I've been going here for the last four years now. They worked with my 10yr old grandson who suffers from ADHD. He will be attending a class next week to help with anger issues. Donna Palmer 2 years ago I don't know what the negative reviews are talking about. Pines has helped WAY more with a family member than Lifeway's or Segue. They even offer group support for family members that are living with patients. I think it all comes down to: you get out of it what you put into it. Nobody can do the work for you. If you keep showing up, do the things to change your reality, and use the tools you're given in therapy - over time things do change for you. I see a common thread that patients are saying they don't help, my family member says the same. He also wants everyone to do everything for him and I'm not sure he actually wants to get better. If you're looking for help with a family member, this is the place. It took years of struggling & living in hell to finally get help with our family member with his resistance. From an outside perspective & someone that has been in therapy for years, even tried lifeway's myself - Pines offers more than acceptional programs. It's worth the drive. It's all up to the patient's to get what they need from themselves ultimately. First of all my fiancée is a veteran and has been seeking help through the VA for a physiological induced/ medically induced MH issue. He was in the ER and urgent care several times, telling his MH provider he needed help something was wrong, being told that it was all in his head. The day my fiancée was admitted to the Northeastern center I honestly didn’t know if he would live, he couldn’t eat, sleep or function and within hours after admission one dose of medication under his tongue and he was much better. It took two days of inpatient and he is home. I am very grateful to the doctor who knew enough to treat him with the right medication. The VA would never have figured it out. As far as all the bad reviews I had no negative experiences nor did my fiancée. They did give me a code and it worked easily and yes that is to protect the patience privacy and it is HIPAA. This place also excepts sliding scale. From start to finish wonderful. Totally professional, glad to know they exist, amy mascara 9 months ago These ladies do work. Even against the threat of social repercussions. I loved my time here, although I never hope to be in a situation that gets me close to the edge again. Good work here to everyone, and I hope we keep stomping the stigma. And, if all else fails, I’ll be back for some cherry coke and good times before having an amazing life. My life is going great since recovering here! Just takes discipline, active listening, and a strong commitment to the goals you make to your loved ones while being here. Now, the people sitting in their cars while people "hold their spots" IS something a few certain individuals do, but certainly BHG have been and will be addressing those issues as well from their camera footage.!? The staff works hard, things run smoothly and you can tell there are people here who genuinely care about what they’re doing. Huge shoutout to Michelle (aka the real MVP / PD) for keeping things together. It does not go unnoticed. That said…the parking lot is currently giving “extreme sports obstacle course.” The potholes are not subtle. You don’t just park here, you navigate it. If you hear a loud thud on your way in, just know it’s not construction, it’s your suspension filing a complaint. Fix the potholes and this place would be pretty close to perfect. They offer helpful groups which was one thing I liked. Because other facilities the groups are not reliable. These groups are almost DBT related.
