Boca Recovery was my saving grace. I was given the ultimatum that if couldn’t get clean from alcohol and marijuana, then I would be removed from my children’s lives and have no chance of getting custody back. As an addict I just didn’t see me able to do this alone. I Google searched top rehabs in Oklahoma, and came across Boca Recovery. When I spoke to a recruiter they informed me that the facility was not in Oklahoma, but he told me not to panic. If I was ready, then all I had to worry about was making sure I was going to board on my scheduled flight. It seemed too good to be true, but sure enough they delivered and made sure I made it there safely. As soon as I stepped foot into the facility the staff treated me with the best care. Not only that, but the facility was very well maintained. You’re seen by a nurse the first day, and they set you up with everything you’ll need for the detox process. All therapist and case managers work together to build the best treatment plan that suits the patient/client. Not to mention the food they provide is amazing! Thanks to Boca recovery I have passed every UA since I’ve been out, and am able to be involved in my children’s lives again. Before arriving to Boca I didn’t see any of this being possible. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction!

BOCA saved my life. It offered me safety, stability, and daily expectations that I needed desperately. From the first day of entering the program the techs were welcoming, understanding, and supportive which eased my anxiety and allowed me to relax. The clinical staff I worked with is amazing and they helped me begin to understand why I needed to be there and pushed me to see that I also deserved happiness and peace of mind. The community that was created during my stay is one that is with me for life. Lifelong friendships have been created and we stay in touch to this day which has been critical for my sense of belonging. Before Hickory I ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very surfaced . The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Even when some of us are at our absolute lowest and have lost sight of everything and everyone else . It s impossible, even then to lose sight of someone making us feel GENUINELY cared about. I've been seeing a therapist at Greenfield Gallahue & couldn't be happier with the care I've received. As with any medical condition and seeing a specialist for that problem can take several weeks to months to get in to see that specialist. The same is true with therapist. It can take alot of time to get in. I mention this because I want to share for anyone reading this to not give up if you don't get an answer, call again. If we were having a heart problem we take it seriously and we would keep calling that cardiologist until we got in, right? But it might take weeks or months to get in, unless its an emergency and in that case we go to the ER. Your mental health and when something is going on we can see a specialist and if its an emergency that's when an inpatient *emergency * is going on and we need to have immediate care. If youre in crisis right now you can call or text 988 and talk to someone rightaway. In the mean time, make the appointment and hang in there. It's hard right now to get in to any doctor or specialist and most if them are really doing the best they can too because they're human -- just like us.

It s really nice doing virtual appointments and the initial intake questions that you have to do typically beforehand was done over the phone when I scheduled my appointment. The person was very sensitive to my comfort level in regards to answering touchy questions. I ve seen ALOT of therapists throughout my life and I feel so comfortable with Erica and I actually enjoy hearing her input.

This place is a great place to go if you need help with substance abuse or just mental health as well. When I went, I unfortunately didn’t take it very seriously but the people that did take it seriously have been very successful. Kyler was a great mentor while I was there, and he along with the other techs all seem very genuine and honest and willing to help in anyway they can. I am extremely grateful for this place, as well as Kyler especially. I don’t think I would be where I am today without him as a mentor.

Our adult daughter was admitted to the inpatient part of Selah almost 4 months ago. It was a scary time for all of us. Looking back, I can only say that they all took great care of our daughter and we will be forever grateful to everyone there for all they did to play a part in saving her life. All of it was hard and difficult for her and all of her loved ones at home. But step by step, she and us learned to trust the process and healing began for all of us. There is something special about this place that is not explainable unless you visit. It is the amount of kindness and care present there. We have been to a few other facilities and they all seem the same in the sense that they are rigid, medical, often crabby people at times who are there for a paycheck... But that is not descriptive of this place. The people truly care about what they do. And not just one or two staff.- it is throughout.And that is honestly the most important piece of the eating disorder recovery - to feel cared about and understood; acknowledged.Thank You Selah for saving our daughter's life!She discharges tomorrow - and this account is not my actual name - but you probably know who! Nancy thanked me today for letting them care for our child. She is the one who needs the thanks. They all do... too many names to name them all and I would accidentally leave some out.Our family will always say an extra prayer for the staff, youth, and families whom.have made their way to the Selah House. I had an overall good experience at Selah house. It was obvious how much all the staff care about the clients. The main reason I didn t give it 5 stars is because they have serious staffing issues. I was inpatient and had a feeding tube so I could only go on outings if there was a nurse present and enough rcs. There were at least 3 times I couldn t go because of staffing. The treatment program itself is extremely beneficial. Overall selah is an amazing program and would highly recommended it. I want to thank all of the rcs s who put in so much work into making it a homelike setting for all the clients. I had to go to the emergency room after fainted and Staci ended up taking me after her 16 hour shift. You can tell everyone truly cares and wants nothing but the best for you. If you want to recover selah is truly the place to go. Selah truly saved my life. I never at once felt like I was judged. I always felt safe. Huge thanks to Marci, Todd and All the nurses. You truly have such a positive impact on everyones lives.

The lodge has an incredible staff of counselors and techs that absolutely cares about your recovery in a woodsy and relaxing environment that has access to a gym and 24 hour availability to people who can help with any issue that you might be having with recovery and access to food 24 hours a day ( so watch the belt line ) . Although the schedule is demanding they have a way of making seem that it is not over bearing ... They changed and saved my life and I know the staff can do the same for you if you want it ... Detox is hard, and you are miserable when you first get there. But these people know what they are doing. The staff and nurses are amazing people, some who have been addicts themselves.

This place is amazing if you need to detox from opioids this is the best place . I have been to many rehabs and this place by far was the best for me . The staff is hands down the best in the business they really care about their patients. They try their best to make sure you are comfortable I recommend this place over anywhere. I m going to miss all the nurses that s how nice they was to me . I greatly appreciate everything they done for me . They are angels at that facility. I've been a patient here for over 6 years and have had some issues here and there but it took me a while to realize how much this place cares about their patients. They have been there for me through everything and never gave up on me or kicked me out of therapy for my behavior, which is improving thanks to my new treatment plan with Dr. Patrick Z. I realize that mental health therapy takes time and not everything is going to work right off the bat. Maybe its a breakthrough i've had while in treatment, or maybe it's me finally growing up. If you're willing to be patient and put the time and effort into your therapy, you'll get alot farther than you would just by taking pills and calling it a day. I'll always recommend this place! Thanks guys

UPDATE***Dr. smith advocated for me (telling the hospital I didn t want extra test done and got my IV out early) and stuck to my birth plan like I have 3 children and this was THE BEST care and birth I ve ever gotten . Went completely natural and I know I wouldn t be able to do it without her. Then proved extra care to me on top of the hospital staff and Dr. then even the next night came and visited me to see how we was doing . After I healedI immediately made her our pcp and pediatric care provider. Thank you Dr. smith !!!!Staff are all so kind a personal. Stayed at this places for 4 months and will never forgot it. Unfortunately everyone in there with me that I had numbers from has relapsed and died from Heroin. I had no want to get clean, just tried to get my mother off my back. This was in 2012. November 15th 2017 I wanted it for myself. Went to a place here locally with a bag of clothes and a moped. Worked the steps. Went to 12-14 meetings a week (no joke) fell in love with recovery. After looking back, I seen some great people there. The counselor Sid really seemed to care and told it how it was. Wish I would’ve got it together then but God had different plans. I now have bought my own house, have my license and 3 different cars. Bought more property to make my yard bigger and build a new house on. Everything in my life has gotten better doing the next right thing. Getting married in October. Wish I would’ve done more step work but I eventually got it done. Much love ya’ll. A lot of them called me Big Country or Flacco. I guess it means white not in Spanish? lol I had a lot of fun and Holy Spirit interactions at this place

I am very grateful that the Lord put it in my heart to call the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center when I called out for help with my alcoholism! I had all intentions in coming to get help me with my drinking and unbeknownst to me, this place was able to help me in ways I didn t even realize needed help. They helped me mentally, spiritually, and physically transform into a new being. I am currently an active member of the corps as well a member of the ministry staff. I have better relationships with God and my children. Great things are happening at this place of new beginnings!

Jack Marlor. This place allowed me to detox, remain in the transitional housing, because I didn't have a place to go. I don't know why anyone would give a bad review. I did the IOP program and I found this to be extremely healing for me. I was met with empathy, understanding, and patience every step of the way. The people in my group and staff were so helpful and kind. I was recommended this facility from an ER and have since met people who have also completed the program. I have only heard positive things about the Stress Center and I would recommend anyone seeking help to use this facility.
