The best treatment I have had at any clinic in 30 years. The staff is terrific. I only wish I had used them sooner. My appointments have been on time with very little waiting. The location of the clinic in North Merced is convinent. Overall my experience stacks up to the care I remember from from the time when I was on active duty.

Meditation/awareness is not pointed at here it seems, most the mental illness/drug addiction, etc if not all comes from "Ego" or materialist/physycalist conditioning most of the world suffers from. The psychiatric medications don't help much instead look into various "non-duality" meditation pointers, psychdelics and evidence based therapy but please do your research. It is work and nobody is here to do your work but you. Recommend a book "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie but there are many pointers as there are grains of sands in the universe,

My daughter recently was admitted there and the staff was amazing one in particular David who really helped my daughter get through this tough time the place it’s self was very professional the staff as well. Despite the bad reviews and bad food the psychiatrist is great. She can be mean but she actually knows what she's doing. She won't drug you just because she wants things to be easier for her or fears losing her license. If you need counseling she'll refer you to counseling, if you do need meds, she'll give them to you.

Wow when they say keep coming back cause it works well im a true testament on that. I came in to treatment with alot of issues alcohol codependency mental health issues and let me say my consular ms September she went above and beyond for me and other clients. She tought me home to cook she was there wen I needed to talk she just sat there and let me express my issues with no judgment she gave me the best advice. Ms September's class is a safe zone her door is always open I loved the one on one sessions. I gelt that my life mattered to someone I have to say thank u to Ms September most of all and all other staff members here for all the help in my recovery with out u guys who knows where id be. 7/1/26 My brother is currently seeking treatment at Maynord’s. From all of our conversations he’s had a great experience so far. The staff is great, he’s feeling better and better with each new day, the food is great, the property is beautiful and most importantly, he sounds like my brother again. He’s doing really well after over a decade of struggling with addiction. Hopefully once he’s back out into the real world he’ll continue on the way he has been recently. A huge thank you to Maynord’s and all of their staff for helping my brother through this very difficult time, it’s more appreciated than you know. 7/21/26 Update: We made the drive over for a visit and he looks AMAZING! He is doing so well, he’s in a much better place mentally than I’ve seen in over a decade. He’s happy and healthy and looking forward to life again! He graduates from Maynord’s rehabilitation program tomorrow and will then transition to their sober living facility for a little while to try and prepare himself as much as possible for a successful sober life before coming back home.
