Thomas Nguyen, the dentist here is really nice. The girls who work with him were very nice and friendly, too. I am very embarrassed about my teeth and he was so nice and helpful. I am very grateful that I am able to have such a nice dentist. I know someone in Texas where they don't have access to dental insurance with Medicaid. He had a bad tooth and died because he took too much Tylenol, trying to get rid of the pain. In California, low income people on medi-cal also get denti-cal. Edgewood is a phenomenal facility that offers great freedom and safety. While the locking away of certain belongings and stricter policies in some areas, it is amazing. Even though they were just one step of my mental health journey, I have never felt the level of care and support they gave.If you do residential they'll do a little school (its really easy and fun), lots of fun seasonal crafts, gaming on pcs or consoles, basketball, baking/cooking, and if you're long-term...field trips!! It was a difficult period in my life and the first few days are so hard, I get it. I had my fair share of cries too. But by the end you'll be sad to leave and love the friends you made. Having a roommate or two also makes it so much better. Even if socializing is uncomfortable for you, everyone is in the same place. The longer you're there the kinder and more fun people are. Some therapists are eh I've heard but mine was phenomenal. In addition, the counselors are so fun. They are interesting and beautiful people who will be there for you if you reach out. Shoutout to the counselor who did a lot of bug are (I don't know if I can name names)Anyways, I went from a sad broken soul to a comfortable and growing broken soul. No program will fix you but this one will guide your journey better than any. If you wanna die, Edgewood is your place.MUCH LOVE!!

Seeing as I am here on a weekly basis I felt it only a must that i write a review. As you walk through the main double doors and come to the front desk you will be met with nothing but the utmost respect and decency. The men and women that take position here are lovely individuals who genuinely care about your health and well being. No matter if you are a regular or if you are on vacation or just on your way though, I can guarantee they will do there absolute best to help you in what ever you current issue or situation may be. If they are unable to solve your issue do not fret they will not shy away from making you aware that your issue is best suited for the actual VA Hospital which lay just up the hill. You can sit back and relax but don't get too comfortable the wait times are short and you will be in and out in a flash. Yet you can be confident you are getting the best possible care. Comparing to any other VA Clinics's or any VA affiliated medical facility this by far exceeded my expectations and has been such a gift to have in these past months.

Having spent significant time in both the rooms and the office, I can provide a full perspective that might aid you in your decision-making process regarding sobriety and also a place I like to call my second home, Ohlhoff. My experience in Ohlhoff recovery has been an incredible journey of growth and self-discovery. As someone who believes that we, as people, are always growing and evolving, I found it essential to approach my recovery with an open mind and a willingness to learn. This program gave me the opportunity to do just that.I realized that part of this process was letting go of what I thought I knew and allowing the professionals here to guide me. Their expertise, care, and dedication made it clear that recovery is more than just overcoming addiction; it's about reshaping your mindset and embracing new perspectives. The environment here fosters both learning and growth. While the lessons are serious and impactful, the program also knows how to balance that with engaging and supportive activities. This combination made my recovery feel both challenging and fulfilling. If you're reading this review, know that you are capable of change. Trust the process, trust the professionals, and most importantly, trust yourself to embrace this journey. This program has truly been life-changing for me, and I'm leaving with a clearer understanding of myself and the tools to continue evolving. This program incorporates your beliefs and experience while maintaining a hopeful and encouraging tone. If you or someone you know is contemplating taking this significant step toward sobriety, I highly recommend considering Ohlhoff. Foundations has been an invaluable resource in my journey towards recovery. After trying various inpatient programs, IOP, harm reduction methods, and continually struggling to maintain sobriety, I was drawn to Foundations for its dual diagnosis treatment approach. My psychiatric provider recommended finding a program that could address both my mental health and substance use disorder, and Foundations proved to be the perfect fit.The intake process, though it took some time over the phone, was handled with care and understanding by Dana. She navigated the sensitive questions with grace, despite them delving into past traumas. Upon arriving for my first day, I was warmly greeted and guided through the necessary paperwork, which was comprehensive and provided me with valuable information to refer back to at my own pace.I found the group sessions to be particularly impressive, with counselors adeptly guiding discussions on challenging subjects. As someone familiar with such programs, I expected a certain level of professionalism, which the counselors consistently demonstrated. The group format, including individual check-ins and educational components, fostered a sense of community among clients a vital aspect of the recovery journey. The educational components were delivered in a manner that felt relevant and engaging, thanks to the counselors' deep understanding of the subjects. Their diverse backgrounds, ranging from end-of-life chaplaincy to somatic therapy, brought valuable perspectives to the discussions. Topics, centered around DBT strategies, were rotated regularly, ensuring a well-rounded approach to treatment. In addition to group sessions, clients benefit from weekly drug testing, individual therapy, and access to case management a comprehensive support system designed to address various aspects of recovery. The physical space at Foundations is welcoming and comfortable, with amenities like couches, ping pong tables, and a well-stocked kitchen contributing to a sense of ease. The presence of adorable dogs further adds to the inviting atmosphere. Moreover, the convenience of nearby parking in a parking structure with validated parking has been a huge bonus, easing logistical concerns and adding to the overall positive experience at Foundations. On a deeply personal level, I can't emphasize enough how much I cherish Foundations. My success in recovery wouldn't have been possible without it. As a professional, it provided me with a supportive environment where peers understood the challenges I faced. I've forged meaningful friendships and a sense of community that has been crucial to my journey. The bonds I've formed with the staff have allowed me to be my true self a tremendous relief in itself. In fact, I've continued my involvement with Foundations by participating in their weekly outpatient program. The structured approach and unwavering support have been instrumental in maintaining my progress. Being part of their alumni program is another highlight for me. It's incredibly fulfilling to connect with past clients, old and new friends alike, and share our experiences, challenges, and successes in recovery.Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Foundations. Its holistic approach, supportive atmosphere, dedicated staff, and convenient amenities make it a beacon of hope for anyone seeking lasting recovery.

San Francisco is the 9th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $64840. The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in San Francisco vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in San Francisco. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in San Francisco that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near San Francisco.

San Francisco has the 380th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in San Francisco county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in San Francisco or San Francisco county as a whole.
