Wait times to get appointments aren’t the greatest, but hey that’s the VA for you. Besides that I’ve never had a bad experience in 1 1/2 years of going here for all my health needs. Everyone is very nice and respectful, constantly checking in to see if you need anything.

Powerhouse was a great experience. It helped me to be grateful for everything I have in my life. I was given an amazing opportunity to practice the principles I learned in my inpatient program. I was given opportunities to help others and bond with fellow patients. The staff are all Powerhouse alumni and are very passionate and knowledgeable about recovery. I am extremely fortunate to have gone through the Powerhouse program and absolutely recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction who is looking for a path to recovery.

Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I left Narconon in September of 2022.
I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family.
Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members.
This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve.
From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives.
The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself.
I don’t mean to put down anyone’s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias.
Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1?
Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to.

First off i would like to thank all of my labor & delivery doctors & nurses at OCHSNER ST ANNE. They gave us the best care ever, the was my first time at this hospital & i definitely would recommend others to go deliver here as well. They listen to you, & everytime you need something their there. They are absolutely the best team ever. They are constantly checking on you to see if you need anything at anytime, & not only you your spouse or visitors well. I love them real bad! 10/10 definitely recommend. They dont do anything to you without letting you know what they are doing first. They made sure we was comfortable as heck. They are great at communicating, they are gentle kind. I love this place!! The doctor that's in there is Awesome and knows his stuff. The counselors are are amazing!! They don't just pretend to care they actually care about how you feel and why and they try to help as much as possible!! My intake person Sara was amazing my dosing nurse Victoria is funny and awesome!! The front staff that's checks us in awesome.. everyone there is so down to earth and tries to make everything feel comfortable for you. They don't look at you like most people do when you see and addict. They just see us as human beings cause that's what we are. We at human beings that families to not just some junkie. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get help. The first 30 days is rough cause you have to go there every morning before you really get your day started but all that changes after you make it to your 30 day mark which is awesome. Springfield Wellness Center is the first step that God led me to discard my old ways and build a new way of life. I have complete Gratitude for this clinic and more importantly Dr. Paula and the whole staff at Springfield Wellness Center. Nurse Angela is exactly what her name means an angel and messenger from God and a great nurse too. All the nurses fit this same description they were comforting, extremely attenuative, and calmed my anxiety as well as make me smile which was not easy for me at that point in my life. I entered the treatment close to death and saturated with Alcohol I left 10 days clean. I did follow with IOP treatment and embraced the AA fellowship program and today by the Grace of God and his will I am 4 months and 10 days clean of any harmful substance. Springfield Wellness Center is a special place, the grounds, facilities, food, NAD treatment, most of all the people that are there. I am blessed to have started my new journey there and highly recommend their program of care. I hope that I will be able to revisit in the future for NAD boosters.

Starting with the help, and guidance prior to coming to the facility, followed by the time at the facility during the treatment.
The staff makes you feel like family, their open arms make this experience be on a level no other places offer.
It welcomes the whole family, with support, and years of wisdom each person has.
It feels like a home away from home. A support system that will always be there for all. I could go on and on. It is a 5 plus star I can guarantee you.

I was recently an inpatient in the trauma treatment program at River Oaks Hospital. Unfortunately, the trauma treatment program seems to be somewhat undervalued. Upon admission, one receives a manual with the rules and expectations while inpatient. I would say at least a good 30-45% of those rules are not followed, for example, it is stated in the manual that all groups are mandatory, however, patients pick and choose which groups they want to attend with no repercussions. It can be disruptive for people who would like to do their work. Because there are also military members receiving treatment, those patients have less incentive to complete assignments and so forth because they are automatically approved for a 28 day stay. For those of us who come in on private insurance that gets reviewed weekly, it can be discouraging, especially when paying out-of-pocket co-pays per day.
The eating disorder program also seems to be much better regulated and consistent. The lack of consistency for the trauma program is obvious.
At the same time, there are many members of the staff that are caring and supportive. I felt I was able to receive competent, helpful care while I was there. If you’re really interested in doing the work, you quickly determine who will be helpful and who is not. If you want to really help yourself, you’ll take advantage of those people, and you will benefit from your time there.

This was the first time going to Compass. The staff there were very compassionate and supportive of whatever it was that you were going through. I can’t praise them enough as I spent almost four months at this facility. The therapists and educators were very knowledgeable and supportive. But I really have to give it up to the Program Director, as she is the glue that holds the facility and staff together. I can’t praise her and the staff enough! Keep up the good work 🙏🏾

My family member was at Baton Rouge Behavioral last week. His stay was completely comfortable. He was treated with kindness and loved the doctor. When I called to check in on him the nurses were so nice. Morgan was very helpful. I would recommend this place to someone needing mental health assistance.

I attended the Intensive outpatient program there. It surpasses other similar programs I have tried in the past. The team there really cares for the patients and makes sure they help you get to class. Very responsive with any problems you may face even after hours. Great program and great team they have to support the needs of the clients. I highly recommend this if your in the need of similar services.

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!
