I receiving counseling services at the Chowchilla office it's not very good at all They do not call you the day prior to your appointment and they are required to call you the day before a Dr.Appointment.They for some reason stopped calling me.I had to start going to Madera office for counseling services.Chowchilla is not professional at all very selective in who they want to help or get better.I like the psychians.The Therapist are not acceptable.I would like to see more diversity in Chowchilla counseling .

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean facility. Needs some updating and remodeling but besides that Kings View is beneficial.
Alum Rock Counseling help my granddaughter Isabelle Gonzalez allot she love going there. Unfortunately my granddaughter past away in 2018 in a car accident. But i remember picking her up and the smile she aways had on her face coming out of those doors. God bless you Counselors at this center.

Okay let's start from the beginning back in January of 2025 I completely lost my mind due to alcoholism. I reached out the first steps and they help me not just once but twice get my life back together I lost everything and now 6 months later after my second shot going into first step recovery I will have 6 months clean as of the 26th of this month November. I want to give a special shout out to Jessica from first step recovery who helped me numerous times the facility in El Dorado hills is very clean. And they care I think that's what separates them from the others. Thank you so much for step recovery.

I haven't gone here, but I would like to say that the intake specialist I spoke to when I called named Doug is an absolutely amazing man. He not only answered every question I had, but he also gave me sound advice and kind, supportive words that have really helped me in this process. Even after finding out that I would be attending a different facility, he has been there for me with support and help in any way he can and has kept up with me every day to see how things are progressing for me. Absolutely outstanding individual who clearly cares about people and is interested in their wellbeing and not just in getting them into the place he works for. Doug, you are a kind, caring, empathetic soul and have made a big impact on me and my journey through this process. Thank you for all that you do and will continue to do for people who need exactly the type of person you are on their side when they are arguably at their worst point in their lives.

First steps is one of the greatest places you could ever end up for recovery. This place was my home away from home for my stay of 90 days the great staff made me feel so welcomed as soon as I walked through the doors. To the amazing chef Darryn at the oak house cooking 5 star meals to the tech staff some of my favorite were David , Andrea , Jessica , Francisco , Char , and Angie some of the best and attentive staff! The experience was made even better by my counselor Zack p. I was so lucky to have him in my recovery this place is one of the best and I recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction you will not regret it

This place is is amazing. Trish is the best counselor around, she guides with love and a firm hand, always there to help you overcome the difficult parts! The Techs Jayden, Robby, Devyn, Taylor, and so many more are wonderful people who really care about you and help along the way! Lia is an amazing chef and friend. The facility is beautiful and well kept! This place takes rehab and recovery to a whole nother level! They make the hard part as easy as they can and definately want only the best sober life for everyone!

This is hands down the best staff we are so fortunate to have all these wonderful staff members to help you continue with ur journey to recovery I know they got new supervisor and it seems like since they did its gotten so much better I've been sober since Oct 27 2021 and this clinic has a loving personal intimate feel to it the others do not I will continue to only use this clinic to continue my. Success on recovering oh and I think Michael and Moises are the absolute best ppl that are in this field couldn't ask for anthiing better I am so lucky to have such an awesome counselor I have such a strong connection with him just grateful all the way around I honest to God couldn't say one bad thing about this place or how they run it

I have been coming here for years. This place saved my life. I was lucky for so long to have an amazing counselor with Corinna until she left. Still miss her! Then I got to be with Monica for a while until she ended up leaving. Miss her too! And now I am with Juanita and she is also awesome! I have been very lucky with the counselors I have had. Juanita inspires and encourages me every time I talk to her! I am very lucky to have her as my counselor! Although I hope to safely be off eventually I am grateful to this clinic for everything they have done. The employees here have always been kind to me and helpful.

I have struggled with addiction my entire adult like and in the course of those 40 years I have been to other programs and clinics and BARRT Cartwright was noticeably different from my first encounter. They were welcoming and respectful with no judgement and truly listened to what I had to say. The onsite manager, nurses, counselors and receptionist all get a 5-star rating!!

I started at the clinic a little over ten years ago with no desire to get clean , my only motivation that led me here was to avoid being physically ill on days I was to broke to use, after a couple months of counseling I quit using and my life has been so much better ever since. Without the counseling this place offers I don’t know how long I would have continued to numb and runaway from my issues. It really did save me.
I am truly grateful for WestCare and the staff while I was there. I want to say that they have a phenomenal program set in place for people who are seeking lifelong sobriety. If you are serious about your recovery and your program, then WestCare in my opinion, is a great place to start! I completed my program in December of 2023 and because of the guidance and tools I was given at WestCare, I remain clean today. I have 20 months and am an active member of the NA program. Thank you WestCare!!

I think west care is a very good place to start if u are struggling with addiction they assign u to a counselor as soon as u arrive and they have classes to teach u so that u may understand how to cope with it. Going into the program u have to surrender yourself to change, they have resources to help u get on your feet to be become a productive member of society. the biggest pluses was the food on occasions and being able to bring my daughter as it is open to mothers and children. The biggest minuses where no social passes so u are not allowed to go out of the facility unless u have an appt & also being in pending ( isolation) for the first 5 days from my understanding these changes occured due to covid so they are trying to keep us safe other then that it's probably one of the best facilities to come too 🤗

end of da day, it'z a good place.. some not all staff, genuinely care about u & ur sobriety, & want to c u succeed in life.. & othr staff, well it'z der job, day got bill'z to pay.. & as for rule'z, sum r straight up ridiculous, & sum mak u feel lik ur 5 yr'z old, wit dat said, many rule'z r broken.. i'm not say'n diz is a bad place, cuz it really is not.. evryone has ther own opinion & der own experience, it really is up to u & how u spend ur day'z ther... ma experience was o.k.. in da end, i'm grateful & thankful to all da counselors, teacher'z & staff for bearing wit me & having da opportunity to come here.. i learned alot about myself & addiction..
& i made so much memorie'z dat i will remember for a lifetime, & most importantly so many forevr friend'z..
so i wish u all nothing but da best..
& hope u become a bettr version of urself, now, during recovery & in ur future..

Nice building ,gated parking, plenty of parking spots, quick too call service ,rooms clean & fresh , nice medial staff, frendly nurses, great place treated well .comfort zone .
I had a great experience with the nurse practioner although I cant remember her name, she was incredibly empathetic, kind, and gentle throughout my visit. She took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel truly cared for and understood. It’s rare to find someone so patient and compassionate in healthcare. I came in there with withdrawals, I was a total mess thinking I was going to be judged, but that all went a way from the moment that I met her. Ill be praying for you!

The best treatment I have had at any clinic in 30 years. The staff is terrific. I only wish I had used them sooner. My appointments have been on time with very little waiting. The location of the clinic in North Merced is convinent. Overall my experience stacks up to the care I remember from from the time when I was on active duty.

The staff at the Merced CBOC are great ! They care about their patients and work hard to ensure the care provided is good. They do really good in navigating the VA health care system and explaining the process. Thank you!

A friend had recommended this dui program. They were also a little cheaper after calling around. Did 6 months course with Lance and honestly it went quick. Classes were engaging and they also work with if you need to reschedule or change your classes around.
