schedule.

The intensive outpatient program combines family, group, and individual therapy. The topics that your counselor will focus on include managing cravings, stress management, and practicing relapse prevention skills. You’ll gain tools that will help you live a productive life without using substances.

Free Unlimited Aftercare Sessions

New Start Recovery Program recognizes that the journey of recovery doesn’t end after completing the treatment program. That’s why the staff will continue to offer you ongoing support through unlimited aftercare sessions conducted one evening per week. Additional services provided by the aftercare program include participation in clinic sober social activities and coordination of care for psychiatry.

With the facility being located in Houma, you’re just an hour away from all of the activities and attractions in New Orleans. In between your treatment, you can find time to visit historical landmarks like Jackson Square or enjoy some nature at New Orleans City Park.

Levels of Care

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months).
