I started going to Miracle place about two months ago and I haven't been the same since 🙃. I have since grown so much closer to god and have been surrounded by a real church family. The childlike feeling while serving christ really got deeper when I hit those double doors. This church really builds it's people for god in the best ways I never thought we're possible. I can't wait for Thursdays and Sundays to run through those doors with a smile. Everything from the Pastor's, worship team, dinners and family is like no other church I've ever attended.

Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. I attended the Intensive outpatient program there. It surpasses other similar programs I have tried in the past. The team there really cares for the patients and makes sure they help you get to class. Very responsive with any problems you may face even after hours. Great program and great team they have to support the needs of the clients. I highly recommend this if your in the need of similar services.

You may be there forever, but they take good care of you. I was able to see the doctor, do labs, get pharmacy, get appointments scheduled and multiple Community Care referrals to Oschners for specialists. If I only needed to just see my doc, labs, and prescriptions; I would have been there for less than two hours. The new book shelf with free books is amazing. It was previously books scattered across a tiny table. The staff are some really wonderful people. They want to build a relationship with the Veteran. As with anything in life you ONLY get what YOU put into something, including mental health. I WAS skeptical about embarking on this with Beacon only because my inpatient stay many years ago with them was forced. Everyone that I have encountered in my 3 day a week day program has changed my perspective. From Mrs. Lisa, Alyssa all the way through Ms. Jessie and Patricia. I'm enjoying my days a lot more.

I’ve lived in a bunch of different sober living houses in Lafayette and journeys house by far had the most structure and was the most serious about recovery. When I lived in Oxford the house manager tried to sell me weed the day I moved in, the day I moved into journey house me Chris got me a job and got me to IOP and a AA meeting. The houses are kept immaculately clean and to stay there you HAVE to be serious about sobriety. If you seriously wanna change your life journey house is the best sober living community in Lafayette.
