A Detox Center & Inpatient Drug Rehab

Flexible Outpatient Recovery Services

If you’re seeking something more flexible, the facility’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) and standard outpatient support services may be better options for you. Red Ribbon Recovery has been a life-changing experience for me. When I first came here, I was unsure, scared, and honestly didn’t know what to expect. From day one, the staff made me feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Every single person here is not only incredibly smart and well-qualified, but they have the kind of compassion and insight you just can’t teach. They see you as a person, not a problem — and that makes all the difference. The program is structured in such a thoughtful way. Every bit of time and every resource is used to help you heal, grow, and rebuild your life. I never once felt like I was just “going through the motions.” Everything they do has real purpose and meaning behind it. Elliot deserves so much credit for the amazing work he’s done leading Red Ribbon Recovery. You can feel his dedication in every detail — from the way the staff supports clients to the calm, welcoming environment he’s created. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for him; it’s his passion and purpose. I’m beyond grateful for everything this place has done for me. Red Ribbon Recovery isn’t just a treatment center — it’s a place where real healing happens, and where hope is restored.

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Red Ribbon Recovery Indiana works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

When removing addictive substances from your body under the care of licensed medical professionals, the process is called medically assisted detox. Once you've become physically dependent on substances like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines, quitting can be uncomfortable or even dangerous. To minimize risks to your health and overall discomfort, a team of medical professionals monitors you 24/7 and provides medications if necessary (like Suboxone or methadone) to ease potential symptoms of withdrawal.

Inpatient rehab provides intensive, round-the-clock care and is designed primarily for clients who have just completed detox, those in early recovery, and those at an increased risk of relapse. Inpatient treatment typically includes extensive psychotherapy that draws on various modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. Clients also learn the recovery-focused life skills needed to promote sustained recovery. Many inpatient drug rehabs also offer evidence-based holistic therapies like meditation, yoga, massage, and experiential therapy.

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) can provide intensive rehab on a short-term basis. While PHP treatment typically requires a commute, telehealth may be available. PHP treatment costs can vary but are often covered by most insurance. The program duration can vary to meet your specific needs and require you to meet for a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. PHP Treatment services often include relapse prevention strategies, medication management, individual and group counseling, and other behavioral therapy interventions.

Persons who require high-level support but who do not wish to leave their homes or communities may enroll in an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients typically commit to a minimum of nine treatment hours across three therapeutic sessions per week, but many programs offer up to 20 hours of care weekly. Most intensive outpatient rehabs provide a combination of psychotherapy, recovery education, and holistic care. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is widely available for those in alcohol or opioid recovery.

If you need some flexibility and choice when it comes to your recovery, outpatient rehab programs are a great option because they do not require intensive inpatient treatment. Clients remain in their own homes and may continue to work or attend school while in active treatment. Outpatient treatment typically includes addiction counseling and continuing recovery education, including courses in self-care and relapse prevention. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available in many treatment centers for clients in opioid and/or alcohol recovery.

Treatments

If a person has alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism, they experience a desire or physical need to consume alcohol. A person with AUD may try to stop drinking but they are unsuccessful without professional help. Alcohol rehab in Indiana can provide the resources necessary to achieve and maintain recovery. Rehab programs typically involve a combination of medical, behavioral, and social supports to overcome alcohol addiction.

For long-term recovery from drug addiction, drug rehab in Indiana is often key. This treatment gives individuals who are struggling with a substance use disorder the tools to manage their disorder and achieve long-term sobriety.

Indiana provides substance abuse treatment programs for individuals with substance use disorders. With a range of care levels, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs, you'll be able to find the right treatment for you. Programs usually include a substance abuse evaluation, evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and group therapy address substance abuse and enhance coping strategies. By offering personalized treatment plans and a supportive environment, these programs strengthen your ability to maintain your recovery.

In Indiana, dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs address the unique needs of individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Care levels include outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. Therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and process groups address the co-occurring mental health disorders while achieving sobriety and promoting overall well-being. You'll also learn coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and tools to enhance your relationships - all critical skills for long-term recovery.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

When you participate in cognitive behavioral therapy in Indiana, you'll learn to recognize distorted thinking that has led to substance use. Your therapist will help you establish new patterns of thinking and healthy ways to cope with challenges that don't involve substance use.

Individual dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) takes place in weekly, 60 minute sessions. You'll have homework to do, such as keeping a diary to track your emotions and actions. You'll also attend group sessions, which are intended to be skills practicing sessions. DBT in Indiana typically lasts six months to a year.

Motivational interviewing aims to stimulate the client's personal motivation and commitment to change. Rather than receive advice and warnings from the therapist, the client is given the opportunity to share their concerns and reach their own conclusions.

I attended the PHP and IOP programs from February to May of 2026. The staff there was excellent the entire time, and they really tailored the experience to my needs following an inpatient stay for substance use and mental health. Throughout my time, I gained many tools and skills that I continue to utilize in my everyday life. It is by far the best outpatient program I have attended. I want to give a special shout-out to Amanda and Sarah, who were my therapist and care coordinator. They always listened to my needs and concerns and proved that I was important as an individual. I also want to shoutout others I met like Emma, Terrance and Mariah. Everyone definitely played a huge role in my success there. While preparing my aftercare program from inpatient treatment, I spent a lot of time choosing an outpatient program, and I’m happy to say I could not have made a better choice.

Response from the owner
Michael, thank you for such a thoughtful review. Choosing an outpatient program after inpatient is a big decision, and hearing that the time you spent weighing your options led you here means a lot.

Congratulations on the work you've put in, Michael. Don't be a stranger.

Red Ribbon Recovery has significantly helped me in being able to create a better life for myself. The staff at Red Ribbon always made a safe and comfortable place for me to share my thoughts. Amanda was my therapist throughout my program, and I could truly not have asked for a better person to help guide me through tough times. She was always truthful, positive, and encouraging! I am very grateful to have received help from Red Ribbon.

Response from the owner

My husband "graduated" from here March 27, 2026 from intensive outpatient. The amount of money spent and his mental health was not addressed at all. He was struggling the entire time on top of drinking while in therapy sessions. I know he is responsible for his recovery but my questions is how did nobody notice after WEEKS worth of nightly 3.5 hr therapy sessions? Is the staff all qualified for this type of work, were trained therapists involved daily, and it seemed like nightly "therapy" sessions where just 3.5 hours of everyone's day, and how & tell. The plan wasn't very individualized at all. So now, 3 weeks later he is inpatient at another facility to address his mental health crisis he's been having since February and none of the staff here noticed a thing wrong.

Response from the owner
Thank you for taking the time to share this. Due to privacy laws, we’re unable to confirm or discuss anyone’s treatment publicly but the concerns raised here deserve a direct response. Our clinical team is led by licensed therapists and every treatment plan is built around the individual. Please call the facility and ask for our clinical director. We want to understand what happened and address it directly.
