This is hands down the best staff we are so fortunate to have all these wonderful staff members to help you continue with ur journey to recovery I know they got new supervisor and it seems like since they did its gotten so much better I've been sober since Oct 27 2021 and this clinic has a loving personal intimate feel to it the others do not I will continue to only use this clinic to continue my. I have been coming here for years. This place saved my life. I was lucky for so long to have an amazing counselor with Corinna until she left. Still miss her! Then I got to be with Monica for a while until she ended up leaving. Miss her too! And now I am with Juanita and she is also awesome! I have been very lucky with the counselors I have had. Juanita inspires and encourages me every time I talk to her! I am very lucky to have her as my counselor! Although I hope to safely be off eventually I am grateful to this clinic for everything they have done. The employees here have always been kind to me and helpful.

I came to this clinic because of my pain from an accident that broke my back and caused me to need several surgeries in order to partially repair my lower spine. I still need surgery and my pain doctor I was going to retired without much notice (1 week) and I could not find any pain doctors that would keep me on the methadone (I don’t like the loopy feeling the other meds give you) they all wanted to put me on Vicodin which I was on for a few years and hated it because it made me sick and dizzy plus it was damaging my liver so I cannot take that anymore so my Dr put me on methadone because it lasts longer and you take less of it. My pain doctor told me to come to the clinic they treat for pain also not just addiction issues, and I am extremely happy I did because every single person at this clinic is amazing. The staff is caring and very helpful with any issues. I admit I did feel awkward at first going to this clinic because I was not a former drug addict and didn’t have addiction issues so I felt out of place but they made me feel comfortable and not judged. My counselor Roy has been phenomenal and helping me cope with my daily stress and the stresses that my life has brought to me he’s always there for me and always willing to talk to me no matter what and without him, for example today, I don’t know if I could’ve handled it if I hadn’t been able to talk to him today, he was there for me and calmed me down talked me through the issues and made me realize that I just need to relax and stop stressing about things that I cannot change and he is an amazing counselor and I could not ask for anything better. This place is also awesome if you need it for addiction issues, I’ve seen how they treat everybody and everybody is treated the same way with respect and dignity and they help everyone . Thank you Medmark team for everything. Y’all are the bomb!! Thanks so much! PS: Roy you are the man! Always know what to say to make me snap out of my anxiety’s and fears.

I started at the clinic a little over ten years ago with no desire to get clean , my only motivation that led me here was to avoid being physically ill on days I was to broke to use, after a couple months of counseling I quit using and my life has been so much better ever since. Without the counseling this place offers I don’t know how long I would have continued to numb and runaway from my issues. It really did save me.

I think west care is a very good place to start if u are struggling with addiction they assign u to a counselor as soon as u arrive and they have classes to teach u so that u may understand how to cope with it. Going into the program u have to surrender yourself to change, they have resources to help u get on your feet to be become a productive member of society. the biggest pluses was the food on occasions and being able to bring my daughter as it is open to mothers and children. The biggest minuses where no social passes so u are not allowed to go out of the facility unless u have an appt & also being in pending ( isolation) for the first 5 days from my understanding these changes occured due to covid so they are trying to keep us safe other then that it's probably one of the best facilities to come too 🤗

& i made so much memorie'z dat i will remember for a lifetime, & most importantly so many forevr friend'z..

I had a great experience with the nurse practioner although I cant remember her name, she was incredibly empathetic, kind, and gentle throughout my visit. I know this program well and have been there from the very beginning. What is best about New Life is that they are real and actually see people as individualized humans rather than just another client. When it comes to treatment, it is imperative staff are competent, genuinely care, and are not about their own ego, which is exactly New Life staff. Although team members are professional, they also have a relatable aspect to them that helps clients feel trust and hope. It is pretty amazing, and as someone who lost a family member to fentanyl, I do not say these things lightly. I actually am more critical and have a higher standard. I am grateful families and clients have a program like New Life as an option at all levels of care. An added bonus, their doctor is fantastic and kind. Lastly, the cold bath option and the amazing floors and decor is unlike anything I have ever seen. I love it, and I hope you do, too. Good luck on your journey in recovery! I wish you well.

I'm so grateful to have found A New Awakening of San Joaquin. I was at rock bottom, struggling with addiction and feeling hopeless. But from the moment I walked through their doors, I knew I was in a safe and supportive environment.
The staff is amazing - they're knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly care about each client's recovery. They took the time to understand my unique struggles and developed a personalized treatment plan that addressed my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
The program itself is comprehensive and well-structured. I appreciated the combination of individual and group therapy sessions, which helped me work through my issues and develop healthy coping mechanisms. The facility is also clean, comfortable, and peaceful - a perfect setting for healing and reflection.
What really sets A New Awakening apart, though, is the sense of community. I was surrounded by fellow clients who understood what I was going through, and we supported and encouraged each other every step of the way. The staff also facilitated regular alumni events and ongoing support groups, which have been invaluable in helping me maintain my sobriety.
