Even tho I feel overwhelmed with life constantly I do know that I've gained coping skills and strength and healthier ways to manage my struggle......This place has saved my life and I'm beyond thankful for them . The positive vibes in the group are so strong that you can't help but leave there thinking positively and feeling good about yourself. Victoria is very knowledgeable and has many resources to help you implement your individual treatment plan. She does not judge anyone and is very receptive and genuinely passionate about helping each individual create a sobriety plan, set it in motion, and be held accountable and frequently revisit the goals you set for yourself. I’ve seen my Psychiatrist since 2019. Dr Baer is such a wonderful doctor. She truly cares for all of her patients! I’m now 19, but I still choose to see her, over an “adult” doctor. Why? Because she cares. She checks in, talks to you, and actually does her job right! The crisis center is also a wonderful place, to calm down and recollect your thoughts. This place really does care about you. The only reason I give 4 stars, is sometimes communication lacks. I recently started seeing a skills specialist! But it was out of the blue. I waited months on a list with no check ins, information, ect. They just reached out after they were assigned to me. Big, in all honesty: I think that’s more so the company’s fault, rather than anyone involved. I see a lot of negative reviews, and I don’t want to invalidate anyone’s personal experiences, you’re seen. I am sorry to those who haven’t had the privilege or pleasure to be properly treated. But, I want you to know: therapy is hit or miss to most. Don’t let your personal experiences here deter you from trying again. I love this place, it’s been such a wonderful experience for me! The staff at the front desk were kind and professional, and the therapist I met with was very understanding and ready to help me with my problems. Alexander Drabant 3 years ago I've been seeing a therapist at Greenfield Gallahue & couldn't be happier with the care I've received. As with any medical condition and seeing a specialist for that problem can take several weeks to months to get in to see that specialist. The same is true with therapist. It can take alot of time to get in. I mention this because I want to share for anyone reading this to not give up if you don't get an answer, call again. If we were having a heart problem we take it seriously and we would keep calling that cardiologist until we got in, right? But it might take weeks or months to get in, unless its an emergency and in that case we go to the ER. Your mental health and when something is going on we can see a specialist and if its an emergency that's when an inpatient emergency is going on and we need to have immediate care. If youre in crisis right now you can call or text 988 and talk to someone rightaway. In the mean time, make the appointment and hang in there. It's hard right now to get in to any doctor or specialist and most if them are really doing the best they can too because they're human -- just like us. It’s really nice doing virtual appointments and the initial intake questions that you have to do typically beforehand was done over the phone when I scheduled my appointment. The person was very sensitive to my comfort level in regards to answering touchy questions.
