I feel very privileged to be able to spend 30 days at maple moon. I can t say enough on how the entire staff made me feel safe and comfortable and supported. The detox was as easy as can be and and I was given the tools and confidence to continue my journey after.

This is great place if seeking help with drug or alcohol abuse,the staff is awesome ,couldn't ask for a better treatment facility

When i first got here everyone is vary nice and caring and the food is amazing over all the care and the passion the staff shows in every client is super nice and welcoming and the food is so good it feels like a resort it s so nice the house is nice the people actually care about me I just loved being here and would recommend to anyone going in to treatment and I really appreciate the staff for making me feel welcome

I cannot give enough praise to Rise in Malibu. My son was recently admitted for the 30 day alcoholism program. With great fear and hesitation he was soon talking with Allison in admissions. Her unbelievable patience, knowledge, unmatched kindness, and long phone calls, gave him the reassurance he needed to get on the plane.Upon arrival to LAX there was another team member waiting for him at the baggage carousel. He was a recovered alcoholic and really understood the hesitation being experienced by my son. How wonderful to have that real life encouragement, even before walking in the front door.Upon arrival he met all the wonderful staff that he appreciated were non judgmental, which was very important to him. Each staff member took time to really get to know him, so they could develop a personal treatment plan to meet his specific needs. He participated in group, individual and spiritual counseling. The painting activity uncovered a talent that he did not know he had. The group meals, activities, gym time and outings allowed positive and supportive friendships to develop.I visited about two weeks in and met most of the staff. Every person was as wonderful as he had said they were. It was then I learned that all the staff members have recovered from their own addiction. That explains their kind, understanding and unrelenting devotion to helping others.During my visit he showed me around and introduced me to the staff like they were all his family. He was proud of his progress and finally believing in recovery. I saw happiness in him for the first time in many years.He continues to reach out to team members when there is a bump in the road. Having that ability has truly kept him on the right path. He is now in sober living with sobriety a realistic outcome, for the first time in 20 years. I am forever grateful to Rise in Malibu!

An absolute gem!!The home is stunning with individual spacious rooms, infinity pool, and view of the ocean for starters. My experience with the admissions team of Lori and Berkeley was a great start as I did not, for one minute, feel pressured. The staff, comprised of Masters level and Doctorate clinicians provide the most comprehensive treatment this industry has to offer. The one on one attention you receive here is unbelievable. I had 90+ sessions in a 30 day stay. Just finished treatment at WVDT and in the beginning (as per usual whenever anyone is kicking anything hard) I was hostile, isolated and resistant to the treatment. I came in on NYE 24 from Miami, FL and by day 4 I needed to go to the hospital, they made the decision and when I was done I returned to finish my 28 days of treatment. I am very thankful for everything and everyone there, I have never been more clean in my life since I began using in 2020. One of the workers Mariah, shared her story with me in the beginning of my stay and one thing she said really resonated with me. "I just stayed, and I listened" and for my duration I just grasped onto that. I stayed, I listened, and I got my life back. They also assist you with post-treatment planning, whether that's PHP, Sober living, IOP, etc. They make sure you have all the tools you need so once you're discharged it'll be a smooth transition for you. Everyone there was knowledgeable and had some type of first hand experience in what you're actually going through. Some notable shoutouts include Austin, Mariah, Beau, Emmanuel, Malika and Jordan. The Private Chef there too is amazing. For going through what was the toughest time in my life, I will never forget my month there. Thanks Everyone!

Any good story should start so there I was. So there I was, I was a meth user for 30 plus years and an alcoholic. I don't know we're to begin on how much starbridge helped me.. my mental health was shot by body was shot and my pride was shot I had been to countles facilities and programs during my 30 years of use and soon as i left I knew I was getting high. Something clicked here at starbridge recovery for me yes I have a 1 year old and a partner at home that I was trying to get clean for but the staff and faculty had me realize that I need to do first and for most for me than my family will reap the benefits of the real Tyson. This was the best recovery experience! This was not my first time in treatment and I thought that I knew what to expect. The groups were small and intimate. The staff and other clients were caring, empathetic, open minded and friendly. I was introduced to Smart Recovery which is a great alternative to 12 step programs. We attended 12 Step meetings as well. All the techs and counselors were committed to my success. My therapist Stephanie is a great listener! She heard my concerns and was able to present other perspectives that I hadn t thought of. The chef, Dean is a fabulous cook! Dustin, Evan, Leslie, Sam, Brittany, America were all essential in this process. They are all proof that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety but connection!

The treatment programs are comprehensive and they are an excellent center for teen recovery.

I don't have enough good to say about this team. They really helped my kids when we hit a rough spot. One even started with a strained relationship with food. After some time and help from the Hillcrest team things have really improved for our family.

I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn t for Avedis I don t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

I came here in November at the guidance of my work. I worked as a biochemist for a large medical company. I thought I could get better on my own. The people here showed me how to learn to live clean without substances. It was the perfect mix of ultra luxury and intense therapeutic work. I highly recommend this treatment center, and anyone who needs to come here.

Sanctuary was the kindest I ve ever been treated as an addict. I ve had terrible experiences in rehab and they made me feel safe. The staff was always kind and I never felt judged for feeling the way I did. They didn t expect too much of me and let me ease into group therapy. MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

My 12 year old son stayed at Beachside for two months in the spring and we brought home a changed child. After struggling with some significant trauma, the counselors that worked with my son were truly wonderful. The weekend activities were excellent including boating and trips to amusement parks. During the week, he learned to surf, completed his school curriculum so that he could graduate from his regular education elementary school, and took hikes at beautiful locations around Malibu. He loved the food, and participated in group and music therapy as well as individual counseling. We spoke on the phone most nights and had great weekend visits. My son is now a thriving 7th grader, enjoying school and close relationships with his friends. I would encourage anyone struggling to give your child the gift of this healing environment.

Our daughter had been prescribed a strong medication after she was hurt during gymnastics practice. We never expected it to lead to an addiction. We re so grateful to the staff of Beachside for helping her when we could not.

Anxiety has turned into such a buzzword as of late. Hearing it so often ended up desensitizing us to some issues our son was going through.
