Marsha is caring and compassionate, her expertise in ART is life changing! I have been able to work through PTS and major trauma. If you want to really work through trauma without having to relive everything over and over do the ART! It has truly been life changing for me. It is amazing and gives quick resolve by allowing you to use both sides of your brain to heal, not live in the perpetual fear and trauma of just one part! I successfully completed a 28 day stay at Bridges of Hope in August 2026. Highly recommend Bridges of Hope for help with addictions. The staff are amazing and truly care for their clients recovery. The grounds are beautiful, food is top notch, very clean inside and out, and the groups/classes are very informative. Best therapists I’ve been spoken with in my life. I love RCA! I miss this place so much. They helped me so much over the past year. Ive been a few times and they genuinely care about your life. Semata does so much for the patients and cares about our wellbeing. She deals with a lot of bs from people and she never let's it get her down. Clarence knew how to get into my head and help me understand and navigate my emotions and feelings and how to deal with them in the future. Honestly, he probably saved my life. Dante is such a great person and he works so hard making your time there fun and enjoyable. I love Lacy and Courtney they understood my issues and came up with realistic solutions. As a dietitian and outreach professional, I refer to Selah House often and have had consistently positive experiences with their team. I work primarily with their case manager, Christi Maidlow, whose professionalism and dedication truly stand out. She genuinely cares about each client and takes the time to make sure their placement is the right fit, even when that means referring them elsewhere. The entire team at Selah House is kind, compassionate, and committed to evidence-based practices. I have a great deal of trust in this team and feel confident referring clients to them. They are a wonderful partner in the care of those we serve.

Entering rehab for the first time at 67 years of age was terrifying, simply because I didn't know what to expect. My journey with an eating disorder began when I was just 13 years old, and looking back, it has been a long road. After a health scare in September of 2024 served as a wake-up call, I reached out to a family member who had been down the same path. She recommended a counselor who had also struggled with an eating disorder as a teenager. Initially, I didn't think I had a problem. I was perfectly content with my body size, even though everyone around me kept saying how thin I was. I eventually found a dietitian, and though she and my counselor worked tirelessly with me, I wasn't ready to listen or follow their guidance. Finally, in April of 2025, I realized I needed inpatient help. Because I wanted a faith-based facility, they recommended Selah House. I flew to Anderson, Indiana, incredibly anxious about the unknown. However, the moment I stepped inside the house, I felt at home. The staff welcomed me with open arms and truly understood my journey. The facility itself is beautiful. I especially loved Marcy (who did equine therapy), Jordan (my dietitian), and Amy (my therapist). While there are too many incredible staff members to name, they all made an impact. I even grew to love art therapy! The sessions were incredibly helpful, and I loved that we went on outings and attended church on Sundays. I cannot say enough good things about Selah House, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking healing from an eating disorder.

I love coming here, it’s the best primary care experience I’ve ever had. I never feel rushed through my appointments, they actually listen to what I have to say and answer any questions I have. I always leave feeling heard and helped. Any time I miss an appointment they get me in the next day or sometimes later that same day, and they’re really understanding when that happens, I’ve never had an issue with scheduling. I suggest this place to anyone for simple, effective, primary care.

This place is like an oasis in the desert, if you have been struggling with substance use, and you have a desire to get yourself to a better place in the future. Unlike other rehab centers I have been to in the past, everyone here has treated me like a human being as opposed to a patient. I can feel the love in this place which helps heal my spirit. Also the physical food is good and readily available anytime one is hungry, or not. I don't think they will let me stay here forever but I here they have some really good after programs to help those that may need it.

Last month, I had the pleasure of attending Harbor Light IOP's Graduation and I was moved in so many ways I truly felt obligated to write a review about my experience. At this graduation, the valedictorian's name was Henry. He read a speech to the members in the audience and after his speech, he read a break up letter to the drug that had him in bondage for so many years. In this letter he reminisced on the good times they experienced, the great times with the women and the important life events he missed while being under the influence of this drug. The saying "all good things, must come to an end" was evident while he read this letter to the crowd. Henry decided that Harbor Light Center was going to be his home to assist him with obtaining and maintaining his sobriety. He thanked the caring and loving staff for they way they made him well welcomed on his first day. The Harbor Light Center is the truly place for New Beginnings, and I was honored to witness that Henry and the rest of his graduating class achieved their New Beginning at The Harbor Light Center. A place filled with love, compassion and support! I will continue to make referrals to the HLC! Please continue doing the rewarding work that you do, as YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

I had a great experience at Harbor Light Center, Salvation Army. I was so determined that this place would not help me or me turn my life back around but you know what after detox for a week and a couple of weeks after I started to feel normal again I learned that I could not get better in a couple days. HLC changed my life around it’s been going good and strong for 5 years now I feel amazing I want to thank them. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this PHP program. From the facilitators (Kennedy, Joy, Cat, Rose) program (Jake from state farm) and clinical (Madelyn) director to the techs, (Reagen the stallion, Jamie, Ashley, Naomi, & Jamie #2) case managers (Mr. Brady, Kolby) and therapist (Taylor gang, G-reg, Courtney, Stephanie) every person I interacted with genuinely contributed to such a positive and high-quality treatment experience. I felt supported, heard, and cared for throughout my time there. The women’s house was absolutely amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and felt like a safe place to come home to after a difficult day. One thing that really stood out to me was that many of the techs are also in recovery themselves. The lead techs, Carla, Cece, and Theresa made such a difference for me because there was a level of understanding and relatability that made the environment feel more like home. I never felt judged or like I had to explain myself to someone who couldn’t understand what I was going through. The outreach coordinator (Jay) was also incredible. Every two weeks, he would come to the house and bring restaurant food for everyone, which was such a thoughtful touch and gave us something to look forward to. More importantly, he made an effort to build genuine relationships with us while we were in the program. Because of that, reaching out for support after leaving didn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable—I already had a relationship and felt comfortable contacting him when I needed help. Overall, this program gave me so much more than treatment. It gave me a sense of community, accountability, support, and connection. I am incredibly grateful for the people who poured into me during my time there and helped make what can be an incredibly difficult chapter feel a little less overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone who is ready to take recovery seriously and wants to be surrounded by people who genuinely care.

ICFR Caramel is undoubtedly an amazing blessing. From the moment I decided to seek treatment there. They’ve helped me all the way through. The intake staff, was very informative and took care of everything. Once at the facility, Pam Is a godsend. She’ll take care of every need. The groups are a nice size, so you’re able to discuss your issues and the therapist stay on topic. Carmela is amazing! She will work with you, to let you talk about what you’re going through and has so much wisdom it amazes me how she is able to encourage individuals in the group. I think we have one of the best nurse practitioners I’ve ever met, her name is Eve.. She takes the time to get to know you and really cares about how you’re doing and what your needs are. She’ll work with you if there’s anything you need. I highly recommend ICFR Carmel.
