The best treatment I have had at any clinic in 30 years. The staff is terrific. I only wish I had used them sooner. My appointments have been on time with very little waiting. I don't know what people expect from the staff. I've been going there for years and I have not seen the problems that people are complaining about. People need to relax and give the employees credit for what they are doing and realize that there other patients patients being seen. Sometimes it takes them a little longer to finsh with some patients than others. I prefer that they take their time to make sure each person gets the proper care. So put away your stop watch and relax

My daughter recently was admitted there and the staff was amazing one in particular David who really helped my daughter get through this tough time the place it’s self was very professional the staff as well. Despite the bad reviews and bad food the psychiatrist is great. She can be mean but she actually knows what she's doing. She won't drug you just because she wants things to be easier for her or fears losing her license. If you need counseling she'll refer you to counseling, if you do need meds, she'll give them to you.

Meditation/awareness is not pointed at here it seems, most the mental illness/drug addiction, etc if not all comes from "Ego" or materialist/physycalist conditioning most of the world suffers from.
The psychiatric medications don't help much instead look into various "non-duality" meditation pointers, psychdelics and evidence based therapy but please do your research. It is work and nobody is here to do your work but you. Recommend a book "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie but there are many pointers as there are grains of sands in the universe,

Went here for the first time today. My experience there was good, better than what i imagined. The reviews kinda made it sound like an unwelcoming place but I believe trying to get help than no help is better than nothing, and I was happily surprised by how considerate they were and straight to the point it was, got there 10 minutes early, they gave me a fillout sheet that could be filled out in all languages, then after i did everything, progress was made very fast, got my next appointment and I'm excited to see that I'm making progress and they're making progress with me. I'll keep you updated if it gets worse or better for sure. But now, that's all I think 🤔. I receiving counseling services at the Chowchilla office it's not very good at all They do not call you the day prior to your appointment and they are required to call you the day before a Dr.Appointment.They for some reason stopped calling me.I had to start going to Madera office for counseling services.Chowchilla is not professional at all very selective in who they want to help or get better.I like the psychians.The Therapist are not acceptable.I would like to see more diversity in Chowchilla counseling .

I have been coming here for years. This place saved my life. I was lucky for so long to have an amazing counselor with Corinna until she left. Still miss her! Then I got to be with Monica for a while until she ended up leaving. Miss her too! And now I am with Juanita and she is also awesome! I have been very lucky with the counselors I have had. Juanita inspires and encourages me every time I talk to her! I am very lucky to have her as my counselor! Although I hope to safely be off eventually I am grateful to this clinic for everything they have done. The employees here have always been kind to me and helpful.

I came to this clinic because of my pain from an accident that broke my back and caused me to need several surgeries in order to partially repair my lower spine. I still need surgery and my pain doctor I was going to retired without much notice (1 week) and I could not find any pain doctors that would keep me on the methadone (I don’t like the loopy feeling the other meds give you) they all wanted to put me on Vicodin which I was on for a few years and hated it because it made me sick and dizzy plus it was damaging my liver so I cannot take that anymore so my Dr put me on methadone because it lasts longer and you take less of it. My pain doctor told me to come to the clinic they treat for pain also not just addiction issues, and I am extremely happy I did because every single person at this clinic is amazing. The staff is caring and very helpful with any issues. I admit I did feel awkward at first going to this clinic because I was not a former drug addict and didn’t have addiction issues so I felt out of place but they made me feel comfortable and not judged. My counselor Roy has been phenomenal and helping me cope with my daily stress and the stresses that my life has brought to me he’s always there for me and always willing to talk to me no matter what and without him, for example today, I don’t know if I could’ve handled it if I hadn’t been able to talk to him today, he was there for me and calmed me down talked me through the issues and made me realize that I just need to relax and stop stressing about things that I cannot change and he is an amazing counselor and I could not ask for anything better. This place is also awesome if you need it for addiction issues, I’ve seen how they treat everybody and everybody is treated the same way with respect and dignity and they help everyone . Thank you Medmark team for everything. Y’all are the bomb!! Thanks so much! PS: Roy you are the man! Always know what to say to make me snap out of my anxiety’s and fears.

Im also fighting for my kids back to get em home from cps and not cause i tested positive for druggs i was negative i do have a pill problem though to pain pills n xannys thats y im getting help my kids taking cause i was on a manic high from being out of my bipolar meds n my house was horrible 😞😒😞😟😔

My experience here has been great, no complaints! My counselor is Ronnie who understands me and my struggles. Ronnie is always there when I need someone to vent to. I've been clean for over 2 years now which is the longest I've ever been sober and I love every minute of it. I want to also thank all of Baart for the love and support they have given me through my journey. I've been able to turn my life around and become a happy person. I am truly grateful for WestCare and the staff while I was there. I want to say that they have a phenomenal program set in place for people who are seeking lifelong sobriety. If you are serious about your recovery and your program, then WestCare in my opinion, is a great place to start! I completed my program in December of 2023 and because of the guidance and tools I was given at WestCare, I remain clean today. I have 20 months and am an active member of the NA program. I think west care is a very good place to start if u are struggling with addiction they assign u to a counselor as soon as u arrive and they have classes to teach u so that u may understand how to cope with it. Going into the program u have to surrender yourself to change, they have resources to help u get on your feet to be become a productive member of society. the biggest pluses was the food on occasions and being able to bring my daughter as it is open to mothers and children. The biggest minuses where no social passes so u are not allowed to go out of the facility unless u have an appt & also being in pending ( isolation) for the first 5 days from my understanding these changes occured due to covid so they are trying to keep us safe other then that it's probably one of the best facilities to come too 🤗

end of da day, it'z a good place.. some not all staff, genuinely care about u & ur sobriety, & want to c u succeed in life.. & othr staff, well it'z der job, day got bill'z to pay.. & as for rule'z, sum r straight up ridiculous, & sum mak u feel lik ur 5 yr'z old, wit dat said, many rule'z r broken.. i'm not say'n diz is a bad place, cuz it really is not.. evryone has ther own opinion & der own experience, it really is up to u & how u spend ur day'z ther... ma experience was o.k.. in da end, i'm grateful & thankful to all da counselors, teacher'z & staff for bearing wit me & having da opportunity to come here.. i learned alot about myself & addiction..
& i made so much memorie'z dat i will remember for a lifetime, & most importantly so many forevr friend'z..
so i wish u all nothing but da best..
& hope u become a bettr version of urself, now, during recovery & in ur future..
for some, diz might b da last chance to do dat. so dont waste it..
