The best treatment I have had at any clinic in 30 years. The staff is terrific. I only wish I had used them sooner. My appointments have been on time with very little waiting. The location of the clinic in North Merced is convinent. Overall my experience stacks up to the care I remember from from the time when I was on active duty.

Meditation/awareness is not pointed at here it seems, most the mental illness/drug addiction, etc if not all comes from "Ego" or materialist/physycalist conditioning most of the world suffers from.
The psychiatric medications don't help much instead look into various "non-duality" meditation pointers, psychdelics and evidence based therapy but please do your research. It is work and nobody is here to do your work but you. Recommend a book "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie but there are many pointers as there are grains of sands in the universe,

Went here for the first time today. My experience there was good, better than what i imagined. The reviews kinda made it sound like an unwelcoming place but I believe trying to get help than no help is better than nothing, and I was happily surprised by how considerate they were and straight to the point it was, got there 10 minutes early, they gave me a fillout sheet that could be filled out in all languages, then after i did everything, progress was made very fast, got my next appointment and I'm excited to see that I'm making progress and they're making progress with me. I'll keep you updated if it gets worse or better for sure. But now, that's all I think 🤔. My daughter recently was admitted there and the staff was amazing one in particular David who really helped my daughter get through this tough time the place it’s self was very professional the staff as well. I was a lil skeptical and worried about my daughter but after 72hrs of being there she had told me about David and he spoke w her listened to her and gave her really great advice which made her feel okay and safe while there and I must say that must be a hard profession to do on a daily basis but he definitely does his job well and should be recognized THANK YOU SO MUCH STAFF AT MARIE GREEN CLINIC AND THANK YOU DAVID KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS AND KEEP HELPING OUR COMMUNITY GET BETTER!!❤️🩹

Despite the bad reviews and bad food the psychiatrist is great. She can be mean but she actually knows what she's doing. She won't drug you just because she wants things to be easier for her or fears losing her license. If you need counseling she'll refer you to counseling, if you do need meds, she'll give them to you.

I receiving counseling services at the Chowchilla office it's not very good at all They do not call you the day prior to your appointment and they are required to call you the day before a Dr.Appointment.They for some reason stopped calling me.I had to start going to Madera office for counseling services.Chowchilla is not professional at all very selective in who they want to help or get better.I like the psychians.The Therapist are not acceptable.I would like to see more diversity in Chowchilla counseling .

I’m almost at my completion of 30 day in Firststeps recovery I’m gonna tell you this program has been an eye opener for I really thought it was going to be like them programs around Fresno that have all the criminal elements and different types of court ordered people but it wasn’t. This was way different every type of working class people trying to better themselves and I never seen this around not in all the times I was court ordered to attend NA/AA classes thank god it’s east like what I was used to seeing I felt at peace and excepted here because I to have been to prison from the age of 18 till I was 25 years old I spent probably 2 months out in the streets I was clean for about 14 years and around 3 1/2 years ago I picked up again this time almost taking myself to the grave now I enjoy waking up every morning with a purpose in life to better myself and the people around me that are in this program. You our addiction doesn’t discriminate it attacks every walks of life and I’m glad to enjoy my sobriety with individuals that excepted me in like everyone that walks through the Firststeps recovery facility so if you have a family member or friend that needs help in addition I recommend you send them here were no one is judged but excepted as the addicted that we all are my drug of choice is meth there’s can be alcohol, opioids, or just marijuana addition is addiction and we all understand each other regardless of our D.O.C. I have been coming here for years. This place saved my life. I was lucky for so long to have an amazing counselor with Corinna until she left. Still miss her! Then I got to be with Monica for a while until she ended up leaving. Miss her too! And now I am with Juanita and she is also awesome! I have been very lucky with the counselors I have had. Juanita inspires and encourages me every time I talk to her! I am very lucky to have her as my counselor! I came to this clinic because of my pain from an accident that broke my back and caused me to need several surgeries in order to partially repair my lower spine. I still need surgery and my pain doctor I was going to retired without much notice (1 week) and I could not find any pain doctors that would keep me on the methadone (I don’t like the loopy feeling the other meds give you) they all wanted to put me on Vicodin which I was on for a few years and hated it because it made me sick and dizzy plus it was damaging my liver so I cannot take that anymore so my Dr put me on methadone because it lasts longer and you take less of it. My pain doctor told me to come to the clinic they treat for pain also not just addiction issues, and I am extremely happy I did because every single person at this clinic is amazing. The staff is caring and very helpful with any issues. I admit I did feel awkward at first going to this clinic because I was not a former drug addict and didn’t have addiction issues so I felt out of place but they made me feel comfortable and not judged. My counselor Roy has been phenomenal and helping me cope with my daily stress and the stresses that my life has brought to me he’s always there for me and always willing to talk to me no matter what and without him, for example today, I don’t know if I could’ve handled it if I hadn’t been able to talk to him today, he was there for me and calmed me down talked me through the issues and made me realize that I just need to relax and stop stressing about things that I cannot change and he is an amazing counselor and I could not ask for anything better. This place is also awesome if you need it for addiction issues, I’ve seen how they treat everybody and everybody is treated the same way with respect and dignity and they help everyone . Thank you Medmark team for everything. Y’all are the bomb!! Thanks so much! PS: Roy you are the man! Always know what to say to make me snap out of my anxiety’s and fears.

I started at the clinic a little over ten years ago with no desire to get clean , my only motivation that led me here was to avoid being physically ill on days I was to broke to use, after a couple months of counseling I quit using and my life has been so much better ever since. Without the counseling this place offers I don’t know how long I would have continued to numb and runaway from my issues. It really did save me.

I like this clinic for my clients. The staff here are on point and work hard. This please use to be full of people that were hanging out and doing drugs. I can honestly say you will not have any problems like this at this clinic. My client has an issue with getting to the facility every day and was given 3 bottles to take home after being here for less than a week.

I am truly grateful for WestCare and the staff while I was there. I want to say that they have a phenomenal program set in place for people who are seeking lifelong sobriety. If you are serious about your recovery and your program, then WestCare in my opinion, is a great place to start! I completed my program in December of 2023 and because of the guidance and tools I was given at WestCare, I remain clean today. I have 20 months and am an active member of the NA program. I think west care is a very good place to start if u are struggling with addiction they assign u to a counselor as soon as u arrive and they have classes to teach u so that u may understand how to cope with it. Going into the program u have to surrender yourself to change, they have resources to help u get on your feet to be become a productive member of society. the biggest pluses was the food on occasions and being able to bring my daughter as it is open to mothers and children. The biggest minuses where no social passes so u are not allowed to go out of the facility unless u have an appt & also being in pending ( isolation) for the first 5 days from my understanding these changes occured due to covid so they are trying to keep us safe other then that it's probably one of the best facilities to come too 🤗

end of da day, it'z a good place.. some not all staff, genuinely care about u & ur sobriety, & want to c u succeed in life.. & othr staff, well it'z der job, day got bill'z to pay.. & as for rule'z, sum r straight up ridiculous, & sum mak u feel lik ur 5 yr'z old, wit dat said, many rule'z r broken.. i'm not say'n diz is a bad place, cuz it really is not.. evryone has ther own opinion & der own experience, it really is up to u & how u spend ur day'z ther... ma experience was o.k.. in da end, i'm grateful & thankful to all da counselors, teacher'z & staff for bearing wit me & having da opportunity to come here.. i learned alot about myself & addiction..
& i made so much memorie'z dat i will remember for a lifetime, & most importantly so many forevr friend'z..
so i wish u all nothing but da best..
& hope u become a bettr version of urself, now, during recovery & in ur future..
for some, diz might b da last chance to do dat. so dont waste it..
