I called the narcotics anonymous hotline about my son and they arranged for us to take him to Boca. My son didn't really want to go, but he went and was so glad he did. He is now over 5 months clean and doing extremely well. Thank you, Boca, for giving me my son back. He had nothing but great things to say about the way he was treated at your facility. When we picked up my son, we could see that the staff was very caring. There were hugs and tears from my son and others that he connected with. There was kind words and positivity from the staff. I would recommend Boca and I have to people who have asked. Thanks, again, Boca! ❤️

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . I love coming here, it’s the best primary care experience I’ve ever had. Christine never rushes me through my appointments, she actually listens to what I have to say and answers any questions I have. I always leave feeling heard and helped. Any time I miss an appointment they get me in the next day or sometimes later that same day, and they’re really understanding when that happens, I’ve never had an issue with scheduling. I suggest this place to anyone for simple, effective, primary care.

This place is completely improved on management and everything here, the intake process took about 2 1/2 hours, but it was definitely worth it because I had to do computer work first and then I had to do the pre-intake and then the actual intake, but I would highly recommend going here. I used to go back here in 2018 and it was great then but the management was not wonderful there. The front desk people weren’t great back then but now they have tremendously changed For the better now the front office people are amazing. The new representative for the front office. There is amazing as well. Her name is Vanessa, and the other front office lady there, which was amazing. Her name was Michele. I would highly recommend both of them to see them when you going to the building. They are very talkative and very communicative and very respectful. I would highly recommend going here for therapy as well. Back in 2018. I did see two different therapist here from 2018 to 2020 and they were both amazing. I also saw a psychiatrist here back in 2018 and they did an amazing job as well. I can’t wait to look forward to seeing what they have done now to improve for therapy and psychology. 11/27/24

I first went to Selah in January of 2023 and then had to return for extra support this past June. In the 2.5 years between my two stays, I saw a lot of changes and improvements made. My first stay was great, but this second time was even better. The clinical team truly cares about me as a person and were always listening to my needs and striving to meet them. The after-care coordinator, Christi, works so hard to make sure clients are set up for success post leaving Selah House. I felt seen, heard, and loved there and would recommend them to anyone seeking out treatment for an eating disorder. Thank you, Selah, for giving me my life back!

Hello! I decided to come to Selah House after struggling with my ED for several years. My rock bottom was ER trip after a night out drinking. I was in denial about my ED. I came to Selah in denial about even having one. Selah did save me though; they made me realize how much I was hurting but what I could do to help myself. I got to choose my recovery. I had the choice to get better or to sit in my own misery. I loved that I was given the choice. I really felt like I was a member of my own team, that I got a say in what happened to ME. I can say now that I have made recovery driven choices. As I leave, I’m scared, but I’ve also been given the resources to continue to heal. This wasn’t a fix-all, but a perfect way to start the journey that is recovery from ED.

These housing people are the best! Shout out to Fabian and Sheila and many thanks for getting me into my new house. I appreciate all that you all did for me. God bless you both. And to the people on here complaining about what did or did not happen for them... You have to realize these people have guidelines they have to follow and with a little patience and ingenuity on your part is helpful. If you'll work with them they'll do everything they can for you but you have to put in some time and effort if you want results. I've been with these people for years and yes there's gonna be some disappointments but for the most part they have helped me. Just remember be patient and kind. It goes a long way when you're in need of their help. They have feelings too.🕊️

I've been seeing a therapist at Greenfield Gallahue & couldn't be happier with the care I've received. As with any medical condition and seeing a specialist for that problem can take several weeks to months to get in to see that specialist. The same is true with therapist. It can take alot of time to get in. I mention this because I want to share for anyone reading this to not give up if you don't get an answer, call again. If we were having a heart problem we take it seriously and we would keep calling that cardiologist until we got in, right? But it might take weeks or months to get in, unless its an emergency and in that case we go to the ER. Your mental health and when something is going on we can see a specialist and if its an emergency that's when an inpatient *emergency * is going on and we need to have immediate care. If youre in crisis right now you can call or text 988 and talk to someone rightaway. In the mean time, make the appointment and hang in there. It's hard right now to get in to any doctor or specialist and most if them are really doing the best they can too because they're human -- just like us.

I’ve been going to therapy here with Erica for a little over a month and it’s going great. It’s really nice doing virtual appointments and the initial intake questions that you have to do typically beforehand was done over the phone when I scheduled my appointment. Just absolutely incredible place to start a new way of life. Wonderful, involved staff and Alumni. Weekly alumni meeting so you can stay involved afterwards. Nothing but great things to say. This IS the best place to go for Residential Treatment. No comparisons. If your insurance isn’t accepted, or you don’t have option to self pay, Fairbanks residential is a great program as well. In Love and Light, Namaste.
