The best treatment I have had at any clinic in 30 years. The staff is terrific. I only wish I had used them sooner. My appointments have been on time with very little waiting. The location of the clinic in North Merced is convinent. Overall my experience stacks up to the care I remember from from the time when I was on active duty.

Meditation/awareness is not pointed at here it seems, most the mental illness/drug addiction, etc if not all comes from "Ego" or materialist/physycalist conditioning most of the world suffers from.
The psychiatric medications don't help much instead look into various "non-duality" meditation pointers, psychdelics and evidence based therapy but please do your research. It is work and nobody is here to do your work but you. Recommend a book "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie but there are many pointers as there are grains of sands in the universe,

Went here for the first time today. My experience there was good, better than what i imagined. The reviews kinda made it sound like an unwelcoming place but I believe trying to get help than no help is better than nothing, and I was happily surprised by how considerate they were and straight to the point it was, got there 10 minutes early, they gave me a fillout sheet that could be filled out in all languages, then after i did everything, progress was made very fast, got my next appointment and I'm excited to see that I'm making progress and they're making progress with me. I'll keep you updated if it gets worse or better for sure. But now, that's all I think 🤔. My daughter recently was admitted there and the staff was amazing one in particular David who really helped my daughter get through this tough time the place it’s self was very professional the staff as well. Despite the bad reviews and bad food the psychiatrist is great. She can be mean but she actually knows what she's doing. She won't drug you just because she wants things to be easier for her or fears losing her license. If you need counseling she'll refer you to counseling, if you do need meds, she'll give them to you.

I am very grateful for The Lakes. Everyone on staff was kind, patient and empathetic. We had a family member stay there and The Lakes changed her life and our lives for the better. They treated her like family and from the time she arrived to the time she was ready to come home... it was immediately apparent she was in much better health mentally, emotionally and physically. Not only did they provide her with help she sorely needed but they provide the tools needed to ensure success after as well with a more 'dual diagnostics' approach which I found VERY effective.
Now with life after The Lakes, she made friends with other guests there and has established a great support group. The Lakes approach encourages guests to develop friendships that people can carry after they leave. I've seen other treatment centers and this is not your 'typical' treatment center. This one has a much more 'family' oriented approach that will help you on multiple levels.
So THANK YOU to all the staff there... I feel like we got a new lease on life and we are super grateful for all your help. (Also... the food was excellent so kudos to the kitchen staff too) You just don't get that 'family vibe' anywhere else for a place like this and that's a key component to The Lakes success.

I just want to thank everyone there. I got frustrated at one point because I thought I was getting a Tb shot. I heard the girl wrong. She was just doing a test. My mistake. She was a sweetheart. Everyone there including security guard was great. Dr. Was one of the best Dr's I've ever spoke with. I have a back injury that got me hooked on vics. 100.00 a day nightmare. If your on anything don't go another day without calling them. Get in there and get your life back. Trust me on this. And don't worry who knows. Who cares. Its your life. Don't be ashamed. Everyone makes mistakes. Security guard was on a power trip tho. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he was not its in inside joke. He was a great great person. And I need him to just ride safe. He has a beautiful road glide... we definitely will ride together soon. Again this is the best place to get clean and you're life back. 😇

So I finally gave in and I look for treatment and I recommend this place to anybody that has alcohol or drug problems I got referred to Nirvana but everyone said go to SRC and when I went to SRC the first day was like a drip then I became knowing people and socializing more and I didn't want to leave it felt like heaven no cell phones no drama just on a positive note if I could have stayed longer than 10 days I would have but I have a broke down car that I didn't want to leave abandoned so I didn't even want to leave they have thousands of DVDs they watch movies there's pool tables there's foosball there's a white bench weight sets wait everything you want to exercise the best thing that happened in my life and the staff is great

Maynords saved my life. The tools I learned there continue to guide me every single day. The staff is absolutely incredible, compassionate, real, and dedicated. I never thought I could stop drinking or using, but I’ve been clean and sober ever since May 26, 2017. I owe so much of that to Maynords.

Very nice place and the staff seems great. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Had a great area to visit in and everyone was very friendly. My experience matched everything I've heard about the place. I'm very happy my friend is in such a good place. Make me feel better knowing she safe.
