Great place helped me get sober

My psychiatrist sent to Valle Vista to detox off Xanax after 20 years of being prescribed on it. At first I was skeptical about being there, but that changed over about a day, when I felt I needed outside medical care the nursing staff was quick to jump and get me to the emergency room. My stay was about 6 days, and over those days it was rough but the staff and facility made this process easier. I want to give a shout out to Amber and Julia in unit 2/3 you two helped my stay in a positive way and I say thank you. I don’t plan to return but know it’s available if I need it. I’m actually so impressed that I would be willing to send my daughter here if she needs a reset on her meds and sleep pattern.

The best part of this center is not the program or the therapies but the people who work here. Very good people who want to see people improve day by day and their principal goal is to help those in need.

This industry has always been there for me and still here for me now. I am a veteran that was about to be evicted and had hard time getting the necessities until I called them. I talk to 5 other industries and they were the first to pickup their phone and helped me with all my issues the best to their ability. I don’t regret calling them. They are the best that I know of. Thank you.

This place was a God send for me & gave me my life back! Some staff was very unprofessional, but most who really cared stood out and was there to help me every step of the way. My Therapist Ms. Tiffany was my God sent Angel!

This place changed my life. It gave me the structure and. Time to get back on my feet. I loved the staff. Some became my family my time there.. it’s a good step to make when your strung out with nothing.. it will get you someplace

This place was so great when I had to bring my wife in. The intake staff was particularly helpful and kind (specifically Misty, Jennifer, Veronica, and Joey). They made sure every need of ours was met while waiting for a bed and even brought extra snacks for me without having to ask. Very caring staff!

I had exceptional care here. The staff makes you feel like a person. It was a good environment for me.

other than the very long wait this clinic is so good and everyone is so nice, the bad reviews are from first time visitors and people going for dental. I LOVE DR. RIVERA, and all my nurses shout out to them.

We have not had good experiences here in the past. But yesterday my mom had surgery and will have another one Monday morning. The staff ALL THE WAY AROUND have been absolutely the best. From the Doctors and the nurses, to the cafeteria staff and cleaning staff have gone above and beyond. Thank you for taking such good care of my Momma.

I am about 3weeks out from neurosurgery with Dr. Matthew Pease and Dr. Vijay Ramakrishnan. The staff there is phenomenal! My doctors were very supportive and professional. My surgery was a big deal, and I had people flying in to show support. My loved ones were all starstruck and delighted with my doctors. Ana in preop is hilarious! I make jokes when I’m nervous/ uncomfortable. She entertained my shenanigans to no end. Her smile is so infectious! I’m pretty sure we’re besties! 🔒🤞🏻❤️ Kayla was in the neuro icu, and I had the pleasure of being in her care for (2) 12 hour shifts. She kept me comfortable and my family informed. Her confidence authenticity and charm dissolved the worried expressions on my loved one’s faces. For that, I am forever grateful. 🥹 🥰 Side note, she has Disney Princess hair. I was in Courtney’s care my first time staying overnight. I remember there was a machine that had malfunctioned, it kept going off every time she took 3 steps out my room! Courtney stayed cool 😎 calm and collected. I appreciate her professionalism. At the end of her shift, she told me she was bummed out that she had the night off. She said she wish she had the pleasure of caring for me again! Wow! I’m pretty sure that’s the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. Katherine aka Katie took care of me the second stay overnight. She has thee most beautiful curly red hair and eyelashes that don’t stop! ✋🏻 She wheeled me down to the basement for a follow up MRI. It just so happened, there was also another person that needed to be brought downstairs too. Then in the middle of her juggling us two; my family called the desk to check on my progress. She made it look easy. I almost judged her too harshly for not knowing the movie Joe Dirt on the tv. Then she told me she was born in 2001! Lol I said oh! I forgot! I’m old! 🤣 Ray came in with a trainee Eileen, on my last day in the neuro ICU. He said would you like some more pillows? I looked confused. 🤔 I already had 2 behind my head. He said “like this”, and put a pillow under each arm. He said like a princess! 👑 😍 I might be nearly 40, but that really stuck with me. He made me feel special. All the staff at IU Methodist, treated me like a star!⭐️ I don’t wish to have any visits under those circumstances. I do hope anyone in need of care has a similar experience to mine. (I wish I knew another way to acknowledge these individuals, since they’re so good at their jobs.)
