The staff there was excellent the entire time, and they really tailored the experience to my needs following an inpatient stay for substance use and mental health. Throughout my time, I gained many tools and skills that I continue to utilize in my everyday life. It is by far the best outpatient program I have attended. I want to give a special shout-out to Amanda and Sarah, who were my therapist and care coordinator. They always listened to my needs and concerns and proved that I was important as an individual. I also want to shoutout others I met like Emma, Terrance and Mariah. Everyone definitely played a huge role in my success there. While preparing my aftercare program from inpatient treatment, I spent a lot of time choosing an outpatient program, and I’m happy to say I could not have made a better choice. This is not an exaggeration--I have realized that recently. I could name a very long list of the medications I have tried over the years: I have been on SOMEthing since the 1980s. Some helped at the very beginning of trying that particular antidepressant, or anti-anxiety meds, but nothing truly worked. I would become more discouraged until I just gave up, more hopeless than I was before I started them. Though never suicidal, I lived in a very dark and gray space. I tried, I really did. But there just was nothing out there that was going to convince me there was a long-term solution, let alone "cure" for depression and anxiety. The results with all medications I tried, along with talk therapy in various stages, just were NOT the solution. Enter Alpha Omega Wellness. Call it serendipity, but while scrolling, there was an ad with Dr. Dee and another patient talking about REMISSION from depression. Their facial expressions said "sincerity". My curiosity was piqued. I pressed the "Learn More" the second time they showed up in my feed. I found out about neuroplasticity and how important it is to brain health. How ketamine, if administered properly, can deliver the type of relief I had been seeking and praying for. It has been 6 weeks. From the first visit, I felt cared about and cared for. The goal was simple: to be FREE from depression and anxiety. I can unequivocally state that I am free from depression and anti-anxiety. No joke. I pinch myself that after decades of barely functioning, I feel like I have my life back. Life still goes on: we all struggle, but instead of feeling like what else could possibly go wrong, I dont feel defeated. No perpetual overwhelming sadness, no more Eeyore days. I hope this gives you hope. I hope you will value yourself enough to make yourself a priority for 6 weeks. You are worth it. I cant even say how amazing it is to look back just 6 short weeks and see how far this has brought me. You can be free from the boulder of depression and/or anxiety. First, I am not religious and wasn't aware that they are considered religious based until after I went to my first treatment. This was not an issue at all, so don't let that out you off. I absolutely loved seeing Megan come in and sit cross legged in the chair as she talked to me. Something as simple as that helped. I wanted something personal, not clinical. The infusion itself was strange but not unpleasant. I thought with my control issues I would have to remind myself I was ok. I did not need to. I felt very comfortable in my room and confident that someone would be close by if I needed them. I have noticed so many little changes, all positive, after the first treatment. I am excited to see what my second one does for me. Highly recommend. A R 4 months ago I wasn’t sure what to expect going into ketamine therapy, but this place completely changed my perspective. It’s helped me a lot with depression and anxiety. Dr. Dee and his wife Megan run a great family-owned business. Dr. Dee and Megan took the time to talk with me personally—not just about treatment, but about things going on in my life—and even gave me advice that helped me with my business, which meant a lot. Some of the staff have actually gone through the therapy themselves, so they truly understand it and can answer questions from real experience. Everyone there is welcoming and makes the whole process comfortable. Dr. Dee has clearly done extensive research into this therapy and knows what he’s doing. She also had an excellent counselor that provided very pointed counseling specific to my wife’s life and needs. At this graduation, the valedictorian's name was Henry. He read a speech to the members in the audience and after his speech, he read a break up letter to the drug that had him in bondage for so many years.
