I highly recommend this place for anyone struggling with mental health or addiction. I can give no higher commendation: This place quiet literally saved my life. They confirmed a bed for me, drove 2 HOURS to pick up me up and make sure I was safe. The nurses, case workers, BHTs, group leaders, therapists, all staff really, made sure that even at my lowest i was looked after, provided for, and as informed on my care as possible. If there was any mistakes, they amended them. Fellow patients were determined and kind. This place gave me the confidence, the tools, and the foundations I need to live my life with purpose. The food is also the best. If you're looking for a place to recover, give them a call. There is help. You are not alone.
There is no doubt that there are flaws in the system but the good that comes from this program is incredible. The people here not only care about their jobs but about each client. Thank you Haven!!
My experience at the Haven was great. It takes a village to get you well and everyone from the medical staff, BHT's, cooks, case managers, therapists, group facilitators and cleaning crew did a wonderful job. Detoxing is hard and the caring and kind staff at the Haven make it more bearable. Everything is taken care of for you so all you have to do is focus on yourself and getting well. Meeting new people who suffer the same kind of problem also makes it a less difficult journey. I can't say enough about the people at the Haven. They are there to help and support you all the way.
