So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside.
Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! I went through Trinity house in 1988. My reviews at the time would’ve been stellar. On that note, you really need to look at all of the reviews on all of the review sites. I don’t know if Google really vets their reviews so do some really good research before you decide against this place. I’ve been sober for 37 years.

I don’t know who the negative reviews are from but some people (patients) are the because they are psychotic & out of control. Its a secure facility. You aint in there fore a vacation. You are there for treatment.
Ive been twice. Staff are awesome...every one of them. Food os great. Big screen TV & about 150 movies, books, private rooms.
Constant checking & monitoring.
I wont be back but I recommend it to anyone serious about getting better.

Huge stepping stone for my life. I’ve been to a lot of places in my history of addiction/recovery and this was the one place I actually felt like I was equal. The staff go above and beyond for legit anything you need or struggle with. I never once felt alone. Most places and people in recovery are there for a paycheck, this place? The absolute opposite. Dawg this was one of the scariest yet BEST decisions I made for my recovery journey as well as myself. The love and care is endless.

I was fortunate to go to Skywood this year. I have been to another facility which I thought was pretty nice. I now know what a Great facility is. The campus alone is beautiful, the woods, the buildings, the trails. The staff are well rounded. Multiple styles of therapy, decades of personal experience all shared in multiple different classes, small groups, one on ones and community wide lessons. Great staff also keep the large campus and large community running. The food, entertainment and activities are constant. The large campus offers plenty of fresh air and room to roam. You are not trapped inside locked buildings. The community bonding in the afternoons and evenings makes for an easy environment to get sober and learn about your sobriety. I would hands down recommend Skywood to anyone who is serious about doing the work and getting sober.

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... I love what the Harbor Light Center is doing for our community! I know several people who have gone through this program and they have been transformed by the incredible love and care they received there. This is a top-notch detox and addiction treatment program and it shows. Harbor Light welcomes anyone - no matter what their background is or how many times they've been through recovery. The staff doesn't give up on anyone! Everyone says that the big difference between The Salvation Army's program and the others they'd experienced was how faith became a part of their recovery for the first time. Recovery is so much easier when you know that you're never alone in your journey. We are truly blessed to have an affordable and quality program like this right here in Indiana.

For all the bad publicity you see in the news, you wouldn't be able to tell by visiting this location. I've been using them for 6.5 years. Urgent care is faster than local walk-in clinics OR the hospital, and the staff has always been caring and attentive. The VA is a great benefit for veterans.

You guys have been a very important part of my recovery and I must say my experience from the psychiatrist to the therapist and the group facilitator are all wonderful at what they do and I want to move to another state but I don't think I will find the level of care and professionalism I've received at midtown.

When I first pulled up and seen the building I said oh God this can't be the place then they gave me tour inside and I said oh God but I made it my 28 days plus got my excellent in recovery certificate and my little Stone only had a couple problems with a few staff members the last week the doctor didn't want to see me and the recovery Coach Guy didn't want to see me for some reason but the head nurse I'll give her four stars

You have to realize these people have guidelines they have to follow and with a little patience and ingenuity on your part is helpful. If you'll work with them they'll do everything they can for you but you have to put in some time and effort if you want results. I've been with these people for years and yes there's gonna be some disappointments but for the most part they have helped me. Just remember be patient and kind. It goes a long way when you're in need of their help. They have feelings too.🕊️
