The clinical team truly cares about me as a person and were always listening to my needs and striving to meet them. Hello! I decided to come to Selah House after struggling with my ED for several years. My rock bottom was ER trip after a night out drinking. I was in denial about my ED. I came to Selah in denial about even having one. Selah did save me though; they made me realize how much I was hurting but what I could do to help myself. I got to choose my recovery. I had the choice to get better or to sit in my own misery. I loved that I was given the choice. I really felt like I was a member of my own team, that I got a say in what happened to ME. I can say now that I have made recovery driven choices. As I leave, I’m scared, but I’ve also been given the resources to continue to heal. This wasn’t a fix-all, but a perfect way to start the journey that is recovery from ED.

So I have struggled with addiction issues for years and The Anderson Center was one of the treatment facilities that I had the opportunity to try. I was part of the in patient, as well as, the out patient. I have been doing outpatient services there now for the last couple of yrs. I am extremely surprised at all the bad reviews that I have read because in my experience, the staff and DR's have all been wonderful and have went above and beyond my expectations. I also want to give a special review for Dr. Skinner. He is my Dr. now and this man is incredible in every way possible! Immediately, you can tell that he is genuinely vested in his work and his patients. If it wasn't for him, I don't know where I would be today. I was undiagnosed and misdiagnosed for over 10 yrs. and after one appt. with him, was immediately diagnosed with major depression disorder and Bi-Polar disorder. I am now being treated for both and feel like I have my life back. I was lucky enough for Dr. Skinner to take me on as his patient and he has literally saved me. I will forever be greatful!!!

Just a few weeks ago, sobriety was something I didn't think was possible. I have been through a lot as a severe alcoholic, for several years. It took me two tries- no fault of the facility, whose loving kindness is what brought me out of the maelstrom of alcohol addiction, and I am affronted by the poor reviews I see.
The staff was entirely attentive to every detail of my recovery and needs throughout. The entire staff is commendable. The experience was life changing for me. I cannot give them enough credit.
I am happier with the decision I made to return to the Anderson Center than with any other decision I have made in my entire life. Period. I am so happy to be sober, it amazes me minute by minute, second by second. Every moment is amazing now. I owe it to the care of the team, but I owed it to myself.
If you think sobriety is a bad thing, you haven't really given it a try.

So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside.
Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! Indiana is ranked 7th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54,824.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Indiana vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Indiana. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Indiana that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options.
