I called the narcotics anonymous hotline about my son and they arranged for us to take him to Boca. My son didn't really want to go, but he went and was so glad he did. The staff were polite and answered any questions I had. The wait for my walk-in appointment was not too bad. The only negative thing I can say about the visit is that they were "not allowed" to turn on the television, the receptions told me that there had been arguments started over it in the past. I'm not sure if they were over the contents of what was being aired or something else. They also had no magazines to look through while you wait. Maybe, someone could make a donation. Not everyone has a phone to stare at while they wait.

Truly a positive experience. The staff was so impactful in helping me achieve my sobriety. Before Hickory I’ve never experienced any sort of rehabilitation. In ANY aspect of my life. I was WRECKED. So my expectations were very “surfaced”. The tools and practices the staff, therapists, BHT’s and even the front desk and office staff provide go beyond just the addiction part. Even when some of us are at our absolute lowest and have lost sight of everything and everyone else…. It’s impossible, even then to lose sight of someone making us feel GENUINELY cared about. I’ll always remember the time we spent together Hickory!!! All 3 times of them.

I have and will continue to recommend Hickory House to people that are struggling with addiction because of what they have done and meant to me in my life. I love what the Harbor Light Center is doing for our community! I know several people who have gone through this program and they have been transformed by the incredible love and care they received there. This is a top-notch detox and addiction treatment program and it shows. Harbor Light welcomes anyone - no matter what their background is or how many times they've been through recovery. The staff doesn't give up on anyone! Stayed at this places for 4 months and will never forgot it. Unfortunately everyone in there with me that I had numbers from has relapsed and died from Heroin. I had no want to get clean, just tried to get my mother off my back. This was in 2012. November 15th 2017 I wanted it for myself. Went to a place here locally with a bag of clothes and a moped. Worked the steps. Went to 12-14 meetings a week (no joke) fell in love with recovery. After looking back, I seen some great people there. The counselor Sid really seemed to care and told it how it was. Wish I would’ve got it together then but God had different plans. I now have bought my own house, have my license and 3 different cars. Bought more property to make my yard bigger and build a new house on. Everything in my life has gotten better doing the next right thing. Getting married in October. Wish I would’ve done more step work but I eventually got it done. Much love ya’ll. A lot of them called me Big Country or Flacco. I guess it means white not in Spanish? lol I had a lot of fun and Holy Spirit interactions at this place

I've been a patient here for over 6 years and have had some issues here and there but it took me a while to realize how much this place cares about their patients. They have been there for me through everything and never gave up on me or kicked me out of therapy for my behavior, which is improving thanks to my new treatment plan with Dr. Patrick Z. I realize that mental health therapy takes time and not everything is going to work right off the bat. Maybe its a breakthrough i've had while in treatment, or maybe it's me finally growing up. If you're willing to be patient and put the time and effort into your therapy, you'll get alot farther than you would just by taking pills and calling it a day. I'll always recommend this place! I had a very positive experience at Centerstone. The staff and Doctor were both friendly and helped me with my needs. The front desk girl who checked me in and out was especially nice and helped me with my paperwork. I recommend this place for sure.

What can I say the staff an dr at spero have just been a miracle!! I've been a spero patient 4 years now through some of the hardest times in my life, and my dr kasie is just a god sent they truly care about there patients an actually listen when alot of us are used to being pushed to the side or over looked. An to my girlie's at the front desk chrystal is absolutely amazing an definitely deserves a raise 😉😉 okay seriously tho chrystal will move heaven an earth for you. Chris my therapist has been one of the best councilor I have ever had an I've had alot so caring and compassionate specially after losing my brother an fiancé 3 months apart my world was rocked to the core but spero has been there every step of the way to make sure I continue to succeed.

When I first pulled up and seen the building I said oh God this can't be the place then they gave me tour inside and I said oh God but I made it my 28 days plus got my excellent in recovery certificate and my little Stone only had a couple problems with a few staff members the last week the doctor didn't want to see me and the recovery Coach Guy didn't want to see me for some reason but the head nurse I'll give her four stars

Hickory was a blessing from God. I could be myself in Christ! The staff was amazing from Andre, Nate, and Ethan to the awesome Kitchen staff (love you Momma), Case managers (thank you Shane and Brandi),Therapists (thank you Carol and Tish), Nursing Staff (thanks Nicole 😊, Kiera, Carrie and Amy), Housekeeping (Torrie and Mr King), maintenance, and the Foot soldiers and glue to this program THE BHT'S(ALL OF YOU TAKE A BOW, WITHOUT YOU GUYS MANY THINGS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DONE EFFECTIVELY 😊). I will keep all of you in my daily prayers asking for blessings upon blessings to each of you. This treatment center was about brotherhood, self examination, Groups to get the necessary tools for succes in Sobriety (if you use them), and getting ahold of your Higher Power, mine unapologetically is Jesus Christ! This is the one and only drug and alcohol counseling . They DO care! They do have you write a detailed plan on how to stay true to your sobriety! Anyone who says different isn't trying hard enough to work the program!
