I'm attending these classes, and while the staff make good points, their approach is undermined by their inability to address and correct the group's critical analysis and misunderstandings about people or the topic. This lack of intervention doesn't help tensions at home for those whom lack empathy and care for individual feelings. For instance, a lesson on body language highlighted other peoples perceptions of crossing arms. While it’s good to know that crossing your arms can sometimes be perceived as being closed off, it’s problematic when the group assumes this is always the case emotionally, for them or the other person. In reality, crossing arms can be a self-soothing gesture, indicating discomfort with the topic, not necessarily a lack of openness. This was a perfect example of a misconception that should have been corrected by the group leaders. It’s disappointing because the purpose of the class is to help us, yet the staff seem to stick rigidly to their points without critically understanding or correcting important misconceptions that could later potentially provoke aggravation due to that lack of empathy. As an autistic individual, arguments, misunderstandings, and communication as a whole are particularly overwhelming for me, and I expected more supportive and insightful guidance. In essence, you can’t just show a horse where the water is and expect it to drink without a nudge in the right direction. The same applies here: without proactive and empathetic guidance from the staff in this group setting, these sessions won’t be as effective for those who need it most. With only weekly meetups, I wish the program would improve to truly help those attending, but is obviously not intensive or concise enough.

I can't express enough the gratitude to RTC. No court order was involved, it was all voluntary on both my part and my granddaughters. I was at one of my lowest points and worried sick. It was an extremely hard decision. From day one, not only was my granddaughter getting the help she needed but so was I. It didn't matter what time of day I called or what department I called, someone was always there to listen and help me understand and yes, let me cry. We have a long way to go still but she's still alive. Due to mental health issues our child needed to be helped. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. We have extensive experience with mental health hospitals and clinics because we value the mental health of our families. If you need help with your child, I can't recommend a better hospital. They are professionals and so nice. But most importantly, they actually care.

Dr. Blake has been absolutely wonderful in helping our family. The office staff included are so kind and helpful. We have seen several therapists in different practices and I can say I am so thankful for the expertise we have found with Dr. Blake in navigating complex diagnoses.

Dr. Quest helped me work through my depression and anxiety back in 2021, and the group DBT helped give me additional tools to cope and manage life.

This place is amazing and I highly recommended their services when dealing with difficult family/post-family dynamics. My "used-to-be", mother-in-law was able to come in and participate in one of my daughter's sessions to help with my daughter's anxiety when having supervised visitation with my daughter's father (grandmother supervises the visits). This was extremely helpful having someone else help regulate relationship expectations and reinforce the importance of vetting the father's sobriety during visitations. Thank you to everyone at Woodview Psychology for being so amazing and helpful and special thank you to Dr. Robin. We love this place and are so thankful for how much help we have received.

The staff were polite and answered any questions I had. The wait for my walk-in appointment was not too bad. The only negative thing I can say about the visit is that they were "not allowed" to turn on the television, the receptions told me that there had been arguments started over it in the past. I'm not sure if they were over the contents of what was being aired or something else. They also had no magazines to look through while you wait. Maybe, someone could make a donation. Not everyone has a phone to stare at while they wait.

Registration is a bit of a pain, but they are a great resource, and they've helped me a lot.

They provide exemplary mental health and addiction therapy for those in need. They also provide foster care. I'm always surprised by the quality of care provided.

I had an amazing experience with the adolescent side. Great nurses and therapists. My daughter has done great since we picked her up.

So I have struggled with addiction issues for years and The Anderson Center was one of the treatment facilities that I had the opportunity to try. I was part of the in patient, as well as, the out patient. I have been doing outpatient services there now for the last couple of yrs. I am extremely surprised at all the bad reviews that I have read because in my experience, the staff and DR's have all been wonderful and have went above and beyond my expectations. I also want to give a special review for Dr. Skinner. He is my Dr. now and this man is incredible in every way possible! Immediately, you can tell that he is genuinely vested in his work and his patients. If it wasn't for him, I don't know where I would be today. I was undiagnosed and misdiagnosed for over 10 yrs. and after one appt. with him, was immediately diagnosed with major depression disorder and Bi-Polar disorder. I am now being treated for both and feel like I have my life back. I was lucky enough for Dr. Skinner to take me on as his patient and he has literally saved me. I will forever be greatful!!!

Just a few weeks ago, sobriety was something I didn't think was possible. I have been through a lot as a severe alcoholic, for several years. It took me two tries- no fault of the facility, whose loving kindness is what brought me out of the maelstrom of alcohol addiction, and I am affronted by the poor reviews I see. The staff was entirely attentive to every detail of my recovery and needs throughout. The entire staff is commendable. The experience was life changing for me. I cannot give them enough credit. I am happier with the decision I made to return to the Anderson Center than with any other decision I have made in my entire life. Period. I am so happy to be sober, it amazes me minute by minute, second by second. Every moment is amazing now. I owe it to the care of the team, but I owed it to myself. If you think sobriety is a bad thing, you haven't really given it a try.
