I had a great experience with the nurse practioner although I cant remember her name, she was incredibly empathetic, kind, and gentle throughout my visit. She took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel truly cared for and understood. It’s rare to find someone so patient and compassionate in healthcare. I know this program well and have been there from the very beginning. What is best about New Life is that they are real and actually see people as individualized humans rather than just another client. When it comes to treatment, it is imperative staff are competent, genuinely care, and are not about their own ego, which is exactly New Life staff. Although team members are professional, they also have a relatable aspect to them that helps clients feel trust and hope. It is pretty amazing, and as someone who lost a family member to fentanyl, I do not say these things lightly. I actually am more critical and have a higher standard. I am grateful families and clients have a program like New Life as an option at all levels of care. An added bonus, their doctor is fantastic and kind. Lastly, the cold bath option and the amazing floors and decor is unlike anything I have ever seen. I love it, and I hope you do, too. Good luck on your journey in recovery! I wish you well.

Let me share the glory of my story. I was lost, broken, and desperate so I had to look for hope. This is where God has sent me to. I used to run the streets, looking for places to hide and cope. I kept praying for God to save me from myself so He did. The love I received and treatment came with joy, peace of mind and transformation. Opening up and trusting was the hardest but most bravest things I've ever had to do. I was hungry and thirsty for life, love and freedom. When I was empty they fed me. When I was down they lifted me up. Keeping me strong on my feet for so many reasons that touched not only my life but so many people around the world and also the supporters who care. These people support, pray and give so much of there time because they value our life. The love God has had for us stretches this far. Change is good and for me it's been worth it. I have been going to Dr. May Heu (pronounced 'Her') for years. I'm a woman in my 40's and I haven't always felt comfortable talking to my doctors- especially when I was younger. Dr. May Heu is so personable, kind, and smart- she makes seeing a doctor a really great experience when we all know it can be really stressful. My sister and my daughter both see her and have felt the most comfortable with her. Dr. May Heu problem-solves efficiently to help find the best way to support you and your medical needs. She's amazing! Always great bed-side manner and doesn't blame everything you're feeling on your weight or age. She seems to really want to help you feel your best. I can always get an appt. with her (some places I had to wait weeks and weeks!), and her staff is very professional. Please try her out if you're frustrated with your current doctor, or you're looking for a new one! She's THE BEST!

My daughter recently was admitted there and the staff was amazing one in particular David who really helped my daughter get through this tough time the place it’s self was very professional the staff as well. Despite the bad reviews and bad food the psychiatrist is great. She can be mean but she actually knows what she's doing. She won't drug you just because she wants things to be easier for her or fears losing her license. If you need counseling she'll refer you to counseling, if you do need meds, she'll give them to you.

The Summit Estate Recovery Center is outstanding in every respect. The staff is top notch, highly qualified, professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. All meals are prepared by professional chefs skilled in preparing healthy food that supports the special needs of the human body in recovery. The treatment is holistic and includes nutrition, education, group and private therapy, as well as yoga, meditation, and fitness training. After a 28 day stay in the Summit residential treatment facility, I feel confidant and motivated in my continued abstinence and sobriety. The word from my peers in treatment who have experience with other facilities is that Summit is two cuts above the nearest competition. I am very grateful for my stay at summit and the loving care I received there.

Summit Estates has been a lifesaver for my family. I would describe the staff, counseling services, patient commitment and facility with every superlative term in the dictionary. Our family member received inpatient treatment, PHP and IOP through Summit over the course of a year, and we owe Summit a huge debt of gratitude. The staff members are outstanding: Roshin, Judy, Jon, Annee, to name a few. Addiction is a terrible, lonely disease, and the bright spot has been availing ourselves of the support, tools and community offered by Summit. Easy traffic and parking if go there early on Fridays. Staff is very nice. Grounds are beautiful with a lot of frequent wildlife strolling by, esp early or late. One thing I would request- return of the deli. There is no place close by to get food when there are several appointments to do.

My counselor calls me on Wednesdays at 650am and that fine but that day I could not sleep at all so when I finally fell asleep I missed my call but I tried called back at 730 and no answer so I called the front desk they had someone call me and she talked to me for about 30 min and then said she had to go because she had another client but she never said I was going to be on stand by so I thought I was Good Friday comes around and I’m on stand by smh 🤦🏽♂️ but Friday I had an interview @1pm and I let them know I can reschedule and make it up but they did not care they had me wait till 1:30pm when my interview was at 1

My disabled but independent son has been at Riviera living for over a year now. Riviera has a medication room; Pedro is very good at making sure my son takes his medication twice a day. They re-order his medication when needed and have it mailed to the facility. They have a cafeteria that cooks really hearty homestyle meals three times a day and snacks in between.
The housekeeper Susan is very aware of everyone that comes and goes. She cleans each room once a week and is like a Mom to the residents. One attendant- Elizabeth saved my son's life when she noticed he was acting strangely and followed him to his room where he had collapsed and was not breathing well. She called an ambulance.
Overall, I think that the staff are very vigilant but overworked. I think that they should hire more attendants so there is always at least 2 at a time in each house, even at night. I think it would be better if they opened a cafeteria in each home so that the residents don't have to cross the street to get to the cafeteria. Also- it would be good if they could organize hair cut visits and pedicure visits because my son will not go on his own and cannot cut his toenails by himself. The laundry is down the street so it is inconvenient for the residents to do their own laundry.

My friend often talked about how much they appreciated the positive atmosphere and how the staff and other participants helped them feel part of a community. It was heartwarming to see them regain their confidence and discover their strength.
