have ever known. It takes a courageous and transparent person to tell the truth. I thank God for his honesty. Because of his knowledge this generational curse is going to be broken. This place changed my life.. I’ve been in many treatment centers before in the last few years, but the community and structure here is unlike anywhere else - the staff and recovering addicts that come in and out of here, the building and activities that we get to participate in, are all amazing and beautiful.

My psychiatrist recommended Suncloud because I was going through a really tough time in my life. I was hesitant because I was at another treatment facility and didn't have a great experience. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to Suncloud because the staff were all so kind and genuinely cared about helping you. Their process groups can be tough but are so helpful in working through your trauma. It's been a year now since I started treatment and I can confidently say that I learned the skills and created an amazing support group that have helped me be in such a better place. Even after you're out of treatment, they have an awesome alumni group with plenty of opportunities to connect with others that have gone through similar things. I highly recommend Suncloud.

This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

When I first came to Care Addiction Center, I’ll be honest, I arrived pretty much kicking, screaming and non compliant. I was in a very dark place, but what I found was an organization filled with people who truly care from my counslers Alice and Tori, to my fellow Group members . Even when circumstances were working against me, like my insurance trying to force me to go elsewhere despite the clear progress I was making, the staff never gave up on me. Matt, who is genuinely dedicated to helping people heal, reassured me not to worry and even offered me a scholarship to continue. His only concern was that I continued to get better.

This was my first attempt at asking for help for my alcoholism
after 5 decades of drinking. This program is excellent , the counselors are the best at explaining our disease and giving us the tools and knowledge to live a life of sobriety. The manager of Care Addiction is always their to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I definitely suggest this program if you are having issues with addiction to drugs or alcohol. They will
sincerely help you and if I can do it there is definite hope for you.
I must add the key to becoming sober is listen to the counselors ,
do what they ask of you and I promise you will be on the road to sobriety! And it is a wonderful feeling and life is awesome!

My dad was brought here for continued care, and I can confidently say this is the best LTACH we’ve experienced. Most of the employees here are incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. The staff overall are truly GREAT!
Starting with the 3rd floor Nursing Manager, Joshua — an exceptional leader. He is understanding, a great listener, and was consistently supportive. He made a difficult time so much more bearable for our entire family. We are truly grateful for his presence and professionalism.
A big thanks also goes to the night-shift Nurse Supervisor, Chris, who was equally outstanding and always on top of things.
The nursing team deserves major recognition as well. Sylvia is top tier, and Andrea, Brigitte, Fidaa, Bosky, Jennifer, Dorian, Ritchie, Rincy, and Agaa were all excellent and deeply caring throughout.
Respiratory Tech Joby stood out for his professionalism and kindness, along with team members like Vikram, Mercy, Billy, Benzie, and Anna. Unfortunately, I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 due to one very poor experience with a tech named Sheena, which did affect our overall impression of the respiratory department.
I also want to commend the wonderful security team at the main entrance — Fedle, Bob, and Jerry were always warm and helpful. Special shoutout to Jasimine for her positive attitude.
There are many more staff members whose names I can’t recall, but they all contributed to a truly positive experience. If you’re considering this facility for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend it. You can bring your family member here with peace of mind knowing they’ll be well cared for.

My son has been struggling for years and has been to several rehabs. Some bad some great. He's currently at this one and I have seen such a huge difference in him! He is making healthy plans for the future and is full of hope again! He loves that they get to go outside for basketball and the other clients act like family. I like that it's separated with men on one unit and ladies on the other. Having been through treatments myself, I know this is crucial. My son has nothing but good things to say about this facility and I can definitely see the positive change, as can our family. We thank you 🙏❤️

I’ve been to Compass, and it honestly helped me a lot. I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression since quarantine, and I learned some really good coping skills here. The child program’s great, and the adolescent one’s okay. There were a few things I didn’t love, but overall it was a good experience and the two months I was there really paid off.

Compass helped give me my life back! I was in program for a few months. Compass was a safe and comfortable environment to grow and learn. I highly recommend the OCD/complex anxiety program to those who may struggle with anxiety and OCD. Exposure therapy changed my life. I am so grateful for my time at Compass. I couldn’t have asked for a better treatment team.

When the time came I went to the appointment and they were so sweet, understanding, and very resourceful!!!. I was amazed, and happy!!! First off, it's a blessing itself to have a facility FREE OF CHARGE!!! I am so grateful for Nicasa and the incredible support I received from their team. With the guidance of my caseworker, Ms. Darlene, I was able to make real progress in my life. She not only encouraged me to continue my education, but also helped me get my driver’s license and supported me through the process of having my background expunged. Because of her kindness, professionalism, and dedication, I have been able to put my life back together in ways I never thought possible.
I also want to recognize her supervisor, Ms. Sindey, whose support and understanding made a huge difference. Both of them carry a genuine heart for the community and give their time, energy, and compassion to help families across Lake County.
What makes Nicasa so special is that they are not just another organization—they truly care. They spend countless hours serving people and making a positive impact. Great staff and very helpful during a rough time because chances are, if you need to come here, its court ordered. This is the most affordable place to take your classes and even of you are a low risk you will be surprised what you learn and take away from these classes. Mario, Amanda, and Frank are awesome from my time spent there in 2005 and they (plus others I've never met) have been excellent for my fiancee who had a whopping 75hrs to complete. This place is really great.
