If it weren't for St. Christopher's we would still be wading through the confusion of what to do about our alcoholic loved one. The pain was close to unbearable. We were all lost and so very tired. St. Chris was recommended to us and the counselors and techs there made the difference. After three months, our loved one graduated and transitioned with the help of staff. The combination of medical supervision, group therapy, and 24/7 supervision was the key to finding the path we are on now. Our alcoholic is over six months sober and proud. It's a day at a time, but we are thankful for this second chance, given to us by the caring folks at St. Christopher's.

The medication assisted program makes the road to recovery easier and possible. Unfortunately TriCare East is not accepted! I brought it to their attention being that they advertise TriCare . The issues that occurred in my treatment all stemmed from this not accepting TriCare .Otherwise,the program will assist you in finding your way back.

I absolutely love the staff and care I receive from the Louisiana VA. I keep seeing all of the negativity that seems to be expressed due to one specific situation, but I can say if there was a bad situation that I have had someone was there to correct it immediately. I absolutely appreciate all of my providers and how they have been able to accomplish more than any of the other states VA's that I have received care from. I have been to quite a few different VA facilities throughout different states and so far the Louisiana VA has been nothing but amazing and has helped me in a number of positive ways. Honestly they are the reason me and my family stay in Louisiana otherwise we would have moved anywhere else but here. Powerhouse was a great experience. It helped me to be grateful for everything I have in my life. I was given an amazing opportunity to practice the principles I learned in my inpatient program. I was given opportunities to help others and bond with fellow patients. The staff are all Powerhouse alumni and are very passionate and knowledgeable about recovery. I am extremely fortunate to have gone through the Powerhouse program and absolutely recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction who is looking for a path to recovery.

As with anything in life you ONLY get what YOU put into something, including mental health. I WAS skeptical about embarking on this with Beacon only because my inpatient stay many years ago with them was forced. Everyone that I have encountered in my 3 day a week day program has changed my perspective. From Mrs. Lisa, Alyssa all the way through Ms. Jessie and Patricia. I'm enjoying my days a lot more.

i have no idea about the other reviews but this was genuinely a good experience, they might have changed some things after all the bad reviews or complaints? im not sure but the staff there are amazing, i only have problems with one of them, i do not know her name but shes like...very rude. and your stay is determined on your Medicaid!!!!! not your mental health!but it does work tho! i dont have any more thoughts of suici***! but i have a bad feeling with dr deback about the way he diagnoses people, the kids i was in with said he diagnoses everyone with bipolar, but i did not. in conclusion the place is sick and mrs kay is the best staff member to ever exists along with mr joey. 100% would never come again (because i have no reason to!)

I called to make a new patient appointment and was given some options for a telemedicine visit. The appointment process was pretty easy. They verified my insurance benefits and we were good to go. I saw one of the PAs, Ashley Mills. The visit was timely, thorough, and all of my concerns were addressed without much pressure. I would definitely recommend this provider to other patients.

We have a family member needing help the last 4 months and has finally been put in a hospital that wants to help. Third hospital and we finally have a diagnosis (thanks to St James) and a team of professionals that are dedicated to making sure patients receive the best care possible. We can finally sleep at night knowing our loved one is where she needs to be and the staff there is working hard to give her her life back. She will never be the same but that’s a good thing, her mind was torturing her and the staff there is teaching her how to live with her disease and prescribing the medicine that will help stabilize her. St James is the best place if you have any mental health issues, the absolute best.

There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!
