Living with chronic illness (Long Covid) for over 4 years kinda knocks the stuffings right out of you,. Pain, MCAS, SEVERE muscle spasms and the all around joyless existence of endless doctor appointments, I’d all but resigned myself to the new normal and then I discovered Dr. Dee and his clinic. For months I’d wavered, I mean whoever thought ketamine could help me, a Long Covid sufferer? Well, after another of a numerous trips to the ER (severe debilitating muscle spasms) I did a serious due diligence and decided to give it a shot. When you physically and emotionally have reached your outer limit, you have nothing to lose. So, here I am today OPTIMISTIC, several treatments in and the life I once knew I feel is still out there waiting for me to reclaim. With each treatment my quality of life comes more and more into focus. I can’t speak highly enough of the professional, kind and compassionate treatment I’ve received at Alpha Omega Wellness! My only regret is feeling stuck on the traditional medical treadmill. I’m excited to see where this journey will take me! Thank you Dr. Bonney and your wonderful staff for restoring the hope for the happy life that I once had all but given up on. 😊

Ok this might be long. I have had depression my whole life. This is not an exaggeration--I have realized that recently. I could name a very long list of the medications I have tried over the years: I have been on SOMEthing since the 1980s. Some helped at the very beginning of trying that particular antidepressant, or anti-anxiety meds, but nothing truly *worked*. I would become more discouraged until I just gave up, more hopeless than I was before I started them. Though never suicidal, I lived in a very dark and gray space. I tried, I really did. But there just was nothing out there that was going to convince me there was a long-term solution, let alone "cure" for depression and anxiety. The results with all medications I tried, along with talk therapy in various stages, just were NOT the solution. Enter Alpha Omega Wellness. Call it serendipity, but while scrolling, there was an ad with Dr. Dee and another patient talking about REMISSION from depression. Their facial expressions said "sincerity". My curiosity was piqued. I pressed the "Learn More" the second time they showed up in my feed. I found out about neuroplasticity and how important it is to brain health. How ketamine, if administered properly, can deliver the type of relief I had been seeking and praying for. It has been 6 weeks. From the first visit, I felt cared about and cared for. The goal was simple: to be FREE from depression and anxiety. I can unequivocally state that I am free from depression and anti-anxiety. No joke. I pinch myself that after decades of barely functioning, I feel like I have my life back. Life still goes on: we all struggle, but instead of feeling like what else could possibly go wrong, I dont feel defeated. No perpetual overwhelming sadness, no more Eeyore days. I hope this gives you hope. I hope you will value yourself enough to make yourself a priority for 6 weeks. You are worth it. I cant even say how amazing it is to look back just 6 short weeks and see how far this has brought me. You can be free from the boulder of depression and/or anxiety. I thank Alpha Omega Wellness with all my heart. Blessings.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

If you need some flexibility and choice when it comes to your recovery, outpatient rehab programs are a great option because they do not require intensive inpatient treatment. Clients remain in their own homes and may continue to work or attend school while in active treatment. Outpatient treatment typically includes addiction counseling and continuing recovery education, including courses in self-care and relapse prevention. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available in many treatment centers for clients in opioid and/or alcohol recovery.

This is not a magic cure for post traumatic stress or CPTSD or anxiety or depression. It requires long term use to maintain benefits. And right now this industry does not seem to have a lot of quality control. I was either misdosed, the infusion pump's flow rate was set wrong, or the infusion pump broke, causing me to receive a bolus of ketamine. They were cagey on what exactly happened. In addition to that, I did not have a pulse oximeter placed on my finger prior to the infusion, which was also my way to communicate to the staff. The end result was very traumatizing and I still have not received a lot of explanation of what happened. It really seems like the doctor is more concerned about making money than actually ensuring you are safely getting better. I would really ask anyone considering this sort of thing to reconsider. It is advertised as a magic cure but it is far from it, and it can go sideways very fast. Do your research before you consider this treatment. Really question if it's worth it. And if you think it is, I would suggest elsewhere. Response to response: if you cared about patient safety more than making money you would have been there. I think I saw the doctor in the office one time. In my opinion there should not be anyone getting dosed without a doctor present. I am still, a year after this event, experiencing the negative consequences of your negligence. You can apologize and cover your backside in a Google review, thats easy, but it's not been easy for me.

Response from the owner
Hi Matt,
You and I both know that nothing I say in this reply is likely to change how you feel about your experience, and I want to acknowledge that upfront. Your experience with our office on that infusion day was not okay. For the person reading this review (why you wanted to share, Matt), I do want to address a few of the concerns you raised because we agree on several things:
“This is advertised as a magic cure for PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, or depression.”
We agree 100%. IV ketamine therapy is not a magic cure, and we never want our ads, website, or social media to imply that it is. Ketamine works best when paired with proper preparation, integration, and a long-term focus on brain health. It is a tool, not the work itself.
“It requires long-term use to maintain benefits.”
This can be true for some patients. While not everyone requires ongoing treatment, some individuals benefit from booster infusions to support neuroplasticity and continued healing. This is something we discuss broadly with patients when providing education about ketamine therapy, including on our website and social platforms.
“This industry doesn’t seem to have much quality control.”
We agree with this concern as well. The lack of consistent standards in this space is one of the reasons we continue advanced education in psychedelic medicine and remain committed to evidence-based protocols. Responsible delivery of this therapy matters deeply to us. And that leads us to where we missed the mark in your care and why I understand completely you wanting to give us one star.
“I was either misdosed or received a bolus due to a pump issue.”
This is the most important point. Your care on that infusion day did not meet our standards, and for that we are sincerely sorry. While we don't want to discuss your specific medical details publicly (HIPAA and such), an error or malfunction occurred, and it should not have happened. We took this incident seriously, investigated it thoroughly, and made changes to prevent it from happening again.
“They were cagey about what happened.”
I’m sorry that our communication came across that way. That was never our intention. Again, without sharing openly across this public forum about your care, our intention was to communicate openly and transparently following the incident, and we regret that it did not come across that way. We were genuinely devastated that an equipment or setting issue occurred. But, apparently we missed the mark in clearly communicating. We understand how that uncertainty added to your distress.
“It seems like the doctor is more concerned about making money than ensuring safety.”
I want to address this directly. Patient safety and ethical care are foundational to why we do this work. When this incident occurred, we took steps to try to make things right, including a financial adjustment, because accountability matters to us. While no refund can undo a negative experience, it was important to acknowledge that your care did not meet our standard. Like any medical practice, we must remain financially sustainable in order to continue providing care, but that reality never outweighs our responsibility to patients. We do not take the trust people place in us lightly. We are grateful that many patients have had positive experiences with our office, but we acknowledge in your situation we fell short.
And above all else, we do want to say this: Matt, we sincerely apologize that this error occurred during your infusion and for the distress it caused you and may be continuing to cause you. Your experience matters, and we regret that it happened under our care. We respect your perspective and understand why you would caution others. At the same time, we encourage anyone considering IV ketamine therapy to seek out physician-led care, ask questions, and make an informed decision that feels right for them. We hope by our not shying away from this review and sharing openly we can rebuild trust.
