I made a review a couple months ago about the inpatient facility which is completely separate from outpatient. The outpatient has a lot of caring staff who I personally created a genuine connection with. The only problem is that they are a little bit understaffed and that can be pretty frustrating. They are trying their best and they are leaps and bounds better than inpatient across the street from them. This place not only saved my life but also helped encourage me to go above and beyond to thrive in life, not just survive. If you are feeling alone and are thinking of coming here I couldn’t recommend it enough. Just trust the process it’s hard at first but it gets so much easier.

I was admitted to the Monterey unit at Fremont on a 5150 hold in early February of this year. It’s been 5 months since I got out, and I’ve been doing better since then. I wanted to take a moment to say how much I truly appreciated my time there. I was really nervous going in, but everyone made me feel so comforted and welcomed — especially the PM staff.
My favorite nurses were Megan, Cristal, and Jamie — I seriously loved them with all my heart. They were always there when I needed someone, and they brought so much light and laughter during a really tough time. And Sarah from the PM staff? I adored her lashes and her kindness — she made such a big impression on me.
The other kids in the hospital were great too. I made so many friendships I still hold close. I miss you Bella, Desire, Riley, Isabella, and my roommate Skylar — you guys were my favorites, and I still think about you all the time.
The rooms at Fremont were pretty nice, and the beds were okay — but the showers were way too cold 💔 (someone really needs to fix that lol). Still, even with everything I was going through, Fremont helped me in ways I didn’t expect. My experience there was truly amazing, and I don’t regret it for a second.
Thank you all for being a part of my healing. 💙
