About the Facility
Aspire Counseling Services, located in Fresno, California, offers dual diagnosis treatment counseling, and alcohol and drug rehab services. Their levels of care include partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and aftercare. Treatment is available for adolescents and adults in an age-specific format.
The partial hospitalization program offers individuals a highly structured outpatient program with the flexibility of returning to their home environment in the evening. Treatment begins with an assessment to determine the best treatment path for each client. From here, a personalized treatment plan is provided. Clients will have access to psychiatric care, crisis intervention services, individual therapy, group therapy, educational classes, and skill-building classes. The goal of the program is to equip individuals with what they need to continue to succeed in their recovery. Most partial hospitalization programs meet five days a week for six hours at a time.
The intensive outpatient program is a step down from partial hospitalization, allowing for greater flexibility. Most intensive outpatient programs meet three days a week, for three hours at a time. Individual therapy, process groups, educational classes, and skills-building classes are provided. The goal of this program is to prepare individuals to move into an aftercare phase of treatment where they will reduce their frequency of interaction and focus the majority of their time on their normal, daily life.
Levels of Care
Intensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support clients’ sustained sobriety as they exit detox or step down from inpatient programs. They are also designed for clients who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Intensive outpatient treatment typically requires clients to engage in a minimum of nine hours of therapy per week, but clients may receive up to 20 therapeutic hours weekly. IOP treatment modalities often combine psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).
Partial Hospitalization Program
Commonly known as “day treatment,” a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of outpatient treatment where clients meet during the day and return home in the evening. PHP treatment doesn't require 24-hour care and often serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down after a residential program. With PHP treatment, you can receive daily support for 6 to 8 hours which includes evidence-based therapies and medication management. The cost of PHP treatment typically varies but averages 90 days.
Aftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
